Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Welcome, friends. I've decided to fire up Edgecrusher: The RPG. So, here, we'll have the basics, rules, character registrations, and OOC discussions.

 

A basic rundown of the backstory of the RPG (I'll have a much more comprehensive backstory put up later):

Time is not a constant. It flows at different rates, dependant upon a number of conditions. And it can flow quite differently in other dimensons. Most of our backstory takes place within D-13, where time flows at a similar rate to our own. However, civilization there is WAY older than our own (the full backstory will explain this better). And so, that's where I'll begin...

 

Roughly 4 million years ago: A cold war breaks out between the major world powers. The UTCA is the most advanced civilization, and holds off on simply crushing the others. The others prove not to be stupid enough to provoke the UTCA. The cold war rages on for a million years.

Roughly 3.5 million years ago: The cold war begins heating up as various groups within the other world powers begin siding with the UTCA. The UTCA becomes the UCA. These additions allow the UCA access to technologies and innovators previously restricted to other world powers.

Roughly 3 million years ago. Technology within the UCA has progressed to the point of experimental time-travel. The Edgecrusher Project is the culmination of Professor Sven Ravenhawk's life's work. He commissions and advanced AI to be built by the world's greatest cyberneticist, Varstok Diode. Diode creates a female AI named Ayo-Kakke (ay-oh Kahk-keh [literally: "Hawk-Raven", implied: "Raven-Hawk"]), or "AK" for short, and gives her the body of a tetrahedron with 13" sides and an onboard arsonal of power tools. AK and Sven amass a gathering of the greatest scientific minds within the UCA, and proceed to attempt to tackle the problem of working up a power plant capable of powering the equipment to teleport the new Leviathan Class aircracft carrier Edgecrusher a million years back in time, so the UTCA can win the cold war before it gets out of hand. The limitationas of science prove to be a problem. Their solution? Develop new brances of scientific research and development to counteract those limititaions. A couple of decades later, they apparently succeed. The Edgecrusher's new powerplant is installed and a test is conducted, to send the ship a minute into the future. The ship disappears as expected, but never reappears. The government is outraged over the expendetures incurred by this hyper-secret experiment. They order the obliteration of the scientific team and all data related to it. Before they can catch him, Sven manages to record some key parts of the equation to datacrystals and scatter them thoughout various other UCA research facillities. To save AK, Sven wipes her memories of the project and seals her and his personal VTOL (The RH-13X) away in an underground storage facillity. Sven is caught and executed.

Roughly 2.5 million years ago: The cold war devolves into an acutal war. The UCA easily defeats the other world powers and begins a process of assimilation, turning them into UCA territories. Some countries refuse the offers of inclusion, and are allowed to exist outside of the UCA.

Roughly 1 million years ago: Some groups of UCA citizens take to the stars.

100 BC: Evil beings begin being summoned into D-13. The govenment's elete Shadow Warriors are tasked with destroying them and the people who summoned them.

The Year 0: French occultists summon a greater demon, who unleashes a force that effectively strips the world of advanced technologies. A new force, called the XF (doesn't stand for anything [I just like the way it looks]) emerges from the decendants of the Shadow Warriors' more skilled members. The XF is able to operate above the law, worldwide. Their mission is to stamp out evil. The people of D-13 quickly restore their technological level to a level roughly equivilent to what ours would be in the 1950's.

Sometime in the 1000's: The XF covertly gains control of the world's governments, but leaves the world's leaders and various "shadow govenment" oganizations in place, to refrain from drawing attention to themselves.

1980: Richard Petty is elected President For Life of the UCA. His Vice President is Chuck Norris. The current generation of XF mambers mostly takes over the organization. The previous generation remain as advisors and special operatives. The XF creates CHEVX, a nearly indestructable material. They also build CHEVX City, the largest city in the world, in southeastern Kansas. CHEVX Tower is built in the center of CHEVX City. It's the tallest structure in the world, with the observation deck in the stratosphere. A chance encounter at a local state fair leads to an invesitigation of an individian, which in turn leads to the discovery of a Pre-0 research lab. Reverse engeneering of the technologies within jump-starts the UCA's technological developlment rate.

