Oh, and I don't mind criticizing "professionals" if their work looks worst than my "amateur" work. I believe it takes more than a title or certificate to say how much of an artist someone is.

Now excuse me while I go bleach my eyes and brain and go back to pretending that blasted thing ever existed...

An update but not about art. About myself.

I haven't mentioned it here but the reason I've been inactive and without new art is because I hurt my back some weeks ago. Had to go to doctor twice in a lot of pain to be injected for it and given pills that put me to sleep in the evenings. I got a very nasty and almost constant muscle spasm right behind my shoulder blades and anything makes it hurt, I even have to walk slow and softly because I will feel it in my spine. I like to joke saying I have a busted Shock Absorber because it's sort of like I can feel my spine taking the movement. If in the car, while taking curves or go over uneven roads it hurts too if it moves side to side.

So I got X-rays and those showed something that's kept me worried. Early signs of Spondylosis(Click link to read about it) which just confirms the suspicion of a doc back WHEN I was 20(I'm 25 now) of me having Osteoarthritis.

So, I'm just screwed. Early degenerative conditions that have no cure, only get worst and can only deal with the symptoms. Right now I'm getting physical therapies with electroshock, warm pads, ultrasound and massages. I've already taken it 6 days.... and I'm still very much the same... In fact, today when I went to it I was in a lot of pain and when it was over, I still had it. A tiny bit less but it's back to full blast right now. The only way I'm truly comfortable and ease the pain is to lay on my back over a bunch of pillows. Sitting at the computer hurts so haven't been doing much of that either.
Gotta wait for my last 4 therapies and go back to doc to see what she says and if she sends me to do something else or does more studies or whatever because I'm not really improving and it's already been like 3 weeks. All I've been doing is go to school and then back home to sleep.

I've been assigned the next Sea3on short but thankfully I have enough time for it so I can recover first, so far I haven't really done much other than very messy story boarding to at least get the imagery out. I've been trying to keep myself busy because if I'm let to think about it, I'm gonna get depressed.

So, just wanted to let you guys know...

This little post is making me hurt more so going to sleep now...

Date's good. Gives me time to free my schedule and also to heal my back as I hurt it a while ago and can't spend a lot of time sitting at the computer and I'm taking meds for the pain that make me drowsy.
Once I start drawing them, I'll be sending you previews as I work on them in case you'd like things changed and such. That's how I work. Constantly showing what I'm doing to be sure it's what you want and so I don't spend a lot of work in something you might not like and having to start over.
