That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

These are for the North American server only. I think the North American server is also used for South America and Australia/Oceania. In any case, they should work if your Battle.net account is registered on the US site.

If you want one, go to us.battle.net, log into your account (or create one if you don't have one), and redeem one of the following codes:

Key 1: XFEDNK-86CK-YK8B6M-Y4XM-Z2PYMC
Key 2: Y94YMM-BH9F-TVK67H-JB2R-8DP6C7

Post here afterwards so other people don't try to redeem a code that's already been taken.

This code's valid only until the morning (not afternoon or evening!) of July 31st, so if you're gonna get it, get it now.

Download Origin if you don't have it already. Once you've logged in, go to "Origin->Redeem Code..." and type in "I-LOVE-THE-SIMS" (sans quotes). This will get you The Sims 2 and everything Maxis/EA ever released for it. Everything!

Now, you're supposed to only use this code if you already own The Sims 2 -- something the gaming press has been consistently ignoring, sadly -- but EA's not bothering to ask whether you actually own the game or not, so...
