Chapter 2, Two unexpected friends.

Bobcat: I am Anonymous.

Robert: Oh please. You name is Jacob isn’t it.

Jacob: Nice mind reading, but stay out of my mind unless you want to get hurt.

Robert: Good to see you have the power to back that up.

Jacob: Chaos Driller (Robert waits till the last moment then doges and does a round house to the back of his head but Jacob catches it)

Robert: You caught me. Do you want to join my group?

Jacob: Only if you win.

Robert: Ok. This is where it gets fun.

Jacob: Lets get started. (Jacob lets go of Roberts leg) Chaos driller (Robert doges with graces as each punch misses by a hair, but he got one gab that grazes the shoulder and it stings)

Robert: That actually stings. Now I know how much your true strength is let me show you mine. (Robert draws his swords)

Jacob: That’s cute. (Jacob pulls a what looks to be a Bo staff)

Robert: Interesting peace of tech you have there, Hidden blades. A classic.

Jacob: Let’s see how this clash goes. (The first blade is unsheathed)

Robert: The real fight begins. (Robert and Jacob clash weapons) You have some real power, but this is where I have you beat.

Jacob: Don’t assume my friend.

Robert: You will see there is more to me then what you see. (Robert disappears from view) Can’t see me. I can run faster than sound)

Jacob: So when I grabbed your leg you were going slowly.

Robert: Yep. (Jacob suddenly feels weaker and falls to the ground after a few seconds) I win.

Jacob: You did. Ok I will join. (Jacob gets his energy back)

Robert: Good.

Jacob: Can I show you one thing, and tell me if I what I need to work on to make it better.

Robert: Ok. (Jacob holds on fist off the ground them five minutes later he levels 20 feet of ground) I would say reduce the wait time. Other than that its good. Not you mention your skills are good. And you can see that I am no push over.

Jacob: Yeah. Also, now that I think of it, any idea how we are to get down from this Island to the main land.

Robert: Yes. I know how to teloport. Hold on to your lunch. Chaos control. (Robert and Jacob find them self on a beach like area) Were here.

Jacob: (Burp) I don’t feel good. I think my stomach needs to catch up.

Robert: You must have elevation sickness. You stay here and let your stomach catch up, I will scout ahead.

Jacob: Sounds (Burp) good. (Robert starts walking and after a short type he hears a scream that is vary quite but defiantly there)

Robert: What was the screaming for? Chaos control. (Robert teleports into a clearing just ahead of where the screaming was) I should be close now. (Out of the trees runs a little Hedgehog girl that runs and hides behind Robert just peering around his leg) (Thinking) A kid. (Then out runs two more animals, but these ones have no fur or scales)

Man 1: Here she is. Hedgehog boy. Hand over the girl.

Man 2: Yeah, if you know what’s good for ya.

Robert: For what reason should I.

Man 3: Oh. We want to take her back to her family.

Girl: Don’t listen they are bad men.

Man 1: Shut it brat.

Robert: Ok then, I will hand her over, (Robert draws his swords) If you can take me down frits.

Man 2: Sounds fun. (The men pull stun pistols)

Robert: Stun pistols. Is that all you have.

Man 3: Yeah! What of it!?

Robert: No reason. (Robert disappears then reappears between all 3 men and knocks all of them out with one spinning blade strike, the Robert stands for a second then sheaths his swords) It’s just you guys would have done better with swords. (Robert walks over to the girl and crouches to her eye level) What’s your name?

Girl: (with fear in the voice) Sapphire.

Robert: Sapphire. Your lags look weak. I will carry you if you want.

Sapphire: I wish not to be a burden.

Robert: (Small chuckle) If I though you a burden I wouldn’t have offered.

Sapphire: Oh. Ok then. (Still crouching Robert hops and spins till his back is to Sapphire and puts his arms back. Sapphire walks up and puts her arm around his neck and Robert wraps his arms around Sapphires legs then stands then starts walking the way back to Jacob)

Robert: So, why where they chasing you? And who are they?

Sapphire: Those men where over landers. They found me as a baby, I was in there care. But the day I turned five they put me into extremely heard labor. They gave me no chose. I am 14 now. Someone told them I would it a growth spurt soon. So they said, "Good, we can put her under even harder labor." Terrified I ran. I found a way out of where they held me. And ran, and ran. Nonstop for weeks. Those men have been chasing me for days. Some times I would lose them. Sometimes they almost caught me. But now I can say I am safe.

Robert: Are all overlanders like that.

Sapphire: I am not sure. But I know one that was nice. Her name is Hope. She was only 5 when I met her when I 10, I’m 13 now. She was always kind. But when I was being worked hard the men would only lighten up if Hope was near. But the second she wasn’t they went back to hard. Those men used whips to keep me in line. They have hit me just about everywhere with those. When I found the exit I worried about Hope. But I cared more about my safety.

Robert: Well then I would say Hope was smarter then you think.

Sapphire: Why do you say that?

Robert: Please. You conveniently found an exit just before a growth spurt. Hope must have knew about everything they were doing and freed you because she hated seeing you suffer. And if you were to suffer more. It was best to free you. And those guys have no clue Hope did it.

Sapphire: Maybe. (Few minutes later)

Robert: You comfortable.

