As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
Fiona was the most boring person ever as a "good guy", the relationship made no sense at all before Fiona betrayed him, and just because Sonic had Tails in mind when he dated Fiona doesn't mean he didn't like her at all. It is amazing in this that Fiona betrays them, and Sonic is called the jerk for it. Instead of saying "nobody was perfect" it goes straight to "this is all Sonic's fault and he's a horrible monster."
If you blow a Robian up and put them back together, they're not alive anymore. Already established in the comic and we ALREADY KNOW SHE'S COMING BACK.
Yes, but you seem to forget the cover says it'll be an explosive ending that'll rock Sonic's world. Well, her getting blown up certainly would do that. And besides, since Flynn already had Sally's getting blasted with a turret reversed with a Deus Ex Machina time 10 second reversal, who's to say he won't try something like that again should that happen?
Because they already told us she's coming back. Why would Archie have a four month cliffhanger of "is she dead" when they specifically told us she's not dying? Explosive DOES NOT MEAN LITERAL EXPLOSIONS.
You know what, go read the issues again. You clearly have no idea what happened in them.
The BEM had to round up all the Robians, not just shoot a beam at the planet. That was covered in a backup story where every Robian suddenly DISAPPEARED, then some time later suddenly were found in a field deroboticized. This happened, and Eggman wanted to get rid of the immunity the then-Robians all had because of it.
Eggman thought that Genesis could reboot the BEM immunity away, but he failed. He fired the world roboticizer thinking it would work (although we knew it didn't because he failed at the end of Genesis) and he realized his mistake when he and Sonic were still unchanged. (Also half the world's population would STILL BE MILLIONS UPON MILLIONS, but that is irrelevant because he thought the immunity was gone.)
If you just go through the characters, you can say "were they deroboticized by the BEM?" If so, they're immune. If not, they're not. BEM deroboticization only happened twice, so it's not hard for people to do that on their own without Ian having to list every single character in the series.
Nothing was changed. You keep saying the problem is he took creative liberties, but the only real problem is you can't even remember the issues you're trying to reference. You don't know what happened, or what the rules are, but you're still trying to say he broke them.
He's in the car because it's a car racing game. If you really need an explanation, you can say that Sonic likes being the fastest at everything (as Sonic Riders said) or you can say it's to make the competition fair. But at the end of the day, it's because with this kind of game you just have them use neat vehicles. I doubt anybody would want a racing game where Sonic, a character whose platforming gameplay makes him about three times as fast as any of the other characters, played entirely differently and could easily win every round.
...Snively still got taken out in a dramatic heroic end. Really, how much bigger did you expect? He played four armies like a fiddle. He nearly squashed Dr. Eggman, and got the love of his life back. He proved that he had the strength to do more than run away (certainly more depth than the show gave him,) he showed off his love of family and his pettiness. He got an entire four issue arc just dedicated to celebrating the relationship between him and Robotnik before it ended. And then he lost... which obviously, he was always going to do. The only way to have made this any bigger was for him to have defeated Eggman and taken over the Eggman Empire, and really. Did ANYBODY think that was what was going to happen?
Don't read the Sonic X series. There are a couple gems in there, but for the most part it's really bad. Sonic Universe is a good read, and StH works nicely too. If you just want a relaxed start, go with the early goofy stuff. No problem for answers.
I guess it doesn't make sense, as that text saying he was joking seems to be invisible. Amy and Tails say "you must be joking." It is a very subtle phrase which means "are you for real", and is apparently very confusing. No one thinks anyone is actually joking, and he certainly never says he is.
I don't think this is a complete turnaround, in any case. Sonic's fairly unshakable, but not ALL his bravado and smiles are genuine. Especially with Tails and Amy, at some points he's just putting on a brave face for others (just like when he broke Eggman back in 200.)
Antoine is clearly still alive, how are people getting fooled by this
Also if you want to read about the heroes winning, you should try 167, 173, 174, 177, 188, 196, 198, 200, 206, 207, 211, 214, 216, 218, and 229. I find it hilarious that people bitch about how easy things are for the heroes while simultaneously bitching that they get too hard a time. Amazingly, the number of main characters Ian has killed off up to this point?
The only party I blame more than Ian for this madness within the Sonic comic is Sega. They can deny it all they want, but I'm willing to bet almost anything they ordered Ian to do something drastic to Sally.
They didn't, and they haven't denied anything: Sega hasn't said anything, because they do not care in the slightest. Ian's said multiple times (not JUST now) that they give him no direction with the Archie cast and that he could kill them all if he wanted. Just because he has one bad thing happen to a character does not mean that he hates the character when he's been building them up for FIVE YEARS (his entire career!)
Where's any real evidence that either of these are slightly possible?
Also, Queen Aleena in Sonic Underground was a terrible plot point depending on a stupid prophecy that only made things worse. Good god we DEFINITELY do not need to go back to the era of stupidly important people and events being kept secret even though they'd fix the entire series just so they can be revealed with more DRAMA.
