Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

#197545 Sonic The Hedgehog: Edge Of Tomorrow.

Posted by Mike Arcade on 31 October 2014 - 01:07 AM

Greetings Freedom Fighters! Mike Arcade here!

Not sure if many of you guys remember me but as the post above states, I am also a contributor for Sonic: EoT, and have been working with everyone on this team for quite awhile, so I thought it was about time to reintroduce myself!  I just wanted to add onto what Bytor said, and tell you guys that we the development team are currently revising the above work on EoT to fit our new direction for the story and will be adding new edits and content soon. All updates will be marked in red and expect some format changes as we start making announcments and adding exciting new material.  After a special announcement, you'll be getting a sneak peak on how EoT works.

We here on The EoT Team not only work on Sonic: EoT, and I am proud to announce our group title...

We are The Free Scribes of Mobius, a group dedicated to creating imaginative and unique takes on The Sonic Series. Our goal is to create the best in quality, tasteful fiction and show just how much potential a story about a Blue Hedgehog can really have, we aren't bound by mandates either. Many of us have our own projects, yet work together as to share the spotlight.  It's about time to give you what you really want. From The Red Stranger himself...this is what awaits you on The Edge of Tomorrow!

___________________________________________

“All we thought of Mobius is about to change…”

In a time after the Fall of Robotnik, great uncertainty sweeps throughout all of Knothole - the utopia the Freedom Fighters hoped to restore is not all they dreamed it was…  Sonic, Sally and the band of young warriors are forced to deal with a challenging and changing Mobius they supposedly once knew. Sonic must face new competing villains that crawl out from the void, lurk in the shadowy streets, blitz through the battle field, and plot schemes of conquest from lofty high-rises above dystopian cities. New factions and species overwhelm our hero and his stalwart allies in an onslaught of competing goals, differing ideals, dissent to the crown, and political tensions.  Mysteries painstakingly  unveiled will  dramatically impact the reclaiming and restoration of Mobius, a world of supposed peace the Freedom Fighters thought to be only their own…

Edge of Tomorrow (EoT) is a direct spin-off of the beloved cult-classic cartoon, SatAM. This ambitious series starts right where the infamous cliffhanger with Snivley left off in the new episode Day after Doomsday, then spans years onwards in an episodic drama akin to the original show. Vastly re-imagined with more matured themes and an expanded universe, this new series aims to sate diehard fan and newcomer alike as it blends smoothly into the rich context of the original SatAM, expanding upon its original plots and characters, and grows with its now wider and more age-diverse fan base.  EoT gradually brings elements from various Sonic games, shows, and comics chronologically in one central canon; tables will turn, new adventures will dawn, lines of conflict will be drawn, and epic revelations like Sonic's origins and the history of Mobius will be slowly revealed...

#195471 How To Reintroduce Ari To The Archie Comics

Posted by Mike Arcade on 08 July 2014 - 11:09 PM

Personally, I think Ari should be in Archie Sonic considering SatAM Characters are up for use, I seriously expect to see Lupe and Dulcy at some point.

However recently I've reading Penders and Bollers work (why, i have no idea) and I discovered something very trippy. In issue 113 it introduces the backstory in Archie Sonic on how The Freedom Fighters met The Wolfpack, which sounds cool but the artwork isn't that impressive, that and I think it might have ripped off SatAM's episode of The Wolfpack, I'm not sure.

Anyway, at the very end Sally is contacted by other Freedom Fighter Factions, and on the very last page has artwork of Sonic, Sally, Lupe, and 3 VERY familiar faces, those being of the two other Freedom Fighters from The Doomsday Project and while the coloring is wrong, you can clearly tell that it's Ari!

Yes, Ari was ACTUALLY IN ARCHIE SONIC, but never mentioned by name and that is all we ever see of him. This topic's title literally fits now doesn't it?

#188935 Sonic #256 Preview

Posted by Mike Arcade on 10 January 2014 - 05:49 PM

F***ING BARAKA BLADES!!!!!! xD

When I saw that I freaked out, I was amazed and got hyped!!! Giving Sally some default weaponry is a good idea, ESPECIALLY if you lifted it off from Weaponized Mecha Sally in this case. Those Beam Blades were badass and I never would have imagined that she'd get them as a Mobian, reminds me of Sektor and Cyrax's Alternate Costumes from MK9. From this New World, all of our favorite SatAM/Archie Cast have gotten an upgrade to match The Sega Sonic Characters, Rotor is Stronger and Braver, Antoine got even better Sword Skills, Bunnie is still Bunnie and with her Cybernetics again, and Sally got BARAKA BLADES. I'm liking where the comic is headed and what other kind of stuff happens to The Knothole Crew. The Comic was great and the ending was quite smart, it's gonna be one hell of a ride and I'm looking forward to it!

