As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.
Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.
No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!
i've been thinking that one of the main ways to save he comic is to get sega to raise the main age demographic to that of a regular comic in terms of writing quailty and content. the current sonic fanbase doesn't give one shits about the current comic and i don't think kids should read comics because of the way the business is run, the majority of the comics demographic seems to the be older satam/game fans and interest seems to be increasing for satam thanks to the nostalgia critic and other web 2.0 sites. sega should git rid of the comic from archie and give it to another company to market it to a wider audience.
the comic has survived this long thanks to the older demographic and it seems to be losing it to month after month of manfights.
i just want to give you a series of questions and i want to ask the same question to everyone coming from from ian's forum and to get answer's from everyone.
are you sick of stories that consist of just a bit of exposition then fighting for the rest of the issue?are you sick of the fact that the story progression for the comic is the pace of a snail? are you sick of what should be major character changing events such as knotholes destruction and the echidna genocide glossed over with no real discernible change to the cast, let alone the other "minor characters" who have bit the bucket? are you sick of the main cast being reduced to 1 dimensional weapons who just spout one liners?
if you had the choice wouldn't you rather have stories that are driven by the characters, that changed and actually changed the cast? stories that advanced the story faster, ones with heart and drama? wouldn't you rather have deep complex three dimensional characters that actually had something meaningful to say?
i realize that the answers might seem obvious and i don't want to seem mean or forceful with you. but the reason i'm saying this is that am worried about the state of satam/archie and the fanbase as well, i'm very worried the fan don't really care about what happens anymore.
i hear allot talk about richard's so called " terrible writing skills" and would like to judge them for myself. i'm wondering where i can get a copy of his script for his film(i think it's the first draft) or any other material he wrote in the past .
i'm not expecting drazen quality writing and hoping it's not gonter or chris chan quality either.