Sapphire: Yes, your body is so warm, Like a blanket. (Sapphire falls into sleep)

Robert: Asleep. After all she gone thought, Sleep is a good thing to get. I am curious about that Hope girl. But I will worry about that later. Now I need to get aback to camp. Jacob is probably better now. (About an hour later Robert gets back to the camp and Jacob has been siting and waiting for a wile)

 

Not exactly what I thought of for this thing. But plus for thinking outside the life box. (Ha Sonic 1 reference)

Trying to extend the life of the topic. Plus, the topic name just called for stuff like this. Also, I don't know jack about the non-SatAM Sonic universes.

 

What if SatAM were in The A-Team? Now that would be a hoot. *Imitates the A-Team announcer voice* "10 years ago, a small group of Mobians were captured by the evil Robotnik. They promptly excaped from a maximum security stocade to the Great Forest. Still wanted by Robotnik, they survive as soldiers of the resistance. If you've got a problem, if no one else can help, and if you can find them, maybe you can hire the Freedom Fighters" *Cue SatAM theme* Sonic is Hannible. Ant is Face. Tails is Murdock. Rotor and Bunny are aspects of  BA (Rotor's the engeneer, Bunny's the heavy brawler). And Sally is Amy. And istead of a van, they've got a black Hover Pod with a red racing stripe.

 

You have a good point about extending the life. And I have played or watched any of the sonic games. Even fan games Like Sonic Epoch. I have heard but never see the A-Team. But great Ideas.

With that in mind. One Non Sonic mix I have always imagined is Sonic and Kingdom Hearts. Here's How I imagine the opening. (You see sonic eyes closed and he is falling into an abyss, his eyes open and he points his head further back and words flash on the abyss)

Sonic: I have been wondering about many things. Like is destiny set in stone or not. (The opening song from Kingdom Hearts 1 plays, Then the screen starts to flash Sonic laying back eyes closed in the abyss. Then you get a view of his back and then his face as he's eyes head pointed back and then eyes close back and he falls faster. And its almost like he is falling though water, because bubbles come off of him as he falls. Then as he falls she get a view of his face again as his eyes shoot open and you see him in the Great Forest. Looking out into a clearing. He looks around and the screen pulls back to see Knuckles in the clearing. The screen zooms back into Sonic as he is blinded by the sun for a second. When he looks at Knuckles his back is turned, He takes a few steps then looks down he and Knuckles are divided by collapsed trees. And then Sonic looks up and sees trees collapsing. And the clearing has several tall trees that could collapse on him. Knuckles turns around and Puts out his hand. Sonic runs forward jumping over each tree in front of him. But it almost looks like the more he runs forward the farther he gets. Then the trees fall over them both. But then they find themselves under water. Sonic looks up to see Knuckles in the water. And Knuckles puts his hand out again. Sonic tries to swim for Knuckles but is pushed back by the current of the water. And in a few seconds he floats up, And pops up gasping for air. Then finds himself back In the clearing Standing in the middle. He looks around to see Sally beckoning him over. He runs over to her. When he gets to her he leans over to catch is breath just coming out of water then mysteriously appearing on land and running over to Sally. Sally looks like she chuckles because of this looks funny for Sonic. They both look into the Sky and see shooting stars. And one of them Is another Sonic falling from the Sky head first. As that Sonic that falling gets closer to them, The one on the ground falls back. As he falls Sally tries to grab his hand. But fall into the water witch becomes a Sky. He reaches back up as he falls, And Sally reaches further down. But Sonic is already falling far and fast. Soon he just relaxes into a head dive. And as the screen flashes white because of the sun it the background. He again slashes into water. And is spinning and such as he sinks. As he approaches the bottom his eyes are closed and he flips back onto his feet. Eyes open as he lands on his feet. He looks around for a short time. Then he takes a step. And the black ground disappears into a platform as Flickys fly up from the ground. He looks up as the Flickys fly away an he sees he isn't under water anymore, And the platform he is now on is a Giant tower with picture of Bunny.

Well what do you guys think. When you imagine it does it look way past cool or what (Saying that is just a reference I am not trying to gloat. And I am only saying this because there have been misconceptions from many people (Sonic fan or not) That were angry at me because they thought I was gloating so sorry for putting this last part just being careful) But on a more positive note I finally made a reference on this fan sight. That's a plus. I better stop typing or I will never get off this keyboard (LOL)

Oh. I guess I didn't see that. Now I feel like an idiot.

Now that I am actually thinking about it. If Sally and the others from SatAM was there then Cosmo may not have had to die. She could have been easily saved. In fact if that was to happen (First all the Cosmo haters would rage, I am not one them, I like Cosmo she was the character I found the most suited to be Tails girlfriend. Sorry Mina Mongoose, You just never made any sense, true her personality was pretty good but she just seem odd to me. True Cosmo is a plant with to some makes even less sense, But for me I know Tails is smart he could find a way to Genetically engineer a kid or two by finding animal chromosomes matching Cosmo just animal not plant. And Tails does have that seed for another one) Back on topic, Also With Rotor and Tails (With a bit of Sally's help) The could make some kind of way to connect the two worlds without the universes cycles obstructing the way. What do you guys think.
