Wow, what a great ending to this chapter! We all were suspicious about Dirk, but I didn’t image him aiming so high.
I don’t think Gavin will stay loyal to Dirk for much longer, especially now when he said he wanted Sally “out of the way”. He’s probably more scared of him than anything else at this point.
Then again, we don’t know much about either Dirk or Gavin, so there’s most likely something in the story we’re yet to see.

Dun, dun, duuuun. Will Gavin find the weaknesses to the Freedom Fighters? Will Dirk be able to see that he is a jerk, or will Sally beat him to that? And whatever happened to Knuckles? All this and more in the next exciting chapter of Sea3on!

I suspect Dirk is not plotting against Sally alone. I think he’s being used as a spy for Naugus and Snivley.

How jealous of someone does one have to be to want them ‘out of the way’?
This scene made me think that Dirk is Mr. Evil Red Eyes from 2nd season’s ending XD
I’m going to take a wild guess and say that this guy is going to be the catalyst for a tonal shift in the series.
I never did like Dirk
I’m guessing Gavin is going to try and appeal to Sally’s sentimental/emotional side and try to be a third wheel between Sonic and Sally. Whether or not Gavin will be completely faking it or slowly develop genuine feelings for her is up to you. Then again, we don’t exactly have a clear read of his personality yet. But for me, I don’t like Gavin. Even though he seems like the socially awkward type, I just don’t trust the guy. He might be a nice guy, he might even try to derail Dirk’s plans, or he might just be putting on a facade and is much more devious on the inside. Dirk on the other hand is a no-brainer – the guy’s an asshole.
However, I strongly suggest that you guys don’t do the “Romantic Triangle” cliche. Lord KNOWS that Archie screwed that up big time.
Will the lasttwo chapters get PDFs in the download section? I like archiving these on my tablet and re-reading them while offline.

Not only do I agree with Arturo about the possibility of a love triangle between Sonic ,Sally and Gavin being cliche…I also agree that Dirk’s an asshole LOL.
We don’t know what Gavin is capable of at this point. He could be an assassin or spy for Snively posing as a minion for Dirk. He could be an undercover agent from some good freedom fighters whose trying to find out whose good or villianous. Or maybe, he really is a minion working for Dirk and he feels trapped and obligated to obey his orders, despite him having a good heart. The possibilities are endless but only the Sea3on staff will know what’s next in store for us.

I just noticed that in this page, Dirk and Gavin are eerily similar to Robotnik and Snively.

That ending was pretty good so Dirk is determined to overthrow her as leader.
