As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
Hearing White's voice for Sonic again is going to be a thrill, though I don't know how enthused to be about "Sonic in the real world"...I just prefer Mobius. Then again, if the guy does a good job with it, then it's all good, anyway, so maybe he'll have some unique ideas that bring something fresh to the table.
It will definitely be on planet Mobius.
I hope to bring a fresh spin on things! That's probably the only way it will find an audience being a live aciton flick. The only thing I must keep safe and untouched is the Sonic character. He's universal and if I tamper with that, the movie is DOA. I have to go back to who he was in the 90's and stick with that!
I think it's exciting to have two different approaches to a Sonic fan film! SatAM fans, game fans, hardcore fans, and casual fans will have two films that will cater to them so it's win-win. Those that want something classical yet fresh and action packed will go with my film. Those that want a 2D animated return of the great SatAM story with a new and exciting approach will Rich's film.
I can't see it as a competition since it's two different films that will each find it's audience. Neither film is going to attract the fan base as a whole and that's a fact (well, that's a fact with all films I guess!). Rich is doing his thing and I shall do mine!