#188162 Ian Flynn To Release Orginal Plans Of The Mecha Sally Arc Stroyline From 2012...

Posted by Mike Arcade on 21 December 2013 - 03:19 PM

THIS, this is something I'm looking forward to. I think it's really nice and awesome for Ian to do this, perhaps for some of us we can finally get the answers we wanted with the old world. At the same time I feel bad for the guy, he pretty much had to throw away 75 issues of planned content just because of all this bullshit. But him and the team will survive and thrive once they keep doing what they do and get their groove back. I got a lot of faith in them! Still, whenever this comes out I'm gonna be looking forward to it, count on it.

I've always wondered how Geoffrey would have turned out at the end of the story arc, I've had my suspicions but my guess probably isn't correct considering the content. As for Hershey, I'm placing my bets on her being alive but lost somewhere. Sally probably would have been turned back to normal, and I can't imagine how Endangered Species or The Road to 300 would have played out, guess we'll just have to remain patient till then.

#186909 The All-New Sonic Comic Universe!

Posted by Mike Arcade on 03 December 2013 - 10:37 AM

So pretty much someone would turn into this guy right? http://www.youtube.c...h?v=_o9IMJAcbjs

That is quite a disturbing thought process on AUs, which can really be taken both in a positive and negative light, the choice is simply ours on how we think of them.

#183743 What Would've You Done Differently?

Posted by Mike Arcade on 27 October 2013 - 05:04 PM

Hey it's cool man, that was a really tough question anyway. You make a point that if they started out with Early Sonic it would probably have been redesigned early on, well maybe as Archie Sonic started out more comical then anything else so that does fit Early Sonic from the pictures we have. If it lasted like our Archie Sonic did it would be quite a different but similar comic to what we have now. As for using the Early SatAM as a basis, I would have hoped that if they did use that with SatAM Nate and all it would have started out with the tone of SatAM or say Early STC so to speak. I think the comic would have been much different if they played it mostly straight from the beginning, but I am glad with what we got even if some of the stuff hasn't aged well.

Yeah Bollers did that with everyone, I don't see why he couldn't do that more naturally with the characters, some Out Of Characters Moments I can buy into but he took OOC WAY too far! Thus infamy was born, at least he got out while he still could.

#183721 What Would've You Done Differently?

Posted by Mike Arcade on 26 October 2013 - 11:51 PM

And my question is left in the dust.. :P

Whatever, that is a good question if Geoffrey was a self insert of Penders at the time, I can see that being possible. Personally I just always thought of him as a rival to Sonic after him and Knuckles mostly patched things up, he was the Comic's answer to Knuckles in a way, always butting heads with Sonic. Not only that, but he could actually compete with him in one aspect Knuckles didn't, being fond of Sally and vice versa.  Their conflict was quite a heated one and Geoffrey would have EXECUTED Sonic if he had the chance back in the day. You do have a point their Prince, I mean when did Sonic ever truly get a "take that" moment against Geoffrey? I mean I get St. John and why he would belittle Sonic as a kid way over his head that never takes anything seriously, but how old IS St. John anyway? I mean the guy was very self-righteous and always had to be in control and the leader as a way of living up to his father's legacy, though as misguided as he was I would have loved to see Sonic point that out as a counter to all his insults, granted Sonic is a flawed character himself and Geoffrey does have a point sometimes, but the wins over losses with both their egos was never balanced, it was only later when Geoffrey got with Hershey that the whole rivalry was dropped without a conclusion between the two putting aside their differences, they were just cool with each other (most of the time) after that. At least with the Dragon Kingdom Arc Sonic and Sally were in the whole thing with Monkey Khan was wrapped up for both characters.

I was quite young and too hyper as a kid to really understand Archie Sonic (not to mention only getting a handful of issues) and when I first saw Geoffrey I didn't like because he was against Sonic , but reading the comic throughout the past few years I grew to understand and like Geoffrey. I got why he was loyal to Naugus and wanted to make a difference, and reading the past issues really did make me root for the character in those later issues before the Super Genesis Wave. I'd like to see where he ended up if he returns, I'm not expecting him to work with Naugus in this new world but I would love to see that.

