Wow man, it's been quite some time. I still lurk around from time to time, but I remember when you and Epoch were the bottom line in SatAM fan games. I've played both versions, and while I liked the DOS version better for various reasons, it was cool to have a version you could put on an actual flash cart for GBA and play around town. Either way, welcome back to FUS and I look forward to seeing more from you good sir.
Yeah, I had my glory days way back when.
I'm probably more nostalgic about the DOS version myself, too. It was really more or less the original vision, problems aside. For now I reference the GBA version since it's the only "complete" one at this time. I'm not satisfied with that, but it is what it is.
Also I mentioned earlier I'd do this, I made an edited video of Epoch GBA being played by a couple guys who comment on it and largely read it aloud. (Specifically the guy didn't read it in the first part of his video series then started to after that, which is kind of fun.) I just felt it was a tad more interesting than reading text silently. I also have no qualms of their criticisms, though I think the player overall somewhat enjoyed the game. "I've read worse." Also in the video description (on the main YouTube site) are a bunch of handy timestamp jumps to access particular scenes and things.
If you care, it's SPOILERS, since it covers the whole plot of the game. Also, warning if you're not familiar with Epoch, a lot of stuff like Tails excessive cursing was for shock value at the time. I don't support this anymore, but again, this is what it is. If you're sensitive to "shocking", don't watch it...
I plan to make an actual Epoch thread later and get some community input on issues that effect Epoch. I am curious what people think about certain aspects of it.
