@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Topics I've Started

Does Anyone...

03 December 2011 - 01:37 AM

This is probably just me and my haywire emotions, but every time i watch SatAM or play the old mega drive sonic games, i feel this immense sadness and nostalgia and almost cry. It's because it's so sad that SatAM and the mega drive were the highest points of Sonic's franchise and SatAM ended so early in its prime. Does anyone else feel sad or cry because the greatness that was sonic and SatAM is long gone, having slim to no chance of coming back, or that seeing SatAM or the third season on the television once more will probably never happen, or knowing that Ben Hurst being gone with all of his possibly greatest work just distant memories? again this just might be my haywire emotions or being very obsessive about sonic. I miss Mr. Hurst

Hey! I Have An Idea

26 September 2011 - 08:57 PM

Hey everyone, its me. I know im not that famous on the boards nor the most popular, believe me, i want to make as many friends on FUS as possible.
Anyway, despite the year coming to end, i want to something for Sonic's 20th, so I was planning on making a youtube, webshow-esque series that is dedicated to sonic, but will still have other elements. I want to call it Super Sonic Specials or Sonic News Network as a homage to the comics or the wiki. I know there are a lot of these type of things out on youtube, but i want mine to be special, you know with enthusiasm, comedy, and special effects. So im here to ask, will you guys join me in this project. I want writers for a script, scenes and etc, i also want you guys to make segments to go in each episode. I had the structure for each episode, its still in development so fill free to correct it the way you see fit. it goes like this:
1. I introduce the show with a oral table of contents or summary.
2. recent info or news on the sonic games
3. recent info on the comics
then we could give short reviews on some sonic games
reviews on the comics
then i want this moment in the episode called "The SatAm moment of the episode" where we feature a moment of an episode voted by ppl from FUS or youtube.
after to finish up the show we give a bit of info on a unrelated topic, and a review of an unrelated topic voted or requested by FUS or youtube.
Lastly I would conclude the episode with a few words about Sonic and SatAm. Tell everyone to keep SatAm in their hearts and always help SatAm be remembered. Then tell everyone to stay Way Past Cool.

I know its a stretch but with cooperation we could really make this work, i would like to make each episodes at least 10 to 15 min long. With proper planning and time scheduling we could make that work. Or we could make a shortened version for youtube and with the blessing of FUS, we could put the full version on FUS. I know this is strange and seems hard, but like everyone on FUS, we are very big fans of Sonic and we all have dreams, so i wish you guys to share this dream with me. I need all the help i can get. again please fill free to comment as you see fit, but not too much negative comments (im looking at you puffin)

Is It Me Or...

12 September 2011 - 09:03 PM

Is it me or in the Archie comics, what the characters talk about and mention in 25 years later and 30 years arc are actually coming true in the more recent comics by Ian Flynn. For Instance in issue 135, Dimitri talked about how he didnt give Lien-Da the power of the legion after he last encountered Eggman, and in 30 years later, Jacque, Bunnie and Antoine's son mention an elemental war... AND The Ixis Resurgence. I looked up what resurgence and it means a rising again into life, activity, or prominence. There are also clues and hints in dialogue if you look back into it. I know you guys are probably thinking that this guy is reading way into this, but it really caught my interest. Oh well thats what class of Honors English does to ya. lol

Generations Ending

12 September 2011 - 03:56 PM

Personally, i am psyched for Generations, and i thought of a pretty cool ending to it, although it will never be and i wanted your honest opinion, fill free for comments and changing it to make it better.

Sonic had just beat the Time Eater and both Eggmans with his classic counterpart. However Eggman had one last fail safe and activated it. Sonic and classic are saying their goodbyes and Modern left to his time. As he went through time to his correct period, something felt different in a way. He fell into what he thought was green hill zone, but there were huts and tress everywhere. Someone walked up to Sonic, but it wasnt Knuckles, Amy or Tails. It was Sally Acorn, and she reached out to him. "Are you alright?"
"who are you?" Sonic asked.
"My name is Sally Acorn,"
"Where am I, it seems so...familiar?"
"This is Knothole village, me and my freedom fighters are going to Robotropolis and attack one of Robotnik's factories." Sally said.
"sounds like fun. Mind if i join in," Sonic said. Sally helped Sonic up and took him to see the rest of the Freedom Fighters.
it would fade to black then it would say, To Be Continued in the Next Sonic Adventure

Here's An Idea....

07 August 2011 - 01:59 AM

I know that there is a small chance(And i mean SMALL) that SatAm will come back on television, But what if FUS was to make a WebShow out of season 3. I know there is a comic in the works of it and dont get me wrong i love it and always stay updated, but what if the people that make the comic put what they have into an internet cartoon, For example, every new episode would be released on saturday mornings to keep SatAms spirit, and each chapter of the comic could be like one to two episodes, if not shorter or made into seperate episodes. That way FUS could introduce SatAm to new fans, and keep SatAm alive, and perhaps, get Sega to spot it and see how popular it would get.(Even though that probably would not happen). If you agree post your opinion, if not post it anyway. It could work and It can be a reality, there just has to be will and hope
