@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Sonic The Hedgehog Satam: The Epic Review

17 September 2013 - 09:06 AM

Just a day before its 20th anniversary (over in Europe anyhow, I don't know about you guys in Murica!), I've decided to take a look at the beloved Sonic the Hedgehog SatAM cartoon to see just what all the fuss is about. Possibly my longest, and most subjective, video yet, I analyse the Sonic series I never watched as a kid to bring my opinion on the series to the table.

Here's the review itself to check out: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=j7YWrrSZfmY Please give me your thoughts on the review and if you guys have any questions about anything to do with this video, ask away and I'll try my best to answer them. I understand that not everyone is going to agree with what I say in the review and some of you may even find issue with some of my claims, be they praises or criticisms, but I'm totally fine with that, at least if it kicks off a decent debate.

In any case, I'll shut up and let you guys watch that there review! Regardless of whether or not you agree with me, I hope you enjoy watching the review! Until we meet again, have a great day y'all! :) - FrDougal9000

Sonic Adventure 1 Vs Sonic Adventure 2 Vs Sonic 2006

10 September 2013 - 08:25 AM

Okay, this thread is basically to promote a video I uploaded quite recently but I still think that it's a valid question nonetheless. How well does Sonic 2006 compare to the original Adventure duo? It's a hotly debated point but I'm in that crowd of people that considers 06 to be Adventure 3 in all but name given the shared elements between the games (different gameplay styles, epic stories, terrible English acting), though keep in mind that's just an opinion, not fact so if you don't consider 06 to be SA3, fine by me.

All the same, is Sonic 2006 as good or better than the Adventure games, which themselves have been battered somewhat by the ravages of time and other great 3D Sonics? Here's the link to my comparison video, if you guys wanna check it out: http://www.youtube.c...h?v=E63Iu_YO330

And now, I'll leave the rest to you guys to debate it out for yourselves. I'll pop back in whenever I wanna address a certain point that comes up in regards to either this topic or my video but I hope you guys can come up with an interesting debate! Thanks for reading and have a great day y'all! :)

The Chaotix - The World's Greatest Detectives!

27 August 2013 - 03:31 AM

Well, it's about time I put this up on a forum for all to see; for the last 8-9 months, I've been writing an episodic fanfic based on the greatest detectives in all of SEGA! There's not exactly much to say about it other than it's a little bit insane; a Lemony narrator (look it up on TV Tropes), all manner of fourth-wall breaking silliness and even a bit of Yaoi ship teasing! (thought nothing more than that, so don't worry 'bout it)

Here's the link if you wanna check it out: http://www.fanfictio...test-Detectives

I'm midway through Episode 06 of 12 planned episodes at the moment and I update (or try to, at least) once a week. And to address a number of concerns; yes, I know more than one character shouldn't talk in a paragraph (this only applies for the first four episodes) but I am planning to resolve that with a rewrite after I wrap up Episode 06. And I know some moments are a little amateurish but to be fair, it is my first genuine Sonic fanfic so I'm still learning as I go along.

In the end, just check it out and tell me what you guys think! In any case, thanks for reading and have a great day! :)
