Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Well guys it's that time of the month again. End of September, start of November... So Lets see...

The New Episode of the month is Sonic Conversion!

Sonic tries to free Uncle Chuck once and for all! What are your thoughts? Think Chuck shoulda been left for dead? A annoying bot? Is it awesome he joins to help out the FF's? What is your take on this?

Actually it would be the start of October...

Can't really say I liked a whole lot about this particular episode. It seemed a bit goofy and candy sweet as opposed to many of the Season 1 episodes. Robotnik lost some of his luster and although the exchanges between him and Snively were funny, he just didn't have it in him. Plus, I was already beginning to miss Cluck...

It was the second episode of Season 2 I've watched and it looked to be just as goofy as Game Guy. I can't really go into too much detail, but a few parts didn't work. I quickly found Antoine to be a little obnoxious, and to a certain point, a bit arrogant. Sally's voice changed quite a bit in this episode and I wondered if she was a young adult or an overgrown little girl. Dulcy the Dragon does another dumb landing stunt as she, Sally and Bunnie try to pull Sonic out of the muck, as he tried to get Uncle Chuck who had Tails and Antoine with him as he tried to get away to Robotropolis. That little exchange she gave to him was well.... a bit odd.

But not all was bad, though. We see Bunnie Rabbot and Uncle Chuck in their original forms for the first time, and that little moment we when we see him and Sonic together in the Great Forest gave me a sense of innocence inside. It was touching, but also emotional as Sonic tries to get Uncle Chuck back through use of a Power Ring. Only to later find out that Uncle Chuck decides to stay in Robotropolis as a Spy instead of just hanging out with the Freedom Fighters in Knothole Village.

7.0/10 - Not the best episode of the Season, but certainly not the worst. For the most part it was okay, but I felt that a few things were missing. It wasn't just the disappearance of Cluck either...

This was a pretty good episode, it seemed like a roller coaster of emotion. The FF's being joyful that it seemed like they got a derobotizer working, but then finding out they didn't. Bunnie's saddness at going back to being a half-rot was touching, it was probably one of Christine Cavanagh's best scenes. Sonic and Uncle Chuck walk together in Knothole and Sonic fighting to get Uncle Chuck back was emotional too.

Yeah, Bunnie's emotions over losing her reclaimed limbs really is something that, with another season, would've been great to explore. Bunnie's character was very often depicted a positive personality, but seeing moments of weakness like that was part of what made this episode memorable.

I loved this episode as a kid, because I was (and am) a big Uncle Chuck fan. Having him as a spy was a cool idea, I thought.

But I also really appreciated the moment near the end, when Chuck fakes being under Robotnik's control to help Sonic escape, and he just gives a little "Love ya, boy." I like that line; like most of SatAM's best dialogue, it felt very authentic, not overly emotional, hokey, or melodramatic.

The episode had it's flaws, but a lot of season 2's flaws, I felt, were more due to the clear slash in budget the show went through.

I think this was a good episode but freaking Antoine and Tails were just annoying to me!
I mean they kept blabbing on and on mostly Antoine but still. But other then that it was good and we got to see Uncle Chuck not roboticized!

Every time I see this episode, I get this weird feeling between the moment when Uncle Chuck returns to his robot form & right when he gets his free will. It shows the Freedom Fighters will not give up on anything until a certain situation cannot be achieved.

I mean I know some people have lost family like this in the past.
Don't you ever mess with the hedgehog.

It helps me realize that the robotisization process isn't hard for them to figure out. Chuck again proves to be a formiddable opponent on either side.

I could nitpic to death but still a decent overall ep imo .

having copied the audio "transcript" for this episode, i hated parts of the dialogue. Antoine was so tough to understand half the time, and it took forever to translate his "french."

Seeing Bunnie get excited about getting her body back was pretty exciting, which made it so much harder to be taken away. As sad as the scene was, i didn't like her dialogue at that moment. I don't think anyone would actually say "what the hoo ha happened." The animation of her sitting there bewildered conveys her feelings better than her words.

Aside from Ant being really annoying, this was one of my favorites. The defining moment of the episode for me was when we find out from Chuck that the robotisized mobians have knowledge of their existence as slaves. It made me think of how horrible it was for uncle chuck to attack sonic in Season 1, and again when he was "re-robotisized." I couldn't imagine what the other mobians were going through in Robotnik's factories. It's pretty scary that robotisized mobians have that self awareness, but no control over their will. Imagine yourself put in that position...

How do you know this isn't common for some of us?

BTW, I noticed both times I watched it, did Sally's group really do anything to help? They made it up to the control room but Chuck, Sonic, and Bunnie still had to shoot the ropes.

on the whole, i like this episode. It showed some balance with the FFs on the recieving end of a rather significant failure instead of winning all the time. i also was pleased with the sonic/uncle chuck scenes, especially towards the end. Seeing bunnie as a complete fleshbody(neh, random star wars term ) was also kinda nice.
What i didn't understand was, when uncle chuck reverted to his mechanized form, he grabs Tails and Antione and heads for the great swamp. Wouldn't Robotnik have programmed all the robians to report their location if they got withing fifty feet of knothole? That scene was kinda funny, though... "Ah weel mek you anuzzer sammich!" heh. most of the french i know, i learned from Antoine.

I do find the topic of roboticized Mobians' consciousness to be pretty interesting.

In the first season, when Sonic first gets Uncle Chuck to come around for a little while, Chuck seems dazed, out of it, like he was coming out of a deep sleep.

That makes me think that the Mobians retain some of their consciousness, but likely, after awhile, they give up hope of freeing themselves, and sort of "tune out" what's going on...which, in a way, is like killing them.

Argh, the whole roboticization thing gave me nightmares when I was little.

I think you're confusing this episode with "Ultra Sonic" where they fight the "T-Bot" It's the only episode i remember where they shot at ropes (suspending the massive crystal.)
