As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
Just wanted to pop in and see how everyone is doing. I hope you all had a wonderful New Year and Christmas. Saddened that Sea3on is delayed In any case, what's new with everybody?
I know I've been AWOL for awhile (work, starting a business, broke up with girlfriend, and I bought a house!), but I"m back with a new fresh set of potential debating material.
How have you been affected by Obamacare? Personally, it hasn't done much to me (yet) except raise my deductible by 20%. For those who don't understand insurance, a deductible is the amount you have to pay out of pocket before the insurance kicks in. Thankfully my employer covers my premium. My mom works part-time at K-mart to supplement her Social Security--they booted her off of their (already pitiful) employee plan and told her to go get on the exchange. She decided that she would just hold out till Medicaid next year.
I'll post some more observations later, especially about the exchange website fiasco. Until then, let's hear your thoughts.
Just a fanfiction I've been working on for the past few months. It's a coming of age story for Tails as a mysterious virus sweeps across the continent. Read and review and let me know what you think.
It's me again with another hot-button topic: your local law enforcement (sometimes called "peace officers"). My question: do you feel they are out of control? I just got done reading this article about an elderly gentleman who was shot and killed in his own driveway as he was walking out of his house (with his firearm) to check on his neighbor's burglar alarm. The police opened fire on him and snuffed him out. You can also read (and watch) stories about LEO (law enforcement officers) harassing people that have concealed carry permits and legalized open cary permits (where applicable), as well as people who video and photograph police. Hell, there's even an entire site dedicated to chronicling stories about harassment, goof ups, what-to-do, legal options, etc. The most negativity I've ever seen is the abundance of apathy where I hail from (backwoods NC), but now that I live in the suburbs in SC, the environment and attitudes are different, but since I've never dealt with any of them in this state, I don't know.
