Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Remember the episode Super Sonic, where Robotnik used Lazaar's computer of spells to hypnotized Sally and Bunnie? After Sonic freed them, they acted like nothing happen. This always puzzles me. Why didn't they remember?

I think the idea was that they didn't know what they had done whilst being hypnotized.  Not too hard to believe considering the deus ex machine of magic is involved.  Most likely it was simpler for the writer to just say "Hey, they were hypnotized so they don't remember."  Think of it this way, if you're sleepwalking and someone wakes you, would you remember exactly how you got wherever you are?  No, I wouldn't think so.  This case is much the same.

It's a common belief no one remembers what they were doing while hypnotized. They always have stage performances when people are getting hypnotized and don't remember what happened afterwards.

I'm not saying if it's real or not, that's just the common belief, lol.

So does that mean Sally doesn't remember watching Bunnie get hypnotized in the episode?

Sometimes when you have amnesia you don't remember what happened shortly before or after the amnesia-inducing event. Though this is probably overthinking it.

Interesting point, but why get hypnotized people to kidnap hedgehogs when you can make them do your laundry and make you sandwiches?

*agrees with wildfire*  Note how groggy Sal acts while she's coming out of it...

Because Robotnik likes to mess with hedgehogs...especially annoying blue ones who mess up his plans :icon_e_smile:

Buttnik knew Sonic wouldn't wanna hurt the girls, so he thought it would be fun to watch Sonic deal with that. :robotnik:

...

Besides, he already had Snivley to do the laundry & make sandwiches xD

I too agree with wildfire. A lot of cartoons have the characters not remember after being under the influence of "hypnosis".

Some sedatives, especially flunitrazepam, cause both retrograde and anterograde amnesia if administered in high doses. The magic could have had a similar influence. I do not know for sure, but based on the episodes of The Mentalist, hypnosis does not involve amnesia unless it is suggested for. The submission spell could have induced forgetting of every association with the spell, including the spell being cast on other subjects, and therefore causing the retrograde amnesia.

Well, again according to the information from The Mentalist, they would have to trust the one hypnotising, and they could never do anything they would not do when thinking clearly, so the reasons for their actions were a bit obscure. The suggestion may have been strong enough for them to think that they were somewhere else, doing something else and not bringing Sonic to be roboticised.

But they never stated that they were hypnotised and it was a different, sorcerous means of mind control.

However, that is definitely overthought.

Unless of course they eventually remembered it.
