Hi, I'm new here! In case anyone's interested, here's a little background on me.
I'm 28 this saturday, but I've only recently discovered Sonic Satam. Sadly, the show wasn't aired in my country in the 90s, so I missed it completely. I loved Sonic games on Megadrive/Genesis back in the day, played them through and through. At the time I only saw a couple of episodes of "Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog", which I thought was ok, but I wasn't impressed much. I didn't really care for Sonic content ever since - tried a couple of 3d games, but only really played Sonic Rivals on PSP. As for cartoon shows, I was alienated by the newer design styles, massive amount of new characters and Sega's obsession with making every character look supercool and edgy and stuff.
A couple of weeks ago Doug Walker (Nostalgia Critic, That guy with the glasses) released a video with him and his brother discussing both early 90s shows. He praised Satam so much, I just had to go and watch it. I'm at the beginning of 2nd season right now, but I have to say - that's one of the best shows I've ever seen in my life! It would have made such lovely childhood memories if only I could see it back then. I also read a short summary of Archie comics, which I plan to read, but, to be honest, I love Satam character designs and personalities (especially Sally) so much, that I'm not looking forward to Sonic rejecting the marriage with Sally, Sally almost marrying Antoine, attempts to kill Sally, her robotization, personality and design changes, etc...
TLDR: Just discovered Satam and fascinated by it. Absolutely love Sally, support Sonally.
Nice to meet you! ![]()
