Seeing how the others react, I don’t think Dirk will be the new leader anytime soon. It would basically be his own folks vs. everyone else in a election.
Also I now love Pollo.
I like the subtlety of the background colors in this page. I assume that’s the new thing being tried?

I’m going to make a prediction here and say one of the FFs sitting around the table is a traitor. I would say it’s the rhino, but that’s way too obvious. More likely it’s probably one of the other characters in the bottom frame (with the exception of Ari; he already knows that doing that is pointless).

And what does the rhino think he’d have done better? Did Sally not explain the diamond glass that prevented them from destroying Doomsday’s control core by regular means? Or the risk of using the Deep Power Stones “explosion” setting?

I’m with the others on this one. Dirk’s logic is flawed at best, and it looks like the other freedom fighters won’t be tolerating his BS much longer.
Considering the freedom fighters were supposed to be all together on stopping Project Doomsday, and they succeeded without a doubt, hearing Dirk try to kick Sally out of her role as leader is going to cause some real conflicts, especially with Ari and the Wolf Pack.
Didn’t Naugus say that he swapped places with Robotnik to escape the Void? I imagine that plot point will turn back up at this rate. Not to mention that Sally seems to be a little reliant on Sonic for emotional support if the last chapter is anything to go be. If Dirk picked up on either, expect him to go full bore on his little campaign.
@SBaby if that is the case, I would say that the one sitting to the right of the rhino (from our perspective) would be the one, considering his expression. But then again, it could just be him being unsure of which side to take :/
On another note, first time that I had checked back in a while, glad to see the comic is moving again 😀
Notice how Ari is turned and facing Dirk directly. He’s not taking any of this shit lying down. If Dirk thinks he can easily slide into a leadership role due to his age, he’s more than sorely mistaken. I say Sally’s collective experience on the frontlines of the resistance as well as her birthright are more than enough to trump whatever he believes he can manage. I can’t speak for everyone at the round table, but Ari at least looks ready to sock Dirk in the mouth! Paulo looks nonplussed to me, as though this is typical of his friend, and the other visible members of this meeting appear a mixture of frightened or pissed off. I could see a full scale riot about to erupt at this table unless someone steps up to put a stop to it…
*waits patiently for Sally to speak up*
Dirk made two mistakes. One insulting Sally. Two, getting in Sonic’s face. This wont end well. That is unless someone proves there stronger then Dirk. Who, I am not sure. But if someone faced him in a one on one fight and the winner choses the leader, well then Dirk may lose two only two that I can think of, Sonic or Bunny. But that is still a stretch. But hay I always vote for the long shots. (I never gamble though)
Does anyone know the name of the Raccoon character? (member of Pollo’s Freedom Fighter)
