@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Who else had a crush on Sally?

The older a fanbase gets, the more the discussion turns to sex. Just for once, I wish it wouldn't. If I am able to revive SATAM, there won't even be a hint of sexuality. That crap can be relegated to furaffinity and fchan..and all those porno sites.

As I said before, have some decorum.

This must've made your day, then (technically she wasn't "crushed", but I figure it's close enough). xD

The main problem with Sally falling was that she took the comic down with her

I would agree here, Sally should have stayed dead, considering that their idea of progressing that arc into another is have Sally be revived by some lame-ass deus ex machina.

BTW, Matt I really do not like how you are trying to force your ideals into the community. We get the message, you dislike the sexualization of SatAM. Please, give it a rest

In all honesty, though it may not infringe on forum policy, it is something somewhat disturbing. Imagine a 15 yr old coming in here and reading all about a bunch of 25-30yr olds drooling all over a cartoon chipmunk.

Maybe its normal these days, but the number of people into the whole 'furies' phenomenon has me kinda on edge... especially the density in this fan base.

I think that most people just agree with furries. I don't think they bother most people just like stuff to talk about and it furries that makes this fan base not everyone is a furrie but over half at lest. If people were ashamed off being a furrie this topic would have never started I don't know!

Well, when I said "furry", I didn't mean to imply any cartoon with furry characters, that's cool with me (I couldn't care less). What I meant was a bunch of XXX addicts who find their time best served drawing up chipmunk hentai and the like. What they do is their business, but I just find the number and density of these 'furryphilliacs' to be... odd.

Then again, most cultures are weird in one way or another. We all know something 'interesting' about one or more euro/asian denominations, right? And I suppose it's a given for a topic like this.

I used to be indifferent on Sally, but I saw a deviant artist who successfully managed to make Sally...um...hotter than she ever was. Now I have a crush on her.

If I had a crush on Sally, she must have turned me down, because I've made sure I forgot about it.

I never had a crush on Sally as a kid. But I have to admit, I had a crush on Bunnie (when I was like 10).

Yeah I though Bunnie looked better than sally even though she's been robotized! I didn't have a crush on any of them I just though that other people would have found bunnie better looking but I guess I was wrong, huh.

Well there's nothing wrong with having a crush on a toon girl as a kid. Hell when i was 3 and 4 back in 1985 and 1986 i had a crush on Teela from He-Man and The Masters of the Universe and a crush on Adora, Frosta, Glimmer, Catra, and Mermista from She-Ra including Cheetara from Thundercats, Scarlett from G.I. Joe, and so on. Then when i was 11 by 1993 i was turned on by Sally of SatAM, Taarna from Heavy Metal (I taped it from TBS in 1993 and rebought it in it's uncensored version in 1996 when it finally came on video to see her gorgeous body nude), Callie from Swat Kats, Ann Gora from Swat Kats and Mindy Simmons from The Simpsons.

In my new SATAM pitch Sally doesn't have "tits" She's going to be more animal-like. Still cute, but not a "furry" design.

Is she (or any of the characters for that matter) gonna be similar to how she was back in the day?

Personally, I've always been a Lupe fan. She could beat Sally up if she wanted to. Plus, I've always thought wolves're more or less the coolest critters there are. I'd still hafta go with Lupe. Or that wolf gal from No Brainer.

Oh yes, i was also into Lupe at the age of 12 turning 13 in 1995. Now that im 26 and bought my DVD last year, i do admit the Wolf Girl in "No Brainer" is a total cutie.

Lupe and Sally are both great. They're just not going to be sex symbols. At least...not in MY version of SATAM.
