@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

There's a difference between liking a show about talking animals and crushing on said talking animals.

And that's the second time I've been mistaken for a dude. Does my avatar need more rainbows and sparkly ponies or something?

That would be a start!

Well, no I don't think it matters. It was Rob's avatar for awhile so subcon I think you're him sometimes but the name should be a big tell.

Oh boy... can't think of all that many.

If I had to look back, I would say that to this day, my main crushes were Linka of the Planeteers, Bunnie, and to a smaller extent Sally. I have several PAIRINGS that I have fantasies about when THEY'RE together, like Sonic & Sally, Sonic & Amy (IF it's written right), and Ash & Misty, and Ami & Greg. But individually, the ladies above are as far as I've went.

Now if we get into video games, THERE'S a good list. And it's growing all the time. At least I think so. Someone bug me and I'll add them here.

Says the man who posts to a board dedicated to a show about talking animals *giggle*

That "bird chick" is from DINOSAUCERS, a terribly cheesy, AWFUL cartoon from the 80's. I liked it though, if only because I liked big stompy talking dinosaurs

Matt, hating furries and trashing on them internet is the popular thing to do, as is *constantly* going the fuck on about how much you hate furries. I've never understod why people who don't like furries are so obsessed with htem and go on and on and on about them. (That's not to say that furries don't have more than their fair share of weirdos, but there are many normal furs, a fact which people seem to conviently ignore.)

And oh holy shit, DO NOT point out that Sonic is ananthropamorphic animal, no matter how amusing it may be to watch people get their nuts in a twist and wave the magic wand so they can make Sonic "not furry" so they can like it publicly.

Huh. When did I post that long tirade about how sick and perverted furries are? I only recall posting a single sentence about how puzzling the fans could be—and I only said it because I meant it, not because I want to be ZOMG INTERNET TRENDY.

Hmm. Don't recall ever saying I hate furries. Only the behavior of some of the more radical and spastic ones. I DO seem to recall even saying I've DRAWN furry art and enjoy animal characters.

I'd have to agree with Matt, furries on the extreme end of the spectrum can unfortunately be quite disturbing.

Anesthesia, I wasn't accusing you of anything, but but it was something I wanted to geto ut in the open. Like I said, not every single one fits under this ZOMG PERV status.

Matt, Lord Exor, I'm pretty sure I already said that, more or less. Some are fucked up. I've seen them. Many are not though.

Having been watching both the furry fandom and Sonic fandom for eight years, it irks me when people just generalizations about one or the other. Normally I shrugg it off, but sometimes I vent.

*cough* I'll go back to lurking again.

I had a crush on Sally, and also with Babs and Fifi from Tiny Toons. Strangely enough, Sally and Fifi are both voiced by the same voice actress.

Mm, I could never stand Pepe Le Pew, and I feel much the same way about Fifi, really. I dunno, I think Fifi's not quite as bad...

Hmm... I can't recall ever having a crush on a cartoon character (or a real-life celebrity, for that matter). I do have a "thing" with Princess Sally, though. It's hard to describe. It's not really a crush, 'cause it's not the sort of feeling that I wish she were my girlfriend or anything. It's not really sexual attraction, either. I mean, if she were real, I'd totally go out with her, but it's not the sort of thing I daydream about. It's not an obsession, because I don't daydream or whatever about her much at all; she's not on my mind particularly often. But when I see her I get this odd "Sally is awesome" kinda feeling.

Kef and Sally what a cute pear. But back to the topic I didn't really have a crush on any cartoon characters I might off I just can't remember I don't think I did

Nah, no topic age restrictions. I never did understand why an old topic used to mean a 'end of the discussion and we will BURN you for reviving it' thing. Maybe a new member has something to add to an old discussion, or an old member not been around for a while feels the need to throw in his two-cents worth. It's no biggie. The important thing is for our members not to take it upon themselves to moderate any revival comments - that's our job.

And April O'Neil was very sexy.

On a forum this size, it's not a problem. Wait till you moderate a forum where there are hundreds of registrations per week with many posting only once in a topic from 2004.