12:00 pm, June 7, 2015: In top-secret facillity in Arazona, The XF shares their findings with Vlad Yvhv, a long-time ally of the UCA. Vlad sends the Warwolf crew to D-1391 to enjoy the Varkondia Berry harvest festival on Thylos-13, while he sets to work unraveling the mysteries before him. Time flows more slowly in D-1391. It's the summer of 1980 there, and will be for a few more of our decades. Vlad knows this and wants to have the time to himself without alienating his crew. Lyn is happy to return home, being a celebrated hero to the Thylan Empire, and promisised to bring back some of Sonja Tyger's famous Black Varkondia Berry Pie.

June 27, 2015: Vlad uncovers and activates AK. He takes her and the RH-13X to the current world's top cyberneticist, Rick Diode. Diode provides Vlad with the tools and equipment he needs to upgrade AK from an AI to an RI, and to fix up and customize the RH-13X (he keeps the designation, at AK's request).

2015-2030: AK helps Vlad make sense of what otherwise seems to be gibberish, insane rambleings, and nonsense. They build a test chamber and experiment with various types of matter and calculations, until they'er sure that they can send themselves and the RH-13X into the same dimension as the Edgecrusher. The main problem is that they won't have the power to send them to the same time as the Edgecrusher. So, they resolve to find whatever remains of the Edgecrusher, in the hopes of finding its powerplant intact. The powerplant's nearly unfathomable output will be of great use to whoever can get ahold of it. The XF wants the origional, but will allow Vlad to reverse-egneneer it for his own purposes. And so, Vlad, AK, and the RH-13X are teleported into the dimenson S-2AM, in the year 32-something (can't remember it right now), about 3 months prior to the events of Doomsdey. The Knothole Freedom Fighters and Wolf Pack have managed to recruit the other FF factions, and are gearing up for the big assault.

Rules:

1: I am the GM. I decide the outcome of all events of chance. So, basically, anything that one or more of your characters does while interacting with another player's character(s) and/or the world is my domain. I'll us a D12 to decide the outcome of these events. The only "gimme" situations will be interactions between your own characters. For example, if Character 1A Gibbs-Slabs Character 1B, that will be allowable. But if Character 1A tries to Gibbs-Slap Character 2A, that becomes a situation under my control. For the most part, I'm going to let minor actions between characters slide, and plan to only really step in if there's an intent to actually harm or kill another character. Interactions with the world are entirely my domain. However, the results will be on a sliding scale of sorts, as opposed to the rigid scale used in Coyote's Challenge. So, you probly won't die from kicking a rock or otherwise inteacting with something that shouldn't be capable of killing you. Contextual success and failure, vs absolute success and failure. I think this should help make the RP more fun, while still maintianing a level of control. In the end, what I post goes. So make sure that you're clear in your postings, to avoid confusion.

2: This is the world of Sat-AM, within the Sat-AM timeframe. Part of the fun of that means that it's a cartoonish reality with future tech, magic, magic/tech hybrids, and all sorts of other nifty stuff. So perty much any character will be welcome here, providing that they aren't so powerful as to be able to break the RPG. As such, I'll be judging characters by their profiles. You may not deviate your RP characters from their profiles, with the exception of the psychological profile section. A few hard rules involving characters are as follows:

2a: Characters may NOT know Vlad, The Warwolf or her crew, Rick Tyger, The XF, AK, D-13, D-1391, Thylans, or Omnians. The main reason for this is simple: These are my creations and I've put a lot of time and effort into their most intricate details. I doubt any of you have the capacity to proply pull off a character having knowledge of these things without constantly PMing me for the info. So, no. None of that. Also, no one may instantly know where the Edgecrusher is. That would ruin the RPG. The Edgecrusher appeared in S-2AM prior to the emergence of sentient life on Mobius. It has long-since been buried under sedimentry rock. And what lays atop that rock is a mystery. Any and all information pertaining to stuff about the Edgecrusher is limited to ancient legends about strange green glows, or weird sounds, or haunted or cursed grounds.

