That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Way back aroudn the time the box set came out, there was a topic about crossovers with other older shows and whatnot. Since there's been a lot of new blood since those days, I think it's time to dust off the topic once more. This is intended to be more of a silly topic, than a serious one, of course. So, let's have some fun.

The rules are simple:

1: Post the name of the show/movie/etc. you'd like to see crossed over with SatAM.

2: Post an explination of why or what you'd expect to result from this crossover.

3: Laugh at eachother's foolishness.

 

Here we go...

 

The A-Team (TV show): The definitive problem solvers of the 80's. It would be interesting to see what they could build from scraps of Mobian and/or Robotnik tech. Also, animated Mr. T throws Robotnik and Snively over a hover pod. :mr-t:

 

Dukes of Hazzard (TV show, NOT HORRIBLE MOVIE): Robotnik vs TNT arrows fired from a flying Dodge Carger.

 

Airwolf: Something 2.5 times faster than Sonic, with the capability of leveling Robotropolis before the themesong ends. :augh:

 

The Thing (Carpenter's version): RJ McReady vs Robotnik. :hairy: :Flamethrower: :Burnbabyburn:

I always thought the version of the Ninja Turtles from TMNT Adventures (the Archie series) should've crossed over with the Knothole Freedom Fighters, as they're both animal superhero teams. It would've made a lot more sense than a lot of the crossovers that Archie did do with Sonic, although I really enjoyed the Sabrina crossover and the Image crossover despite them not making much sense.

Alien.

I want to see Robotnik try to control the Xenomorphs for himself, fighting against a whole swarm just to capture some. And the ones he DOES somehow get, (Most likely by using the facehuggers on trapped Mobians) well...imagine this.

Omega Doom: A robot that Robotnik can't control, bent on helping the goodguys.

 

Phantasm: The Tall Man comes to down, to amass an army of of the undead from the dead of the Great War. Dulcy gets head-drilled. Robotnik gets double-crossed by a being he can't roboticize or kill.

Interstellar. Sonic travels to the event horizon of a black hole and finds himself in a 5-dimensional space. He looks back at his life past genesis wave and reboots and tries to send a message to his past self at a marriage rejection point - "Stay". Make him stay, Sally! Don't let me leave, Sally!
