As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
I'm not really new to FUS... I've just been gone for an extremely long time (several years... maybe between like 10 and 15 years or more I suppose?). Yeah, I guess it has taken something like the possible death of Sally and Hershey and a reboot to get me to come back *sigh* I guess I'm here mostly just to find some support. People who disagree with me can be found easy enough, but I figure that if there is anywhere I could go in the fan community to find support, it would be here. I might not have been directly involved with FUS for a long time, but I am glad it is here and glad I can still find people I can get support from.
Anyway, I do not like this whole death thing in general... to put it very nicely. However, there has already been discussion on that topic, and there thankfully seem to be other people who feel at least somewhat like I do. Sometimes I feel like I'm just standing almost alone on this, but it's good to see I'm not. Thank you to those of you who agree.
Now, what I want to ask in this topic is if anyone agrees with me about the reboot. I'm looking for support.
My view is they are taking what was a wonderful, meaningful, inspirational, and endearing childhood past and storyline for Sonic, Sally, and the others and replacing it with a half-hazard, accidental meeting. Where are the endearing qualities of that compared to what they already had? It's just pitifully sad. There are other things I don't like about it, but that is the main thing for me.
Does anyone here agree with me? Yes, if you disagree, you probably feel the strong urge to encourage me to give it a chance and tell me how it's really a good thing for this or that reason. If you absolutely *must* just send it to me in a pm, but in this topic I just want to hear from those who agree. I really just am looking for some support. Thank you for your courtesy.
Also, if you agree with me about the whole death thing, I’d be more than glad to hear from you on that too in this topic. Please, rant away about it!