2b: Characters may not be squicky. No chronic masterbaters, pregnent characters, overtly sexual characters (keep kinks and whatnot out of the rpg), genderswapping characters, or really any sort of character that can't be put into a PG rated setting do to something that isn't violence or profanity. Also, no suicides. I don't support the idea of suicide, and I don't like condemning somone else's characters to Hell (or worse).

2c: Characters may not be immortal. Not even the GM's characters are immortal. Psudo-immortality is allowable, though. I don't expect death to be much of an issue, anyway, as we're dealing with more of a cartoonish reality, here. Your characters will be allowed to survive many situations that would be deadly in other RPGs. But, it IS Sat-AM's world and death IS an option. Also, being roboticised does not equal death. It will simply make everything you want to do into a hard action fo chance, until your mind is freed.

2d: No insta-kill abilities or weapons. That would break the RPG.

2e: Limit 3 characters per player, total (1 at a time, 2 and then 1, 1 and then 2, however you wanna divvy it up). Exception to this is SWATBOTs. If I can get someone to play the SWATBOTs, they can have up to 10 active at once, indefinitely. If I can't, then you may have control of 3 SWATBOTs at a time (with infinite substitutions when they get killed) in addition to whatever active charaters you have. Players who lose all 3 of their characters will be given the option to keep playing with a group of 5 active SWATBOTs (with infintite substitutions).

2f: Feel free to modify whatever other RPG characters you have so they fit in with the rules. You may also use characters from outside sources (tv shows, videogames, cartoons, comic books, reality, etc.). Or, if you'd like an you think you can pull it off, you can use existing Sat-AM characters.

2g: Your characters may be good, evil, neutral, lawful, chaotic, bad, indifferent, self-serving, completely unaligned, or whatever other such alignment you choose. Character alignments are allowed to change during the RPG.

3: Expanding upon 2b. Don't post squicky stuff. Your characters will suffer greatly if you do. If that doesn't deture the offenders, they will be banned from the RPG. Unfortnately, I'm going to have to include gore into this one. Normally, I like gore, but it just doesn't fit with the nature of the RPG this time...

4: Only energy weapons get unlimited ammo. And even then, they may break down. If you want tons of ammo, you'd better hope you find it, or see to it that your character has it to begin with.

5: Late-comers to the RPG will be welcome.

6: The players are allowed to work out their own stories, so long as those stories don't start excluding other players or the GM. You may not hijack my RPG. But you may contribute significantly to it. I'm making this a very open-ended story. For this reason, you're encourgaed to be creative and detailed with your posts.

7: Limit 1 post per turn. If you want to post questions, do it here. Also, limit one speech and action per character per post. As a sub-section of this, your characters must act if you want them to preform an action. Otherwise, it's going to be inferred that they're standing still. So, if your character is supposed to be walking along with another character and talks, but doesn't walk, then they stop walking. If you forget to post a response from 1 or more of your characters, it will be assumed that they're standing there looking stupid.

8: Time limit of 1 week between turns, unless enough people convince me otherwise. Let me know if you've got something coming up and will need to be gone and we'll pause the RP for you, or work out something so your characters can take a break and come back into the story later. You get 3 weeks worth of missed turns in a row before I kill your characters.

Take your time. You know I'm a writer and like to get into detail. Go ahead and post any questions here you may have. That saves me from having to answer multiple PMs on the same topic. I condensed a LOT of what I wrote, there. Also, Firefox's spell checker doesn't seem to like the FUS boards much, as it keeps refusing to work here.

Better late than never. :evo: I've had a year to come up with this stuff. It's helped keep me from going stir-crazy.

 

GM's Characters:

Name: Vladjrstk (Vlad-jar-stick [No specific meaning. Just a Zarvoxian name.]) Klwkfnnl (Kill-wik-ff-nn-ll ["Black Fire", in Zarvoxian]). More commonly known by the alias "Vlad Yvhv".