Also as for Another Character and Writer that serves Self-Incursion better you need to look no further then Nate Morgan and Karl Bollers, not sure on all the details but apparently Nate was essentially Karl and was given a backstory that made him important to the past of the Acorn Kingdom and the characters, but was really unneeded and could have just been given as extra backstory for Uncle Chuck. I'm not sure where Tommy Turtle fits into all this but it's been said that he's a Creator's Pet.

#182854 A Possible Solution To This Mess.

Posted by Mike Arcade on 12 October 2013 - 11:29 PM

It's a nice idea, but unlikely at this point and time. With Sega playing it safe with Sonic (which isn't a bad thing) it is unlikely that they would take a risk like that for a game, every other media on the other hand we have Archie Sonic and the upcoming show "Sonic Boom" to fill us on the closest thing to a "SOA Sonic Series" we'll get right now.

I mean that not to say it's impossible, just look at Megaman, that series has had SEVERAL different incarnations such as X, Zero, EXE, and so forth, those games all have a variety of success in them. You can also find different examples of series taking on different incarnations such as Spyro, Devil May Cry, and pretty much EVERY SINGLE Tokusatsu show ever made. Now if you were to ask me on how such a "SOA Sonic Series" could get started, I'd say a downloadable game made by a western developer (maybe the guys who made Hell Yeah! Wrath of the Dead Rabbit for example) and given creative control on what will go on would work well. Granted such an attempt was made on DMC and while it's been called good it wasn't really successful, if this game has a small to decent budget with them able to use any to all of the characters from the TV shows and Comics I'm sure we would get a crazy game worth the time and effort. Granted some of the characters might not be what you would expect or want them to be but it's a start to get the ball rolling on other projects. It's a small gamble but I think it would be worth it, that way one day sooner you would get that "SatAM-like game" you guys always wanted or something.

If it were up to me I'd revive STC and have a SatAM Remake in the works, but baby steps people, baby steps.

#181871 What Would've You Done Differently?

Posted by Mike Arcade on 27 September 2013 - 11:30 PM

A Reboot of the Comic without using The Genesis Wave. I'm probably one of the few people who liked The Genesis Wave, because of it we basically got Sonic 1 and 2 Adaptions. It was established enough and it made sense to me. For a Reboot I'd probably start it with someone opening it with a Prologue Speech (Zonic maybe?) or have a brief flash of an apocalyptic battle happening in the old world. Something maybe like how Mortal Kombat 9 did it, that was really cool! When one world ends, another begins...

As for the Reboot itself, establishing creative control is priority one. What would I do with it? Being that this is from Archie Comics and considering how the New Prime Zone is more Sega Based I'd have it so that it has it's roots from the Archie Comic and more close to SatAM, maybe we can have the SatAM Nate Morgan we never got? I'd have it balanced out the Archie/SatAM and the Sega, doing things pretty differently while at the same time making it recognizable to Sega Sonic fans. As for the characters Penders made I would probably use them, but for some characters I would replace them with Proxy Characters if they don't fit in well enough into the world. Maybe I'd even use some characters from the Sonic Bible like Johnny Lightfoot and Porker Lewis if possible. That's how it would go down if I was in charge of a Reboot.

#181090 Archie Vs. Fleetway

Posted by Mike Arcade on 12 September 2013 - 10:24 PM

Did somebody call me?

I LOVE Sonic The Comic, I may not have grown up with it (due to being born and raised in the US) but dear god am I glad I discovered it! The basic plot of it is that Sonic and a group of Freedom Fighters band together to defeat Dr.Robotnik who has taken over Mobius. Sound familiar? Oh it does and it shares that thing in common with SatAM and the Archie Comic, but other then that STC is WAY different then any of them could ever be. Like Prince said it takes more of it's basis from the Sonic Bible that Sega of America used on how they wanted Sonic in other medias around the world, there was even a Promo Comic made in the US that basically fits that Bible. So when Fleetway got a chance to adapt the newest Video Game Series they went for it, in fact I believe STC came out BEFORE Archie Sonic! It did for a fact come out before SatAM as they had a promo in one of the earlier issues for a Sonic Cartoon that would later become SatAM, it also probably predated AoSTH as well. So it has the honor of being one of the first comics made for the series, and THE first recurring Sonic Comic.

