I mean even Canada is not as you say, there are Swat and armoured vehicals.

Guess how much those vehicles are being used in comparaison of the US, and in which situation they are used...

The comparaison is like day and night.

Alex you have started this thing by saying what you said to Ben...you best listen to Red and drop it.

Also, for what about ben, i have absolutly NOTHING agaisnt him. I do disagree about him on the context, but with no intention of hurting him in any way shape or form. What about 9/11, or the i don't know how many shooting that has happen in school? What about all of those things? The thing is: it's not JUST about one event, it's about the context that comes along with it!

The 9/11 event in New York make a perfect moment for the US Administration to make the infamous ''Patriotic Act'', which should be consider a crime. The US goverment love when this kind of things happen, because they give them cover for commit thing the population would not support otherwise.

The Reichstag, in 1933 caught fire. Hitler used it to justify his new law the transform Germany into a police state. Bush used 9/11 to justify the exact same things with the Patriotic Act. So now instead of stating how much my argument are ''flawed'', and how much i ''supposedly know nothing about the US'', i suggest that you might consider the threat of your own goverment, instead of blindly support them.

And Ben, look, i'm really sorry if you really take it badly, especially since it's not the point, but the consequense is worse to simply support the goverment. In these situation, i can understand the feeling to find safety, but the reality have shown us the it's not the goverment who will provide it. In the contrary, i'll go as far to suggest everyone to be carefull with this. Such situation will get worse, as long as will let them go.

Edit: I need to add: What about those hundred of thousand, if not more, of people who died in the Middle East, from the 90's, to the 2000's, because of lies? Do people really care? It seem like the world collapse when something bad happen in the US, but when the US is fully responsible for murder other country, it's fine? Since there's nobody from Irak, or other of these country here in this forum to talk about those situation, does that mean it doesn't count at all? All of this with the pretention of protecting people agaisnt an invisible ''boogeyman''? Is that it? Why should we in a society hide under the threat of ''evil terrorist'', when there's no terrorist? But the military increased constanly and police tension get worse and worse. We got many case of police shooting first, ask question later. Just this alone should be enough to raise few question of what really happening...

Oh boy, that's a bunch of stuff to read. But i'm sorry, i don't have the time (nor the patience) do to it. But for now, i'll say this: In Canada, our Police down have armor car, militarise police and constant ''terrorist'' threat trow down our throat. It's more quiet here. Maybe living in a police state is normal for you, especially if you're a US citizen, so you're so used to it that you might don't see the difference. But i can say one thing for sure: So much security, police and their attitude (situation of police violence happen WAY too often in the US) is simply not normal. Like i said, it may be a standard for you, but here....it look like a living nightmare of paranoia, constent fear trown to justify more police and abusif security.

Also, if you're okay with it, it proove that the US goverment succeed in their job, which is to make you belive that they want you to belive. Now you can simply shut down you're brain because the goverment is taking care of the situation for you. You can watch the mainstream media and go along with it. Don't mind the presence of camera security everywhere, don't mind the tank, police armor car and drone....Simply remember: Long live Big Brother!

PS: Even though i didn't read you're entire post, you're attitude towards me feel too agressive and provocative. I'm in no way going to support this sort of behavior, then pretend i'm pushing my ''politic''. I'm not here to promote Communism, but to warn the situation of the current-state of the US goverment. Saying i want to force my politic position make me feel like you're looking for something to blame. Just a warning, don't go too far...

You trying to make me look like i have something agaisnt Ben, or that i'm trying to be irrespectuous towards him, then have the nerve to say i'm ''egocentric'' amount other insulting comments. What are you trying to proove? Are you so obsessed that i'm a atheist, or i'm a Communist, so you feel the need to antagonise me? Why such attitude towars me if these aren't the reason? Do you really think your argument have more weight then those i have? What if you're the ''egocentric'' person? What can you say to justify your position to be more worthy then those of others, like me? Twisting my word and make me look like a evil person is what's going to far.
