As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
I'd also probably have it revealed that being roboticized can be undone basicaly via mindset. In Sonic Conversion, after Uncle Chuck gets his freewill back, he says something about his body coming back later. I think it would be cool to see Bunnie's robot parts cracking and her finnaly getting her real body back. I got the idea from a book called "You Are Special" by an author by the name of Max Lucado.
LOL! I came across that when looking for refrence pictures of Sonic. I remember when they first opened up a Sonic drive up here I was adament it had something to do with the hedgie.
In my fanfic, Mobious is the inside of the earth (hallow earth theory) http://en.wikipedia....Hollow_Earthand the Mobians are the decadents of animals the Nazis experimented on. I've gotten a lot of flak for using Nazis as the Mobians' "creators" but so much about them just fit the storyline...especially the hallow earth setting. Some say that creating a race of biped animals is beyond Nazi technology but they did break the sound barrier before the Americans did; and when you write a story with blue taking hedgehogs, reality kind of goes out the window. Apparently the Nazis were highly against experimenting on animals, but maybe not all of them were and maybe the ones that went to the earth's interior were not. All the stuff in Sonic X with the Space Colony Ark just screams Nazi science to me. Maria looks suspiciously like the Aryan poster child. I'm sure that's really just a coincidence when Sega came up with her design; but in my story, I'm using it to my advantage.
The main thing that frustrates me about SatAM is the fact that these animals are cleary capable of using computers and technology, why don't they invent guns and firearms and give Robotnick/Eggman a good spin dash to the face? Okay, I know that would be a bad idea for a kid's show but the Transformers were aimed at kids and they had guns...I think. I never watched that cartoon.
a.) Yes, the Transformers did indeed have guns; not terribly realistic guns, mind, and they fired lasers instead of bullets, but pretty clearly guns nonetheless. Heck, Megatron transformed into a gun in the original cartoon. b.) Honestly, making guns isn't as easy as you'd think. They may have had the knowledge required to make them (and given that even the oldest among the main group was a teenager, there's no real guarantee they even had that), but I rather doubt they had the resources. Remember "Super Sonic"? Remember what a big deal it was that they could make a water wheel only capable of fueling a single lightbulb? True, they could try to capture those resources from Robotropolis, but given that they already have bombs and other explosives at their disposal, I doubt it would be a terribly high priority.
I never watched Transformers so I would not know. I never watched SatAM either as a kid. I remember sitting down to watch a Sonic cartoon and it had a dark feel to it but I didn't have the attention span to sit through it. The Sonic franchise is very new to me. Maybe it's becuase I've grown up around guns and firearms and my parents are avid NRA supporters. and was taught basic gun safety and young as three. I always thought Sonic and his friends (with the exception of Tails of course) were supposed to be adults because they seem too socialy aware but then when I was a teenager, I only had a teenager's body. I still had a child's mind. I was basically one of those kids Temple Grandin talks about as having to skip adolesence and go straight to adulthood. Okay, a little off topic there so let's get back on topic. If they did have bombs and exposives they sure did not use them very often. I have a sketch somewhere of me as my Sonic OC holding a glock to Robotnick's face and Sally jumps in saying, "No! No! We're contractially obligated to keep stalling for another season and two hundred comic issues!" The ewoks from Return of the Jedi, which is what the Freedom Fighters kinda remind me of, were better at protecting themselves. Maybe if there ever was a third season we would see more of the explosives.
Now that I think about, it SatAM and Underground kinda has an anti New World Order feel to them. Espicaly Underground. If they had guns or weapons I somehow dobt it would still have that feel to it.
Probably combine the X and SatAM continuities (maybe I'd put Underground in there as well). I'd go the plot of the fanfic I am writing where Mobious is the interior of the earth (hallow earth theory) and the Mobians are the decadents of animals the Nazis experimented on. And I'd probably get my butt kicked by fans but there's a reason I'm not doing the comic.
