This story is noncanon, it in no way affects the timeline.
Back on TMD, I made Tales of Legends, my second masterpiece, right after the Cataclysm series. Sadly, my vision never saw the light of day, the site died before my story even began.
Now, I have the chance to revive my story and see that my vision comes to life.
The story goes that Sigma has discovered a simple and quick way to erase all beings of power greater than himself, and has done so. Any and every single person capable of defeating Sigma in combat or by other means has been erased from existence. Records and memories of the people remain, but there is no way to regain those who have been erased. Now at the top of the food chain, Sigma goes mad with power, rewriting universes, altering the laws of physics, generally screwing with everything. However, because of his origin, Sigma has managed to gain the alliance of the entire Nexus universe, my universe, meaning characters like Valgus, Caligo, Inertia, all who hate Sigma for one reason or another, align themselves with Sigma for one reason or another, defying all logic.
This story breaks the forth wall a bit, since there is a clear distinction between the Nexus universe, the Paperverse, 40k universe, ect. The goal for the players is to join together and form a team of elites and fight my characters one at a time.
Here's how it goes, players select four characters out of the party to form a team during combat. The team will fight one of my characters. If the players win, they have the option to recruit the character they defeated into their party. The players can have up to five of my characters in their party at a time, they will have to release one of my characters to recruit another. Also, my characters don't take up character slots in combat, so technically, players can have up to nine total fighters in combat.
Some pairings have great benefits, like Klinge and Valgus, they compliment each others skills. However, some characters hurt the party, such as Valgus and Caligo, the two will fight constantly and hinder the party's progress.
The enemies will ascend in difficulty as players progress.
Please use preexisting characters for this, but no god level characters, like stated before, they are gone in this rpg. I also advise that you give your characters strong abilities, otherwise you're gonna have a bad time.
