I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

I was wheezing though the forums and saw the old "New topic" icons and though that there pretty old. So I opened paint and got to work on a new one and this is what I made!

I'm not saying you have to use it but if you decide to I can make a closed one and a reply one. But I would like people to say what they like and dislike about it please.

Edit : I have just done a post reply one but its not as good as the new topic one =) here it is.

Well. theres a few problems with these.

A.) That White around them makes them horribly eye wrenching. Not in the 'it's bbbaddd' way, but in the seriously 'No, it's actually making my eyes hurt.' way. It's the colorscheme. I can fix this in post.

B.) Did you draw the Sonic and Sally? Or are they sprites from a sprite sheet. If they are from a sheet, we need to know who made the sheet or ripped or made the sprites so we can give them proper credit.

C.) We'd need a third 'Locked Topic' button. This one has Antoine on it.

I agree. Rocky's color scheme hurts my eyes as it is.

Those white buttons are just even worse on the eyes with a black background.

Thirded, plus those buttons have been carried over from the previous board, classic in a certain way. They reflect the old look of the board in an unobtrusive/clashing way.

I agree with the rest. When they need updating, then we use those. Though I think those are more suited to an icy look.

I like the ones we've got, they're pretty stylish.

Not to mention, and no offence intended, that yours look quite amateurish. Better than what I was expecting when you said you'd done it in paint; the Sonic 'sprite' is actually not too bad. The Sally one doesn't look that good.

I like the ones we got. They look cartoonish, and being based from a cartoon, that's kind of a good thing. Sprites on the other hand... good job on making them mate but other than using them as smilies, or something, I wouldn't want to have them used as part of the this forum's layout.

I doubt it. Users who have custom rank images got them during a limited-time offer. It'll come around again, but the point of the limited-time offer was so that people wouldn't bug Rocky to put up custom rank images all the time.

Though if you'd like to make a donation to the site (I can't remember how much exactly, but not too terribly much, and it all goes to keeping the site up and running) you can get the rank outside of this period, so you get to help out the site and get your custom title :3 for example this is how Shadow got his title I believe.