The plot goes much like the US Promo Comic, with an accident that turns nice Dr.Kintobor into the mad Dr. Robotnik! After some time Robotnik concludes that he must trap Mobians in his Badnik Robots and take over the World, but Kintobor's friend Sonic won't let him do that! Sonic now fights to prevent Robotnik from taking over and hopes to one day restore The Good Doctor, hence why he doesn't kill him. Sonic later on gets help from Tails, Johnny Lightfoot, Porker Lewis, and even Amy Rose, who later on becomes MUCH different then any of her other incarnations in the media. When Sonic explains his friends (minus Amy as this is before they meet her) about why he's blue, super fast, and knows Robotnik, The Doctor manages to control the Special Zone AI Omni Viewer and send them all 6 months into the future on Mobius, what they see is the world now officially RBR (Ruled By Robotnik). So Sonic and his friends form the Freedom Fighters, meet other colorful characters and enemies on the way, and have several adventures in order to free the world from Robotnik's hands.

The Series has A LOT of variety, not only are there several different stories throughout the book telling about not only Sonic, but Tails, Knuckles, and Amy as well along with several others, but they ALSO have stories based off of Sega Titles and Games released on the console during the time! Artwork in European Comics are usually well detailed much like Manga, and in STC that's no exception. Most of the Artwork is downright AMAZING to look at, not just the characters but the Worlds you get to see look like they are almost from a painting sometimes, it's truly a sight to behold! Though in earlier issues the way Sonic's quills are when his back is facing the panel is quite strange to say the least but that's nothing to really complain about. The writing in mostly all the issues is great, and the Sonic of STC is NOT The Hedgehog you know of in the games, TV shows, or other comics. He's not too nice and usually bad mouths his friends, some would call him a jerk but I think he's HILARIOUS. He's a Hedgehog with a REAL Attitude, he's also pretty sharp too as he also comes up with some damn good plans throughout the comic. What about Sally you ask? Well she's there, but she's not the Sally you know of in SatAM/Archie Sonic AT ALL as she's a very minor character with a little brother and only really shows up during the earlier issues so you're princess isn't here to save the day this time around. :roflmao:

They never do take things from SatAM once that aired either, the publisher pretty much let them do almost anything they wanted and Sega didn't do anything at all from what I know (unlike how they are always watching Archie Sonic today). This Comic was blessed with having very talented people in the business (with a young Mark Miller of Kick-Ass fame doing Streets of Rage Stories) such as Nigil Kitching, Richard Elson, and Lew Stringer who are very well known for being the long runners of STC up until the end. They do some of the best stories and artwork in the series. What about the Editors? Thankfully they were pretty easy going and let them do the stories they wanted, but they did add some input into the comic, GOOD input too. In fact the reason why Amy is so badass in STC is because the 2nd Editor wanted her to be a more positive role model for girls. How crazy is that, editors that didn't suck! Not only that, but most of the team actually PLAYED the games too, in fact other then being based on the US Promo Comic and Sonic Bible it takes MANY liberties from the games themselves, LITERALLY. You SEE levels and locations from the games, Sonic 1 and 2 are ACTUALLY CANON in this comic! But with their own take on how things run, a VERY different way of seeing them and my god is it AWESOME. Super Sonic in this series is well known for being a Psychotic Chaos Powered Monster that wants to destroy everything in his path! And there's a lot more where that came from.

Simply put I HIGHLY Recommend this Series to ANY Sonic Fan, it is VERY worth reading and even continues to this day Online, and STC-O even has the approval from the writers and artists of STC, they even CONTRIBUTE on the site too! It's got a loyal fanbase and while it's much smaller then SatAM and Archie Sonic's it deserves A LOT more recognition. As for how I feel STC stacks up against Archie Sonic I'll leave for another post after this one as this just got WAY TOO LONG.

#180794 No One Is Truly Satisfied

Posted by Mike Arcade on 09 September 2013 - 07:11 PM

No One Is Truly Satisfied, you don't say? Now when it comes to the Sonic Fanbase as a whole that is a complete understatement! Considering everything that has been said so far, this is my kinda topic.