Species: Omnian (Origionally: Zarvoxian Black Fire Dragon). Long explination cut short: The Omnians are to the Things (from the 1982 and 2011 movies) what wolves are to the bacteria that lived in the primordial ooze on Earth. Each cell within an Omnian colony (which we may call a body) is its own sentient life form, with its own mind and soul. The strengths of these minds and souls determine their place within Omnian society. Typically, an Alpha emerges as the strongest mind and soul, and is granted control over the others in that colony. Vlad is a Supreme Alpha, far stronger than even a large group of more conventional Alphas. He is able to bend the wills of his colony to suit his own purposes. Omnians are gene-shifters, capable of toying with their own genetics as one might do with a tub of LEGOs. They're also capable of learning new genetic blueprints through the process of assimilation, which turns other living cells into Omnians. A single Omnian cell can assimilate any other biological cell, thus starting a chain reaction within that cell's host body. They can also incorperate engeneered and viral DNA into their "database" of genetic information. They are capable of imitating any form of cell they have information on, and can modify these designes to suit their own needs. They can also create new types of cell structures, by combining and/or altering pre-existing genetic information. Ultimately, Omninas have no official affiliation to anyone or anything other than themself. However, most Omnians tend to support the idea of the Omnian Confederation (a loose organization of Omnian Colonies that aims to unite the Omnians) and tend to follow the belief that Omnins are an instrument of God. Omnians were created through a freak act of nature that continues to be considered as "scientifically impossible" by most scientists who study the information on it. Many eons ago, the predecessors of the Omnians were created in a lab, as a type of petrolium-consuming ameaba, intended to help save their world from not-so-natural disasters. They were released into an oil slick, struck by a black lightning bolt (the origins and precise nature of which is still giving the scientific world fits), and mutated into cells that would be well-familiar to John Carpenter. They assimilated the entier biosphere of their home planet and used their newfound intelligence to leave it. Over time (and countless assimilations, throughtout equally countless worlds in countless dimensions), they evolved into the Omnians. They chose this name for themselves because it basically means "All-lifeforms". Omnians are physically asexual, but most retain the gender-identity of their mind/soul. Biologically, Omnian colonies are very efficient. They're capable of recycling resources for very long periods of time before producing un-recyclable wastes or using energy for energy-based attacks.

Gender: Male.

Age: (simplified to Vlad, himself) 4,000,100,340 years (our Earth time). Varies by cell (300 trillion cells in his colony. I'm a WRITER, not GOD, people...)

Physical Description (Zarvoxian Dragon): 7ft tall humanoid black dragon. Single row of forward-facing spikes along the center of his head, resembilng a mowhawk. At the base of the skull, these spikes change direction and split along the neck into 2 rows, and again to 3 rows along the back, then back to 2 along the base of the tail, and then back to a single row until the tail tip. Tail tip is roughly 13 inches long and resembles a 4-bladed dagger or arrowhead, with each blade being rather sharp, coming to a point roughly the size of a hypodermic needle at the tip of the tail. Venom glands located inside the tail, protected by thes blades. Modified venom glands behind the jaw allow for the production of a mucus-like binary fluid that is best described as biological napalm. Individually, these 2 types of venom are simply caustic and sticky neurotoxins. Squirted from fangs located int the back of the throat, the fluids combine to form a self-igniting "bio-napalm", which burns with the intensity of rocket fuel and is neraly impossible to be removed from conventional surfaces, short of removing the outer layers of the afflicted surface. Black hair in a mullet-ish style. Red reptiallian eyes (bioluminescence may allow them to glow, but default shade is blood red). Teeth are fang-like and curved slightly inward and backward. Canines are larger and serrated. Hands and feet are humanoid, with sharp black claws. Athletic/slightly muscular build. Black pants and short-sleeved shirt. Crossed platinum lightning bolt pins on either side of his shirt collar. Black stone shard on a leather strip around his neck. Walks barefoot.

Physical Description (Cosmic Horror): 13-foot diamiter spherical blob of ever-shifting flesh. Commonly referred to as an "ambultory tumor". Fond of mixed biological components, such as eyes that have mouths for pupils.

