Hello all!

Just wanted to share the good news! My YouTube channel (Lito290) has been picked up by a Gaming Network!

The Network is called "Necessary Gaming." I am to be a recruit director for a few months and must upload at least a video a week to retain my spot. Once I move on up out of the recruit position, I will be qualified to earn a premium director/partnership spot and start getting paid for my videos!

That being said, this is going to eat up a lot of my time. I already produce one video a week at minimum, but I will need to make this more of a priority if I want to get out of the recruit stage faster. This also means (mostly directed at Ben) That soon, I will not be able to have dual-comms unless I get them approved through the network (and it's a bit of a stigma if you do a dual-comm with someone outside of the network ). I will still be able to chose the games I play and chose what to talk about, so don't think I'm just up and leaving you; there WILL be subtle jokes and puns from the site whenever and wherever I can put them!

I always like reading stories... so tell me yours! How did you guys get to this site, get to be a sonic gamer etc.

Here's my story:

When I was a kid, my older sisters both had sega gamegears with copies of Sonic 2 (among other games. I didn't play those as much because the roadrunner game she had gave a scary image after every time you died, the lion king game's music scared me and the mickey mouse game was darker than the cartoons on TV). I played that game religiously, even though I couldn't get past the first boss without using a gamegenie (do you guys even remember those things?). After that, sonic took a backseat, but I never forgot the hedgehog and played the game whenever we could get the old handhelds out. We had gotten the NES, GameCube, PlayStation2 and other consoles in the meantime.

Then, when I was on vacation (about when I was 10 or so) We visited Maryland to see my relatives for the fourth of July. One of the kids brought their gamecube with Sonic Adventure 2: Battle. I instantly saw the blue hedgehog and flipped out. I played that game, went out and watched the fireworks, then went back in and played. My parents had to peel me away from the gamecube so we could go home. So, of course, I begged my parents to buy it for me. That's where my love of Sonic officially started. I've gotten every sonic game since then. Later that summer though, I was flipping through the disney channel and saw TAoSTH playing. I then realized "OMIGOD THERE'S A CARTOON FOR MY FAVORITE CHARACTER!" I could never find the cartoon again until I got on netflix, but I never forgot about it.

After doing more research about the sonic cartoons, I realized there was an alternate universe based on the comics called "SatAM" (and yes, I said satam instead of Sat-A-M). I got really into it. Then my school life got better when I realized I wasn't the only kid obsessed with sonic at my school. My newly found friends and I still talk about the cartoons and games today!

I was actually trying to figure out WHY SatAM got cancelled when I stumbled upon this site with all it's information and the Sea3on comic. I started reading the comic and finished the entire library in a week or two (yea, it was thanksgiving break ). Later, I realized there was a forum where I could voice my opinion and talk with other people on the site, so I joined! and here I am now!

So that's my story... what's yours?

So yea, I made my own game. Some of you have heard of it and seen it, but I can almost assure you the rest of you haven't. Basically, it's a platformer-shooter called: Proto.

Now the graphics are likely to change and the game is FAR from complete, but I think I'll call this an open-alpha for you guys. I need some feedback!

I want to go to college for videogame design (specifically Level Design) and I want to know what you guys think of the levels especially!

Is the level of difficulty increasing enough through the game?

Do you understand what to do with certain blocks and objects from the first time you see them?

what other factors could I modify to make the game fun?

Red: It almost looks like Sally, but puckering for a kiss or something.

Hey guys!

as you may know, I post videos to youtube. I find it to be an enjoyable hobby where I can express my love for video editing while entertaining people along the way. I have just concluded my first let's play of Spongebob Squarepants: Battle for Bikini Bottom and am readying up my next let's play.

As the Tittle states, my next let's play is sonic adventure (SHH! No one else knows about this! FUS exclusive!). Now I can't post the videos early on here (scheduled uploader prevents that) but I am letting you guys know ahead of time that I have ALL the videos done and ready to be published... after I add the intro to them. I'm getting that made by a friend and it should be done next week.

Anyway, the series starts in a week or two (will have the exact date later) and all the publishing of the video happens on saturday at 3:30 pm CST. The game is 24 parts long, so it should take about half a year to finish.

There WILL however, be certain things available for members of FUS (what, you think I was just letting you guys know about my series? That would be cheap and conniving... both of which I am, but come on!). I will bump this thread whenever a new episode comes out and I actually mention FUS in an episode or two of the Let's play, so be on the lookout for that. For the members of FUS I was wondering if you would be interested in me showing off some of your work (whether it be pictures, music, animations etc.) Inside of my let's play. Almost like giving you guys a shoutout.