1. There are seriously fans who are complaining that the new story arc will feature the SatAM Cast more then the Game Cast? I don't even know how to respond that. Honestly I don't mind which cast is shown more just as long as they are well written I've got no problems. I will say that seeing the SatAM Cast more in the main comic is a good thing though, I did like the Story Arc that started in 225 and how they featured the Game Cast more often back then but like I've (and Ian himself) said before it lasted too long. I did miss seeing those characters near the end but hey now they're back! I appreciate both casts and hope to see as many of both as possible, but for now having the SatAM Cast in the comics more for right now is good, if people want to see more of the game cast well there is Sonic Universe you know.

2. The Relationship thing has ripped apart the whole fanbase and is one of the sole reasons why it can suck. Now let me be clear though, in a SatAM/Archie setting it makes sense that Sonic and Sally are together, that's how it was and it can be on and off till the end of time, no one in that section of the fanbase would complain about that especially since a lot of SatAM/Archie fans worship Sally as a God. xD Now as an all rounded Fan of the series who's mainly into the games, Sonic and Sal in SatAM and Archie makes a LOT of sense to me, just so we can clarify that. Other then that there is no real official couples in any other media, I mean we have love interests (who other then Elise I have no real complains over) and all so whatever on that. You could argue Sonic and Amy in Sonic X and STC (the latter in that series makes sense) and for those series fine by me. Everything else and when it comes to fan pairings I leave it be. I've seen some that make sense and those that don't, but screw it if you think that is better then fine. The PROBLEM however is that people obsess with it way, WAY TOO MUCH. Seriously fans who complain about this subject should calm the hell down, no one should say so and so is The Master Race of coupling and screw all who disagree. Sega is NOT EVER going to have Sonic and Amy together officially, the only one that can say otherwise is Sega themselves. Those fans that want whoever together with Sonic in the Comic obviously don't know the background of the series and SatAM. I am just tired of this shit again and AGAIN, in fact I joke to myself that Sega will make a game character that is THE PERFECT MATCH for Sonic only for her to be even more free spirited then him and run off just to show the fans how silly this shit really is, I would pay top dollar to see that happen.

3. I don't mind long story arc's at all, but I will agree that the one started at 225 was a little too long, I don't blame Ian for this at all, once the lawsuit crap started kicking more into gear did his plans trip up and screw both parties for this happening to the comic. When it comes to Ian himself I have nothing but full support and trust in his work, at times it may not be perfect but it's still pretty good and at his best it's awesome. It was only because of this legal stuff did Ian have his first major misstep in the comic and it wasn't really his fault, I feel bad for the guy and the team, they really got cheated out (Especially in Endangered Species most of all). The fans can take it either way for all I care, I just hope nothing like this happens again in the future and may they use the characters however they want to their fullest extent.

4. I already talked about each of the SatAM designs in full detail so I'll keep it brief, other then Sally there isn't much of a difference in the new redesigns and most of them take more of a basis off of SatAM, and I don't mind Sally's new look either. Considering it's a "New" Universe there might be some very minor tweaks to the characters themselves BUT considering where the new Story Arc is going that's not going to be a problem guys. There's nothing else I can really say about them now, I like it and it's pretty cool.

I do like how you guys are thinking of ways on how to actually satisfy the Fanbase, I like Stranger's idea for a canon split thing going on there, don't know what you'd call it though. I did have a similar idea on showing a what if story in Sonic Universe showing how things would have turned out but it could be possible to make a whole comic out of it. Having some fan input would be good but considering the whole fanbase it would have to be HEAVILY regulated, I don't think I have to say why. I like the 3rd Option too but again, heavily regulated, I cannot stress that out enough. I don't think Sega has it out for the SatAM/Archie series as it is still being made today, but I can understand why they tend to breath on Archie's neck considering how the end of the last team's run went as well as some of their plans. Sega for the past few years have been playing it safe with the games and improving their Hedgehog Engine, to me it's all good but I do understand the need for a slightly more serious narrative, but considering how that went last time it's really obvious why they haven't done that in awhile. I understand completely and the new games have been awesome. That's not to say I don't want a Sonic Game that uses one of the other continuities, oh no I want that BAD. I don't think it will never happen but we are still a little far from getting such a thing especially after the legal trouble. Personally I always thought that if they are gonna make games based off of other series, for the Archie Comic it should be a Fighting Game first, with all the characters in the comic I can imagine a 2D Fighter from that.

#179847 What Would've You Done Differently?