Physical Description (Blade Arm): Very similar in form and function to the "Whip Fist" in the Prototype games. A sharp blade, attached to a spike-covered tenticle. Can be used for close combat, mid-ranged combat (as a living bladed whip), and as a ranged "harpoon" (fired and retracted similar to a frog's tongue).

Psychological Profile: Varies somewhat. Vlad is almost always toying around with his own personality. Sometimes the more upstanding heroic type, sometimes the psychopatic villain. Though, he distinctly hates the idea of being cinsidered evil, he will gladly admit to being "chaotic". He is a scientist and thourougly enjoys the opportunity to study and colloect new and unique things. He's quite proud of his crew and they are the few beings he would risk his own existance to save. He is capable of friendship and values those he can truly call "friend" greatly. He is perhaps mellowing a bit in his old age. There are very few things that can truly surpise him, and he is usually glad to find such things. He wants to find the Edgecrusher, because Sven Ravenhawk was once one of his collegues.

Alignments: Chaotic Good-Chaotic Neutral. Exceptionally rare for him to embrace a truly evil alignment.

Powers/Abilities: Gene-shifter (Can alter his form to suit his needs). Assimilation (can turn others into Omnian Colonies, or incorperate them into his own). Fireproof (Being a Zarvoxian Fire Dragon, he was born with an immunity to fire. This has carried on to his colonly when he was assimilated). Stronger Than He Looks (capable of extreme feats of strength). Fast reflexes (A fraction of Sonic's speed, but still faster than most other biological life forms). Immune To Acid, Toxins, Radiation, and Bases (assimilation of extremophiles, internal parasites, and plantlife have resulted in immunites to these). Electrically Resistant (assimilated some life forms that have a natural resistance to basic electrical shocks). Base Physical Damage Immunity (go punch a swarm of wasps and you'll get the idea. :evo: Seriously, though... The same basic situation applies to Omnians: A colonly can break apart and re-group at will, down to the cellular level. You'll have to attack an individual cell to damage it.). Variable Senses (assimilation of countless species has given this colony a wide assortment of senses beyond the conventional 5 used by more conventional life forms. Includes Sonar, Full-Spectrum Vision, and the ability to sense changes in air pressure). Optical Stealth (by shifting the outer layer of cells to chromatophores, the colony can imitate the lighting and colors directly oppoite to all angles of the body).

Weaknesses: Intense electrical current will bypass the colony's electrical resistance and disrupt neural pathways between Omnian cells, causing his colony to freak out. In a freak-out state, Vlad has limited, or no control over the colony, and they may become a theat to all around them. The colony has a tendency to revert to "Cosmic Horror" form in this state, limiting mobility, communication, and various other skills. Also, while it is impossible to kill Omnians with cold, but they may still be frozen solid for indefinite amounts of time, and intense cold may cause them pain. Extreme pain also disrupts Omninan cellular communication. Conservation of Mass (Vlad's colony weighs around 333 lbs, reguardless of size-shifting). Biological Ammo Expense (bio-ammo takes a toll on food/energy supplies, meaning that Vlad needs to feed and rest to restore them). Temproary sensory overload (It's possible to overload Vlad's senses if he has them attuned to too high a senseitivity).

Weapons: Blade Arm, Bio-Chainsaws (Bio-weapons configured to resemble chainsaws), Bio-Gatling (Gatling-gun arm comprised of advanced biotech. Fires bone shards, quills, or fangs), Claws (variable size), Fangs (varialbe size), Combat Tenticles (mostly smaller versions of the Blade Arm, but may also be maces or claws, or even bio-chainsaws), Kordova Alvo (a Sub-Colony that has chosen to stay with Vlad. Resembles the Hunter's Rifles from Prey. Capable of firing 39 mid-level plasma bolts or 13 high-level "sniper rounds" per day, with adequate sugar intake), Bio-Laser Cannon (Can produce a singe, massive laser blast once a week).

Notable Posessions: The stone.

