De wa...

@  Uncle Ben : (17 September 2017 - 06:32 PM)

Bobby "The Brain" Heenan passed away.

@  Shadow : (17 September 2017 - 03:41 AM)

I have experienced no problems on my end.

@  Uncle Ben : (16 September 2017 - 05:00 PM)

The test I sent to chief showed up on my end. Now let's see if from his end.

@  Uncle Ben : (16 September 2017 - 04:59 PM)

Hold on, let me test with you chief.

@  chief : (16 September 2017 - 04:56 PM)

Nah..No text there. Can even try highlighting it. Get nothing. Just weird.

@  furrykef : (16 September 2017 - 04:55 PM)

Unless anyone else experiences the same thing, it's probably on his end.

@  Uncle Ben : (16 September 2017 - 04:27 PM)

Could it be a glitch, kef?

@  furrykef : (16 September 2017 - 04:25 PM)

All I can say is I haven't touched anything aside from putting up the logo.

@  Uncle Ben : (16 September 2017 - 04:23 PM)

Check email. If you get an email copy of the PM and the text shows there then it's the issue I had years ago. If not it might be a tech issue.

@  ShenFNWoo : (16 September 2017 - 04:21 PM)

....

@  Uncle Ben : (16 September 2017 - 04:19 PM)

Chief it might be something to do with text color. A few years ago the text color would match the background.

@  Quickster : (16 September 2017 - 04:14 PM)

No Sonic Boom episode this week due to production issues. :(

@  ShenFNWoo : (16 September 2017 - 03:54 PM)

Okay. Fix one thing somewhere, another thing screws up. The law of equivalent exchange, as seen here on FUS

@  chief : (16 September 2017 - 01:56 PM)

Hey ShenFNWoo....For some reason my PMs are screwed up and are just sending blanks..as you just saw. Which also Gijira would see as well.... Trying to fix that.

@  Shadow : (16 September 2017 - 01:32 PM)

If Sonic would ever be made into a movie it would most likely be under a third party company owned by Disney. They did well with Wreck it Ralph, and companies would trust them with managing videogame characters.

@  Dav246 : (16 September 2017 - 11:54 AM)

It probably wont ever happen, as the Sly Cooper movie that Sony was working on will not happen, but they say it will be coming in 2019. As with Sonic and Sly Cooper alike, if by some miracle it comes out of development hell, it will most likely not be any good. Not to mention they have been practically pissing money into god awful movies.

@  Shadow : (14 September 2017 - 03:00 PM)

Its more of a slot holder. Sony Pictures has been bleeding money these past few years on making terrible movies, so I don't expect them to end up making it.

@  Quickster : (14 September 2017 - 11:31 AM)

Its 2019 release date was known since July. We'll only need to wait 27 more months to see it...

@  Clocktopus : (14 September 2017 - 08:20 AM)

they pushed it back from 2018? Not exactly a good sign...But I doubt most people are expecting it to be good anyway

Yeah, if we can't get a comic done, how can we expect to do an animated cartoon?

Stranger things have happened

The Scribes, if anyone wants to join a growing community. Ask me if you want to know more.

“Some say that he is the only man in history to buy a DFS sofa when there wasn’t a sale on, and that his favourite boxing venue is Munich airport. All we know is he’s called the Stig.”

“Some say that he once put Helen Mirren in a dishwasher, and that at the Winter Olympics he was disqualified from the skeleton event for riding down the hill on an actual skeleton. All we know is he’s called the Stig!”

“Some say that if you hold him in the wrong way he doesn’t work properly, and that just very recently he developed an irrational hatred of Rubens Barrichello. All we know is he’s called the Stig.”

With the comic, I believe we only have around three artists.  If we ever tried to do animation, we are going to need more help.

how many sea3on comics have been written? I thought quite a few have been done.

we only need 13 episodes to complete a season.

One issue doesn't always add up to one episode, and we only have 7 chapters.

Unless you add enough filler in the comic to make into an episode.  Comics and animation are not equal mediums.

We only have 2 artists.  Tim does the Pencils etc and Stephen does the colours.   Tim has a multitude of other projects he works on.  Stuff that pays for better then S3.  And Stephen works full time with a schedule that constantly changes from nights to days, to half night half days.  So he sadly just cant power through a page in a few days like he use too.    I am just waiting on him to wrap up one last page..That should give us a decent backlog....Hopefully.

Thanks again for clarifying the situation.  I know I am getting impatient with the waiting, but there's only so much two guys can do when they have other commitments.

Oh no problem.   I know everyone wants to see this going.  Just when we were doing other chapters Stephen never had this job.  So he was usually able to push out a coloured page in a matter of days, if not one day.   Now it takes him quite a bit longer.   Something i wasn't thinking of when I originally wanted to start pushing out pages early this year.   I think once we get the hang of things stuff should start speeding up.  Hopefully.   Also only releasing a page every 2 weeks should help out.

I only look at these comics as a storyboard, of course any animation would need more content added.

Depends on how the story progresses in the season 3 comics.

Im happy with what ive read so far.

Nice to hear that, nzoomed.  If the comic continues and regains public interest, the possibility of animation may happen.  Keep the interest alive, and it stays alive.

And thanks again for the update, chief.

When i stumbled across this site, it gave me lots of hope. This was a big part of my childhood that i really missed.

At the time, i never really gave it much thought on why the show stopped screening lol

I think Ben Hurst would be proud if he could see his legacy live on.

Its great testimony to what a fanbase can achieve.

Im new here, and im sure more people will stumble along this in due course.

Depends.  If FUS does more like the comic, I can see a renewed interest with Satam, but it's dependent on us to keep it alive.  If all else fails, at least I have the Satam story to tell future generations, so the story can still live on.

Do you know if anyone has done a FUS stand at events such as comic-con?

I think that would draw alot of interest.

Anyway, your right, if FUS does more with the season 3 comic, there will be gained interest.

Im looking forward to chapter 7.

We can all do our part with sharing it round.

There is obviously a fanbase out there that has not been tapped into yet.

I'm not sure of FUS' history with comic-con, but I don't think we have much to advertise until we finally upload chapter 7.  When that is done, maybe one of us could make a trailer/announcment video for the public to know that Sea3on is back and kicking.

Did comic Con once. Had no booth or anything. Just wondered around giving out cards. Heck that was.. 4 years ago or so I think.

Perhaps crowdfunding could be used to pay for a booth?
