My reaction to page 14:

Lab Rats: A Sonic Fanfiction


Prologue



The workers were fleeing in panic as they heard the news. After years of bearing the worst, the facility's nuclear core was melting down. Fearing for their safety, they all attempted to escape, neglecting all possessions and technology behind them. At the same time one leading scientist, Dr. Steven Lord, desperately tried to find a solution to the problem.

"I told that huge Egg of a man that this would happen someday!" He said. "But of course, he's as stubborn as a mule, and so look where I am now!"

As he searched near the core chamber, he was wearing a full body suit to protect him from radiation. Eventually in one of the main tubes, he found a dead rat.

"I knew it! If he wasn't so cheap enough to hire an exterminator-"

One of the lights flared, shocking Dr. Lord. He quickly ran off towards the exit, when he passed by a one of the animal holding rooms. Inside were a hedgehog, a red fox, an echidna, and a cat, all escaped from their cages.

"Oh crap, I thought they got all of the test animals!"

As he ran towards the door however, a small explosion occurred from the nearby circuit board. The explosion started a small fire which blocked the door. Not knowing what to do, Dr. Lord fled the facility.

The animals escaped the room through a nearby air shaft. After exploring though the shaft, the animals exited into the main testing lab. Another circuitry explosion occurs, knocking over several chemicals onto the animals. They are also exposed to a seductive, and run all over the room looking for an exit. The seductive kicks in and the animals fall asleep.


"There was a dead rat in the core, sir,"

Some days later, Dr. Lord is talking to Dr. Ivo Kintobar.

"No wonder that facility went under. Ah well. There was no point in it anyway." Ivo says.

"But sir, we have created so many great things through the facility! What would make you think that-"

"Robotics, Steven."

"Robotics?"

"That's where the true science exists. I won't be wasting anymore time with silly little animals."

"But, sir--"

"No buts, Steven. You are being promoted to Engineer. Return to the robotics facility."

"...Yes sir."

Dr. Lord walks towards the door, then stops.

"Sir?"

"What know, Steven?"

"Some test animals were left behind and-"

"Don't worry, Steven, what's the worst that could happened happened to those creatures?"

I felt that was stupid too. Well now I'll probably spend the rest of my life hoping for games like God of War: Spongebob Edition, Resident Mario, My Little Duke Nukem and Earthworm Jim, and Kirby and GlaDOS' Candy Land Adventure!

All of these, terrible terrible movies.

I enjoy the Critters films, but I agree with you on the others. Mainly because they are horror films, but 1 in particular is just stupid.

You have proved yourself worthy RedMenace.

Funny thing is, you can find barley anything on the show online! No episodes, no toys. Only a few Let's Plays of the Nintendo games, and none of the Japanese episodes. (The series had 7 more seasons in Japan.)

While I don't watch current anime, I can say that this is my favorite anime show:

CRITTERS VS GREMLINS!!!

Yeah, I saw it advertised. Actually its Gremlins 2. The first one was played last year during their Haunting Hour. It's for Halloween. They may have also played the first one earlier. I can't remember because they were showing Free Willy and Free Willy 2 at some point, and they advertised it then. I had to watch them because those Free Willy films had an impact on my childhood.

You know what this means?!

GREMLINS VS. PONIES!!!!

Some of my favorites include Chris Rock, Jeff Dunham, and Jon Stewart.

But my all-time favorite comedian is... Demetri Martin.





Good Lord, he's funny.
