I love the work you guys do…. but nobody even thought to mention that her name should be Alicia, considering how closely tied SatAM is to the Archie comic continuity. Yes, I had to correct that, but if you guys wanna change that for this continuity, go right ahead I guess. Not like that Kind of thing hasn’t been done before. *coughcough*QueenAleena*coughcough*

My only complaint is that this means she was married since day one of being a computer…..
and to sallies impossible father.
Everything the show said about him was one big paradox.
He went into the void the same day Julian officially became Robotnik but somehow was able to contact the rebellion that came at least a week after. And he was able to leave a message to Sally under her pet name which we never hear him say in person in a place that he never could have been in until after he met with his future daughter.
I suspect that you guys have plans for clearing that up already since you’ve bought in the only Mobian who could possibly know what happened.
Knowing you you’ve probably already set up a explanation that requires a full read through to catch….

Thanks for the heads up, Gojira. Your writing for the comic has been consistently excellent, so I certainly don’t mind a deviation from Hurst’s ideas. If anything, I’m even more excited for the upcoming story given that it’s been in the works for so long.

OK, I feel I need to say this upfront now before it gets out of hand.

Nicole’s backstory here is NOT based on Ben Hurst’s plans for Nicole.

I realize that’s going to be disappointing for some, and I sympathize. But I conceived this story for Nicole well before Hurst’s plans for the character were made public, and I ultimately chose to stick with it after the fact. I’m sorry for those who this might frustrate, but I ask only that you give my own take on Nicole’s story a chance, and know that I nonetheless deeply respect the legacy of Hurst’s ideas.

I mean, the machine could have been named after her, but she herself didn’t have anything to do with it.

But I think that Gojira should somehow connect it with that “long-lost childhood friend” Ben Hurst talked about.
