As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
I'm going to jump in and answer one question here...Cause my name was mentioned and I'm the boss
The scripts are detailed to the extent of a book. Or even more so. Between visual references, and just over all stuff like "crack on left wall stretching so long etc etc". Basically the text of each page only takes up about 1/8th of that pages script. The rest goes into detail of everything on that page. How stuff should look and so on.
After the script is completed (as its done by chapter) I will read it then toss in changes if they need to be done. Ive only had to do that once I think and that wasn't a plot changing switch. Just some dialogue. Then it goes to myself and Steven meeting up together and breaking down the script even further. Gojira is great and does write page by page, however sometimes we just can not fit a script page into a actual page. Take last chapter.. I think we went over by 10 or so pages. So basically the meeting between myself and Steven just breaks down the script into what can be drawn. Certain pages where we dunno if we can fit it in properly we will sometimes do 2 or 3 mock layouts before picking the proper one which Steven will then draw out.
If Gojira did draw out story boards..To be honest it would just make it worse for Steven. Thats what happens when you run a separate artist and writer. Steven knows what he can do to make a page look good, and Gojira knows how to write out a proper story to make the page interesting.
So simply its a split effort. Gojira does the right thing and his scripts are detailed in writing, leaves it up to Steven to make it visual.
Its funny...Over the years this argument keeps on popping up time and time again. No seriously, this shit was going on when I first joined FUS years and years and... Lets say a Decade ago.
In fact at one point it got so annoying that the website had a rule where you couldn't talk about it. ....FUS had a lot of stupid rules over the years.
Oh its al right. We all know Vlad has the worst of everything and is a complete bad ass who has had everything bad happen to him. Far worse then what anyone else has ever had. You know why? Cause he is Vlad the bad ass. Wind? Pffft, got nothing on him. Power goes out? He uses his Vlad depression power to turn it back on!
You have a snow day? Don't worry, Vlad had it worse. Shot in the foot? Well Vlad was shot in the chest! House on fire? Vlad is on fire! Nothing to worry about, after all, whatever happens in our daily life we can be sure that Vlad has had 100 times worse.
I sure am glad Vlad is here. Tree almost hitting my truck? Pffft, guess what! Vlad had it worse! Cause its clearly a competition. Sorry Vlad, I loose. Clearly all Canadians cant handle a little wind storm. Our tree's and power poles can't either.. Those pansy's!
I spent all day driving and delivering stuff in the rain. At first you think "oh at least you aren't out in the rain" but ohh no. Each stop involved getting out, un strapping stuff from the truck, un loading it, putting more stuff into it, strapping that down. Each stop was probably 20 minutes in the pissing down rain. There were only so many my little pony things I could use to piss my co worker off. Which was still hilarious so cheers for the list of characters Gojira. Im also pretty sure I made up random shit.. For example whenever we finished unloading/loading I did this power ranger dance thing and went "Friendship is Magic!" waiting for a high-five from him.
Its this. Steven drew it out a while ago (before Christmas) but it took a bit to get it properly printed at his school and framed. (the pic Im showing you is what he sent to me after it was just printed)
