Ballistic NG?

@  RocketBoiArch : (19 May 2017 - 02:23 PM)

Anyone interested in Putting Nicole into BallisticNG?

@  Sandata : (18 May 2017 - 02:39 AM)

I stand corrected. It'll be "soon" then.

@  furrykef : (17 May 2017 - 10:17 PM)

Nah, the remastered version ain't out yet.

@  Uncle Ben : (15 May 2017 - 05:58 PM)

I know, been meaning to get it

@  Sandata : (14 May 2017 - 02:36 PM)

The original Starcraft has been rereleased with a full remaster and it's free. Just FYI

@  Uncle Ben : (12 May 2017 - 02:11 PM)

Hell, I trashed the family computer by playing RuneScape (or so I was told as a 13 year old)

@  Uncle Ben : (12 May 2017 - 02:10 PM)

I never had a PC that could have handled it until recently.

@  Ishapar : (12 May 2017 - 11:54 AM)

AOE is the most I have done with RTS games.

@  GamemasterAn... : (12 May 2017 - 06:58 AM)

I don't touch RTS games myself. Too much micromanaging for my tastes.

@  chief : (11 May 2017 - 08:32 PM)

..yyou never played starcraft?

@  Uncle Ben : (11 May 2017 - 04:09 PM)

For the record I never played StarCraft. I just know about "YOU MUST CONSTRUCT ADDITIONAL PYLONS" meme

@  Sandata : (10 May 2017 - 02:53 PM)

We require more minerals!

@  GamemasterAn... : (10 May 2017 - 06:50 AM)

Pile on the pylons!

@  Uncle Ben : (09 May 2017 - 05:37 PM)

WE MUST BUILD ADDITIONAL PYLONS

@  Shadow : (09 May 2017 - 04:42 PM)

Seems to happen once every month.

@  furrykef : (09 May 2017 - 02:38 PM)

*gone down lately

@  furrykef : (09 May 2017 - 02:37 PM)

Well, the server hasn't gone lately, nor have I seen it running insufferably slow. Looks like I fixed it!

@  Shadow : (08 May 2017 - 09:23 AM)

I also recommend Phantasm.

@  Shadow : (08 May 2017 - 09:23 AM)

Oooh, if she loves horror make sure to introduce her to the 1980's The Thing.

We finally have official word from Archie. Unfortunately, it didn’t really give any new info other than we now know that all Sonic comic titles have been delayed. We were not told why this is the case and whether the comics would continue.
The reason no issues have been received is because there has been a delay on all Sonic titles. We are currently working on the situation and do apologize for this. Once we receive information we will notify all customers.

So in other words: F*** You.

Seriously, your going to lose more fans from the delay and lack of information than a cancellation. At least cancellation means we're not wasting time. Stringing us a long doesn't benefit anyone. We're not buying and Archie isn't making. Why keep spinning their wheels?

One has to imagine at this point that there isn't a for-certain answer at the moment; the reason they haven't given an answer yet may well be that they can't.  It's hard for me to otherwise imagine why they would take this long and still not have said anything of substance about what's going on (though the scuttlebutt I've gathered suggests it relates to Scott Fulop's recent Penders-style lawsuit).

They don't really mean it. They know the comics are going down. Sonic will go down just like Felix the Cat. :(

The only read i doubt that is they keep promising info and then not delivering. It's almost too obvious they're trying to use the lack of information to their advantage. The only issue is there's no foreseeable reason to keep fans hanging.
Perhaps they're using the lack of information to bring about discussion or fan action to persuade the courts or fans their way, true. I just feel they're doing more damage not giving answers than giving us ones we don't wanna here.

The NES was my first exposure to Felix the Cat. I was pretty surprised to learn that Felix was created in 1919. He's a decade older than Mickey Mouse!

Steamboat Willie is supposed to be copyrighted until 2024. So more like six and a half years.

Copyright is all a bit murky. The early cartoons are out of copyright, but rights to the characters themselves are still being bought and sold in recent years. Felix is currently owned by Dreamworks. Copyright terms differ depending on the country and also whether the work was created as part of employment. For example, Popeye is public domain in many countries but is still under copyright in the USA.

Maybe that's the reason why they've been remaking their animated films as of lately.

Considering how many people claim to have "insider sources" over the years in regards to anything  involving Sonic, I'm not really inclined to believe something someone said on SSMB.

I stopped reading the comic years ago, but I would periodically read little blurbs of information about what important events occurred in the issues.  I can accept that the comic might end, but I wish that the main series could have made it to 300, and that Sonic Universe could have gone to 100.  Then again, I kept hoping that the series would end with another retcon to restore the old continuity, so perhaps I shouldn't get my hopes up.

Why's that? Penders fouled up the old continuity so much that there's hardly anything worth salvaging from it.

As far as I'm concerned, the series is better off disregarding his influence.

Certain aspects from the old canon are redeemable though. Personally if they were to reboot, I'd like them to take some aspects from the original.

Also I'm over the redesign thing. I know a lot of people hate the redesigns but honestly they're just different.
