@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Topics I've Started

We'll Meet Again One Day.

22 June 2010 - 07:38 PM

I might as well take off again because I don't think I can improve the show any further without a lot of money.

I gave Chief a farewell message. I think enough of us have been around the block to know better by now. Like the show and life each of us has our wins and losses.

If the show comes back in some way that's the day we can all be a winner.

Sonic Satam Synopsis Guide

13 June 2010 - 04:32 PM

Chief, that lazy .....

I remember when Quin as Nique wanted to complete the synopis's a long time ago. In my spare time I wrote brief summaries and some notes about the show. Like plot elements that do and don't work.

If I ever get a chance again I might go more in depth but the box set is out. I wouldn't mind a review saying you at least read it.

My Sonic SatAM Synopsis Guide

I was planning to write one or two more fics. But I don't know when.

Whatever It Takes For The Series.

13 June 2010 - 04:23 PM

Imagine owning the show and being able to do whatever you wanted with it how would you continue it? After all this time is it still worth the effort?

If I had it today I'd still clearly ask Ben to be the main writer. There's no question many of us here would want first dips.

The biggest problem is the ownership and costs. It might be easier to start your own series and/or exclude Sonic from SatAM. But we've had the discussion that this isn't really possible.

I know Ben wanted to make a story that sizzles, but after everything that's been out I think we need a way to redefine it. There's no question Sonic is the main character and will live throughout the series, but I'd like to come at it a way never done before.

Ben also spoke of wins and losses that gives it a more realistic feel. If you compare it to real life how do things really play out? How can we play it out in a way that hasn't been done?

If I ever became extremely wealthy I'd buy the rights to Sonic simply to resolve these issues. I'd also like to write the first Seaons 3 Episode that might help redefine fiction.

I know it's all only a dream right now but we can always hope it will happen within a year, five, or even ten. Before too much time passes. You just can't wait.

June 2010's Episode - Dulcy

13 June 2010 - 04:08 PM

Dulcy, a young female green dragon has dreams urging her to return to Dragon's Nest. Before hand Dulcy and Sonic complete a mission in Robotropolis.

What is Dulcy's resolve going to entail? Will her loyalty remain to the mission against Robotnik or is this the time to remain at home away from the war?

We all know Dragon's powers are hunted by friend and foe alike. Will Dulcy survive?

Topic Evalutions

06 May 2010 - 11:30 PM

Post here what you think are the best topics of FUS of all time new and old. I guess we can exclude references like Gaming Details.

Somebody has to come along and make a topic about topics. You might mention one somebody else is unaware of.

For me, 70% of the SatAM Forum is good.

Like your five best, worst, etc.,.

I'll post more later.

Edit-yeah I noticed the evaluations is the title. It's 12:31 A.M. on the Pacific Coast here. I think I need to get to bed now. Also, if I ommitted something I think I had a good reason for it?
