I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

About Me

Greetings to one and all. I'm Brian "Sonic Whammy" Sapinski, a man of good times and often obsessive interests.

My main forte is game shows, but as I discovered the Net, it led me into the Sonicverse back in 1997, the same year I met my wife Andrea. We've been married since July 2001, and we welcomed our first daughter, Brianna, in January 2009 on the anniversary of our relationship.

For several years, I was a known Sonic voice in the fandom, writing several editorials on the state of the Archie comic. I've also dabbled in a little (self-inserted) fanfiction, as well as some artwork of various universes. I've been out of many of these loops for a while because of my busy life as a math teacher, but I look forward to when time is on my side again.

Apologies for the self plug, but thanks to Proforce, I have seen what it is that makes MLP tick. Quite amazing, actually. And I have also seen the incidents regarding the changes to Derpy.

Interesting, only Bakuman? Yep, I see you here on the spreadsheet. Other than the general questions at the start, that's the only one you touched.

I had a feeling the big Sonic 50 DC kiss would make it in there. I scanned that right away for good reason.

And to be honest, yeah, the Furry Bomb thing too.

I actually love just about every pic in this video. They remind me of the love that we all know is there. Sonic & Sally... They... just... work.

Sonic Whammy, good to see a fellow friend of Robert's around. I was actually reading your fanfics not too long ago during my old job--which laid me off right before xmas.

First side note: Sorry to hear about your job situation. Another for the 99%, it looks like. Things will come around, though, I'm sure of it.

So my fics, eh? Mean, it's been 5 years(!) since I finished my last one. One of these days. But since you bring them up, I have a couple questions to ask your take about, but I'll go put those in Creative Corner. Maybe with some input I'll get them started again.

I have a couple of old MST3K episodes on a VHS in the attic. I purposely recorded favorites: The Magic Voyage of Sinbad, The Human Duplicators, I Accuse My Parents (this kid has NO clue) and The Brain That Wouldn't Die (Mike's first show).

Was actually having a MSTie discussion with my sister-in-law & her dad last weekend. Apparently he rents movies that feature A-list stars, but they were some of the worst films ever made. I don't have any specific names, but we thought they would be great material.

I miss that show now...