Posted by Mike Arcade on 01 September 2013 - 01:20 AM

Hmm, I looked over the 3 issues where the Real Fiona first appeared again after all these years (used to own those issues), yeah I get what you guys mean, though to Fiona you must understand that she was in this prison for TWO years, with only the keeper robots keeping her alive, I mean other then digger her way out she didn't have much else to do other then think about why she wasn't saved by the people that were in the room, obviously that REALLY messed up her mind. Recent issues saying Sonic left her behind is either a retcon (unlikely) or Fiona's way of saying it, and while I can't really blame Sonic too much I can't blame Fiona either. Sonic and Mighty WERE under fire from a bunch of Swatbots, but it's not like Mighty's shell isn't reflective too, he could have used his shell to take out the Swatbots  with their own lasers, and Sonic could have had a window of opportunity to dash past them and save her before she got on the ship. Yes, Sonic didn't know her but he was in the same room as her and he should have obviously seen her trapped (I think he did but was more focused on Ray), if anything it looks like they forgot about her and were more concerned with Ray. If anything, I wonder why Fiona hasn't used Scourge and The Destructix yet to beat down Mighty and Ray yet (unless that's what they are gonna do in their next attack or something). Probably once she got out she heard about Sonic and recognized his description during her bounty hunter days, the supposedly "Great Hero of Mobius" that saves the day and fights Robotnik, leading her to ask herself "Why didn't he save ME then!?" in her damaged mind and blame him just as much as Mighty (or more so). But hey it's not like Sonic is so innocent either, he's barely tried to convince her (if not at all) to leave the Destructix and stop fighting on their side, hell it looks like he doesn't care because of how she hurt Tails. And while I understand that on some levels, it IS in a way his fault because not only did Tails get hurt and his heart broken once but twice, once from The Automaton and the 2nd time from The Real Deal. Not to mention he was only with her so that Tails can move on and we all know how well that ended up, which I'm sure if (or did she?) she knew about that it would be insult to injury. I blame Robotnik completely, but he's dead and Fiona needs to blame somebody, and I'm not saying it's ALL Sonic and Mighty's fault, but they could have done more. I mean they WERE kids at the time, which just makes this much more messed up.

That's how I see some of it, I can't argue on both sides for and against, I can only understand why. Not only that but we don't know what Scourge's relationship with Fiona was like before she turned heel, how they interacted with each other or what Scourge said to her, which may have played a factor in possibly blaming it more so on Sonic. I have my own view on it but as for EVE on the other hands and how she killed Billions, I don't know HOW Tails could know that but if he did what would that be like? I mean he WAS in the room when Sonic said that EVE should live out her life the way she wants to after all. You know what, that EVE thing is officially from me a BONUS QUESTION! :D

...wow, this post ended up longer then I though it would.

Nice man, geez I'm not getting a lot of answers here, I guess when I ask if Mobius was a Sally-less World I chased everyone off. Ehh I'll wait for one more response before I ask some more questions, But hey I'll call this now, ALL older questions are free reign just so as long as you say what the questions are.

We must have Sally. There is no other option!

As for the Genisis Waves, I would probably never write something that far fetched. In a perfect world I would have preplanned to where I'd never have retcon anything anyways. And if I did it would be a time travel story.

Jeez guys, lightweights much? But that's what I get for posting such a question in this forum, and NO I don't hate Sally, I like the character she's cool as hell. When I said I take all possibilities I MENT IT WITH NO MERCY ON ANYONE. Might as well answer the last 2 questions then.

Now for Question 2 that's a tricky one, I mean for one we have an Automaton Sally, I'd have it so that she would think that she IS the Real Sally and be shocked and devastated finding out the truth. You could do A LOT with that kind of plot, you could have this great sacrifice Auto Sally does and says her last words to Sonic, something like "I loved you as much as she did...". HOLY SHIT that would be mind blowing and so tragic! Now just because Sally died doesn't mean that she couldn't come back in some crazy way, but I think either way if a plot like that DID happen the comic would be more better after #50 then some of the stuff we got. Even if Sally DID die for good, she'd probably immortalized as one of the best characters ever or something, maybe that would have made Sega put her in as a main character in the games to balance things out or something. Bet you guys never though of that did ya! xD But hey, I love it that she's still around and I know ALL of you do too.

