@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

In Topic: Satam Fisher The Bear

Big names being Becky the Hedgehog and T-Bird.
Becky is one of the most popular, well-known artists in the Sonic fandom.
T-Bird is a writer on TSS and is responsible for putting the fan base in contact with Jun Senoue, and basically being a great Sonic Merch whore tongue.gif

I wasn't meaning anything above big names in the fan base lol, sorry if you thought I meant more.

Sorry to have kept on the quiet side lately guys, this project is still alive and well smile.gif
What I am doing at the moment is making it a community project that people can get involved in on all levels.
Actually the scripts are half-done. Key plots are known. The first episode during Sonic Boom, an episode where he bumps into his estranged wife, an episode explaining Fisher's de-roboticisation in Blast To The Past, an episode on the events of The Doomsday Project and the two part special of him tracking down his daughter in the start of SatAM's unmade Season 3 (Being as accurate as possible to the known information from that season).

Community areas;
Main Theme: T-Bird and RockAngel

Voice Acting: Still searching for artists (Sally and Fisher cast)

Backgrounds:
ROBOTROPOLIS
Main aerial shot of Robotropolis (Taken by Becky the Hedgehog)
Outside main power station dome
Inside Prison Cell corridor
Shot from inside lift, looking up at open hatch
Inside power station dome, facing huge mainframe computer (Balcony walkway above large ground floor)

Animation Cells:
ALL NEEDED

As time goes on, more will get done and things will move forward more rapidly. The main thing for me is the backgrounds which need to be 2304 x 1296 in size, but they can be just lineart if people don't want to colour something that large. My colouring skills are great but my ability at drawing lineart is terrible.
If anyone wishes to help, please do. I already have some big names in the community involved and everyone will get equal credit. smile.gif

Fisher? He went on to become a Cosmos-scaled phenomenon. Or hadn't you heard?

Oh yeah ;p

Cat? I think he was roboticized, wasn't he?

That guy. Yeah that's him. What happened to him? Was he in fact roboticized?

It was implied in the episode but never seen. It was what made Sonic Boom so memorable, but it's uncertain ending for Cat is with good reason (As is the fact we never see robot Cat). After discovering Robotnik's plot of robots copying human complexity (as well as Robotnik's plan to catch Sally in the Dark Swamp), he sends out an emergency communication by cracking into the prison computer (A skill not shown in Sonic Boom). His communication is picked up by the Southern Freedom Fighter movement, who sends in an agent to retrieve the information despite the possibility he's walking into a trap...
This story is picked up in SatAM Fisher, Episode 1: Bear Boom.

In Topic: Some Questions About Nicole

06 March 2010 - 12:28 AM

There's answers out there wink.gif Soon you will know biggrin.gif

One thing that is apparent is that Nicole technology is notoriously hard to come by. Parts for the Roboticiser are also nigh on impossible to find (Forcing Sonic to give himself up to Robotnik to get a vital component out of his own roboticiser), and while it is a somewhat tenuous link it seems to match that the majority of highly advanced technology would come from Mobotropolis' head of science and new world leader - Dr Robotnik. Having said that, the project would have had the okay from the King as Sally ends up with the computer and not Robotnik. It is therefore presumably designed as a modern new-wave PDA with AI, and likely that AI technology was again utilised (And dumbed down) for the Swatbots. We already see rudimentary AI in Mobotropolis when the flying swatbots tell Sonic and Sally to have a nice day (Blast To The Past Part 1), Nicole is likely a modified enhancement to this program which was developed as an advanced Ask Jeeves. Robotnik has no use of this technology now he's in power, but the rudimentary AI of it is clearly in the Swatbots (When Sonic breaks the Swatbots, no animals come out which means they are all machine).

Nicole from the future may work in Archie, but in SatAM we have already noted that Nicole doesn't know anything about the Dark Swamps (Until she downloads the maps from Robotnik's mainframe in Sonic Boom) and her information about The Secret Scrolls is woefully incomplete. If you were to send such an advanced machine back to yourself from the future, you'd make sure to put all the useful information into it already. Otherwise you're sending back a nice piece of tech with no real purpose.