History: Vlad's story begins in the far reaches of our own dimension, far across our own Universe... On the world of Zarvoxia. Vlad was born into an odd clan. Typically, black Kordovian Dragons were only capable of producing an electrically charged venom. The ability to produce bio-napalm gave them some clout and eventually led to them being a clan of mostly scientists. Vlad's path to becoming an aerospace engeneer wasn't so much guided by his family, as it was of his unearthing of the meteroite that destroyed his family's swimming pool one summer. The stone shard that he wears is the largest fragment of that meteorite. Though much hard work and determination, he became a master engeneer. When the Omnians arrived in that sector of the Universe, Vlad was commissoned to design the Zarvoxian fleet to destroy them. His designes were similar to what we would eventually build as the SR-71 Blackbird. This was the Wolf Class Destroyers. As the Omnians neared, Vlad built a massive Wolf Class Destoyer: The Warwolf (reclassifed as a Behemoth Class Destroyer), capable of obliteraing an entire solar system in short order. The Warwolf's biggest innovation was the "Quantum Energy Disruption Cannon" (which does as it says: disrupts the quantum energy fo a target, causing it to fall apart at the quark level), which was capable of actually killing the massive Omnian Bio-Ships (colonies of Omnians organized into living ships). With the completion of the Warwolf, Vlad was awarded the rank of Fleet Admeral, and tasked with leading the assault on the Omnian forces. The Warwolf was designed to be impervious to Omnian infiltration, with no inter-connected cavities. The only way to get to one area of the ship from another was via teleportaion, controlled by the onboard RI, Wolf, and verrified by Vlad. Even the air was circulated by teleporting it though a bio-filter. Vlad made one mistake in his strategy: He promoted his best friend Jessica Vlstok (vull-stock ["Nova-Wolf", in Zarvoxian]) to be the Warwolf's captain. Jessica had managed to get herself assimilated and proceeded to assimilate Vlad. This caused a conflict of interest for Vlad. He attempted to broker a peace between the Omnians and Zarvoxians. The Zarvoxians attempted to override Wolf and force her to kill Vlad and Jessica. When this proved impossible, they ordered the fleet to attack the Warwolf. Vlad had installed a fail-safe in the fleet's ships, and those that tried to fire upon him self-destructed. Unfortuately for the Zarvoxians, this was the entire fleet. Only the Warwolf was left. Vlad gave the Zarvoxians a final chance to broker peace. There were groups who supported this idea (most were friends and family of Vlad and Jessica). These groups were slaugtered as traitors by the Zarvoxian ground forces, on the order of the government. Vlad turned the Disruption Cannon on Zarvoxia, in return. The planet was reduced to sub-atomic dust. Vlad built a smaller ship for Jessica (The Warfox), and set out to explore the Omniverse. Occasionally, they would meet up and compare their collections. Roughly 3 billion years ago, they established the Omnian Confederation, in an attempt to curb the in-fighting amonst various Omnian colonies. At one point, he stopped by D-13 and met Sven Ravenhawk, a scientist with a similar drive for exploration as his own. 340 years ago, Vlad assimilated Texarcana Yvhv on Thylos-13 and took on his last name. Tex was a cyberneticist who had built a Synth that was exceptionally good at destroying other machines: Lynyxya (Lyn-ex-ee-uh, "Destoyer of War Machines" in Ancient Thylan) Yvhv. Vlad freed Lyn's mind of the constraints of being an AI and upgraded her to an RI, allowing her true sentience and freedom. Lyn chose to remain as a fighter in the Machine Games (Thylan equivilent of a demolition derby, using remote controlled or AI/RI driven war machines) for 39 years, until she grew bored. Lyn was granted full cizenship within the Thylan Empire, by King Jason Wolf, and became a great hero to its people. She chose to follow Vlad on his travels and in return was granted the rank of Captain of the Warwolf. Lyn has since been helping Vlad maintian his sanity and generally keeping him on a less villainous path. Recently, Vlad's travels have led him back to D-13, where he's struck up a alliance with the XF. It was through that alliance that he was given the opportunity to find the Edgecrusher and add a reverse-engeneered copy of its powerplant to his collection. The prospect of a power source capable of producing energy in quantaties so massive that they require an entiely new definition (The Edgecrusher Unit Of Power) to avoide astronimically large numbers of incredibly hard to pronounce units of measurement. Though his work, Vlad located AK and freed her mind as an RI, like he had done with Lyn. Eventually, they worked out the basic formulas to the Edgecrusher's teleportaion equipment. They would be able to teleport to the same dimension, but not the same time. And so they did.

