I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Greetings to one and all. I'm Brian "Sonic Whammy" Sapinski, a man of good times and often obsessive interests.

My main forte is game shows, but as I discovered the Net, it led me into the Sonicverse back in 1997, the same year I met my wife Andrea. We've been married since July 2001, and we welcomed our first daughter, Brianna, in January 2009 on the anniversary of our relationship.

For several years, I was a known Sonic voice in the fandom, writing several editorials on the state of the Archie comic. I've also dabbled in a little (self-inserted) fanfiction, as well as some artwork of various universes. I've been out of many of these loops for a while because of my busy life as a math teacher, but I look forward to when time is on my side again.

Anime Card Sharks - Your Opinions On Anime Across The Board

Hey guys. Wanted to share this here with you guys, since I'm sure there are anime fans a-plenty here and we're always looking for new faces.

A few of you may know that I, along with Proforce and our friends Francis & Trevor, have been hosting game shows on the anime convention circuit for 3 years now. We're about to start our 4th year at the end of this month at I-Con, and we're debuting some new shows there. For one of them, we need a lot of fan input on.

The game is Card Sharks. Contestants must predict how many out of a survey of 100 people responded a particular way to a survey question. Whoever is successful then tries to clear a game of 5-card hi-low in order to win.

We've completed just over a dozen surveys so far around various message boards and conventions, but we have plenty more questions we want to ask, and that's where you come in, guys.

In this link, you will find the current version of our survey form. It covers anime and con-related questions far and wide, sublime to ridiculous. Please come have a look, fill it out, and help us share with the world what anime fans really think about their genre.

And please, let me & Proforce know what you think of this. We're in this for the fans, after all.

One Life's Destiny

Hello to all.

Say, when I found my way back to these parts the other day, Red Sonic said he happened to browse through my old fanfiction series, called One Life's Destiny. I have some questions for him, but what the hey, why don't I get opinions from everyone.

Here's the story on fanfiction.net. Now, for Red (and the rest of you), I'm curious for a little input on a couple things. Maybe getting some will inspire me to find time to write again.

> Did I do any good? Anything in particular that I nailed, was way off on, etc.?
> If I were to continue this series, does anyone have any predictions on future events, things they'd like to see happen to anyone next?

Pulled Back In By Invitation

Man, how long has it been since I had any activity here?

This morning, I received a friend invite from Sonisal. While I don't know what inspired it (I'm sure I'll find out), it gave me enough curiousity to take a peek around these boards and see what everyone is up to. Gotta say, I see what the state of the comics and games (usually) has done to a lot of us, and I feel like we're less happy. Getting this invitation from a FUS newbie gives me hope though.

So what the heck have I been doing while I've been invisible here? Let's see...

We're soon to start Season 4 in the spring, and we'll be debuting 3 brand new games this year: Card Sharks, Match Game & Body Language. Along the way, we've got more interesting surveys to ask for Card Sharks, maybe even a Sonic question soon. Stay tuned.