Question 3 I'll admit was sort of a trick question, because if any of you said that the first wave shouldn't have never worked or happened that congrads, you just killed Sally! So you guys win on that part alone, now as for what Wave I'd change, not sure if I'd change anything at all really. Yes we have the world going through a Soft Reset but is that really bad for the Universe of Archie Sonic? I know a couple of you are saying YES right now, the world was already a mess to begin with and was getting worse as the fabric of reality has been pretty weak lately in the comic, I theorize that had it not been for the Super Genesis Wave the end of the zones (and comic's main canon story) would have be near. Of course the comic would have been rebooted afterwards but you get what I mean right? Maybe it's just too soon to ask such a question for you guys with something that's so fresh in everyone's mind.

Alright here are 3 New Questions for you all, this time all about Foxes!

Question 1: How would you write Tails in Archie Sonic? What effects do you think these wars have on his mind?

Question 2: How would you write Fiona as both a good and bad guy? Now by write I don't mean write off the character, I want to see how you guys would transition Fiona from good to bad, and what she's thinking and feeling.

Question 3: What would happen if Tails knew about what happened to Fiona's past with Sonic? How would that go down with the little guy and what would he do?

I really like these questions so do you're best guys!

What would I do? Normally I wouldn't answer my own questions after waiting for you're answers but for this question sure why not.

So what would I do if I was Sonic, man what wouldn't I do? I'd aspire to be a chess master, anti hero, crazy son of a bitch!!! I'd make my own plans with the Freedom Fighters, I would help them to be the best they can be, and I would fight harder then anyone! If I see an opportunity to beat the living hell out of Robotnik I'd take it and capture the guy, with more then 7 emeralds all around I'd find enough to go Super, THEN I'd carry them out near Robotropolis (HIGHLY risky I know), Transform and raise hell in the city. Now of course ending it like that with his capture can lead to a WHOLE bunch of changes a consquences, such as if Eggman shows up having two Robotniks working together or fighting each other is gonna be a bitch to handle, I would admit my faults and take responsibility for my actions, not to mention trying to find and save Fiona to save myself guilt and a headache. I'd also try to learn as much stuff as I can, tech, magic, anything I can get my hands on. With Speed and Potential like that I would NOT let it go to waste. Fighting other enemies would be trickier though, for Scourge on the other hand I would either keep fighting and beating him down until I can convince him to join my side, OR trick him into being an Anti Hero. What would I do differently if I was Sonic? EVERYTHING. That's not to say Sonic's choices have been BAD or anything, just uh...he's messed up...like, a lot. I probably would too, who can blame him.

Now, how would I WRITE Sonic? Personally my favorite incarnation of the character (SANS the games) HAS to go to STC Sonic, so maybe I would write him similar to how he is in STC then? Honestly you can write Sonic in A LOT of ways if you really think about it. BUT I would show his flaws more, and him slowly realizing them. Maybe I wouldn't write him too differently in the Archie Comic, if anything showing his flaws and overcoming them in the series would be great! I have my own interpretations of Sonic, but for the Archie Series seeing more of his flaws and actually starting to slowly realize them would balance him out A LOT more in the comic, recently though he's been pretty cool. Just a bit more polish and he would be a better character.

I have more answers, but so do you guys too, so answer away and I'll share you mine.

#179716 Archie Sonic: Satam Redesigns

Geez, Robotnik is some much more menacing than Eggman.  :robotnik:

Oh really?

*Sonic X Eggman*

Honestly, while I found the SatAM Robotnik menacing (mostly due to Jim Cumming's bone-chilling performance), I don't think he was nearly as interesting as Eggman. Where Julian was just scary, Eggman had a lot more to his character. He was goofy and silly at times, but can still be a serious threat (sorta like the Joker in "Batman:TAS"). His depiction in both SA1 and SA2 were good examples of this.

It wasn't until "Sonic X" that the friendlier, "don't kill" depiction of Eggman appeared. Ever since then, Eggman has had an even goofier, kid-friendly depiction. There are still times where he poses a big threat to the world, like during the opening of "Unleashed" and mind-controlling Tails in "Colors", but they don't last that long.

Despite that, I still think the most terrifying depiction of Robotnik/Eggman was in Fleetway's "Sonic the Comic".

*Fleetway Robotnik*

Yeesh!  :weird:

Speaking of Eggman being intimidating, check this out...

Logi how could you forget putting that picture up?