Name: Ayo-Kakke (ay-oh Kahk-keh "Hawk-Raven" [Literal Muskogeean translation, inferred to also mean "Raven-Hawk"]) Ravenhawk. Commonly called "AK".

Species: RI. Real Intelligence. A sentient computer, free of mental constriants. RI's typically posess sythentic souls, which are funtionally identical to biological souls. Particular variant utilzes quantum computing.

Gender: Female.

Age: Roughly 3,000,000 years. Precise dating is near-impossible.

Physical Description: A black metallic tetrahedron (same shape as a d4 die), with 13 inch sides. Nanotech allows for some alteration of form. Typically floats at rougly head-height to Vlad.

Psychological Profile: Created to be an assistant, AK has chosen to enbrace that roll, at least for a while. She wishes to retrieve the Edgecusher and redeem the tarnished Ravenhawk name. Though she is less of a warrior-type than Lyn, she is far from being useless in combat. She tends to rely more on calculated strikes when opportunity allows, but is fully willing to charge in, guns blazing when the situation calls for it. Typical approach to most situations is "float softy and keep the Sundogs charged". Rather soft-spoken most of the time.

Alignments: Good. Precise alignment varies between neutral, lawful, and chaotic, as the situation dictates.

Powers/Abilities: Flight. Nanotech (allows for form alteration and reconstruction of damage). Remote-Hacking of advanced AI-controlled systems. Posesses schematics for most any type of power tool imaginable.

Weaknesses: Lightning is strong enough to disrupt her quantum computing and control over her nanotech, resulting in a forced emergency shutdown. Not completely acid-proofed. Not unbreakable. Ammo requires consumption of raw materials, beyond initial stores. Limited by size (can't size-shift or create massive weapons or tools).

Weapons: Variable ajustment lasers, gatling guns, Sundogs (plasma balls magnetized to a specific target's EM signature), micro-missiles, robotic saw arms, most anything she can work up.

Notable Posessions: N/A.

History: Created to be Professor Sven Ravenhawk's personal assistant. She helped him and his team solve the problems related to creating the Edgecrusher's powerplant. Was memory-wiped and put into storage following the Edgecrusher's failure to rematerialize. Uncovered and upgraded by Vlad. She chose to help him, in an effort to reclaim her memories and restore the Ravenhawk name.

Etc: Voice is similar to the Knower of Names from Neverwinter Nights. Very loosely based on a very, very old character I had created back in the late 80's.

Species: VTOL.

Gender: Presumed Female (it's a machine).

Age: Rougly 3,000,000 years.

Physical Description: An aircraft of similar overall size to an F-14. Longer nose/fusaloge (sp? spellchecker is not working), Main wings angled slightly downward, tail wings angled slightly upward. Single large trapezoidal rear afterburner. Vent-style body-jets for VTOL functions. Shiny black paintjob.

Psychological Profile: N/A. No AI.

Alignments: N/A. Same as whoever's flying her.

Powers/Abilities: Vertical Take-Of and Landing. Hover Mode is capable of reaching speeds up to 300 mph. Flight Mode is capable of exceeding Mach 3.5, for short periods of time, or sustained 3.1 indefinitely. Foxx Industries Replication Fuel Cell allows for infinite full. Nanotech allows for extensive physical reconstruction. Capable of firing lasers from any point on the body.

Weaknesses: At speeds of Mach 3.2 and above, the nanotech starts to shut down, making the RH-13X more vulnerable to attack (good luck catching her, though :evo: )

Weapons: Variable focus laser, Novawolfs (larger versions of the Sundogs, explode on contact), Psycho Missiles (anti-tank missiles that fly in seemingly random directions to avoind being shot down, and converge on targets from multiple angles).
