Inquisitor: I believe YOU will be answering that question, Lord-Marshall, along with what a powerful Xeno is doing summoning the Legio Damnatus on this planet.

Hospitaller: His heresy must be great to attract the Damned! We must purge him!

Interrogator: I will indeed enjoy this.

MV: ...I wasn't informed of an Inquisitory presence!

Interrogator: Nobody expects the Imperial Inquisition. Your guards certainly didn't.

*he opens the door to reveal a LOT of dead guardsmen.*

Kirkov:  Master-Vox, that's another dock in pay for you....

[Kirkov straitens his uniform]

Kirkov:  The Situation here is largely due to miscommunication on my scouts part.  Having known what we were up against from the beginning, I would have had the situation handled by properly.

Inquisitor: Miscommunication is an understatement, Marshall Kirkov. From our auspex scans, this xeno has built-in cooling rods, determining him to be a sort of cyborg xeno abomination.

*a Power Glove falls on Kirkov's shoulder, as his dear friend Lord Inquisitor Hall emerges from his study.*

Hall: Inquisitor Makarov, you must be mistaken. Your auspex scans would determine it as a machination, possibly made in a crude mockery of it's xeno creator's anatomy. 

Makarov: Lord Inquisitor...I had no idea you were stationed-

Hall: You KNEW my station, Makarov, all Lord Inquisitor stations are noted in the Ordo Xenos Librarium's dataslates on all of the assigned Ordo Headquarters. My investigations of the Tau are bolstered in this sector.

*the Sister Hospitaller in Makarov's retinue looks genuinely crestfallen.*

Kirkov:  Ah Inquisitor Hall, I feared interrupting your studies would have been counter-productive for a lone Xenomorph.  For once I may be wrong on that.  

[Reed Teran]

Hall: Ah, but dear Kirkov, this might not be some lone Xenomorph. Those acid-spitting monstrosities are an easy hunt found only in Ultima Segmentum. This Xeno machine has been reported in the Eastern Fringe by the Salamanders on a total of 2 Fringe Worlds, which no longer exist. IT is apparently running on some sort of nuclear power.

Makarov: How could a small machine cause 2 whole worlds to cease to exist?

Hall: It is confirmed to use violent nuclear discharges to relieve intense irritation or anger, causing supermassive nuclear explosions. IT simply...obliterated the planets.

Makarov: What?! We must stop it!

MV: We've thrown four Stormswords at it, none of them are reporting back.

Makarov: Damnation!

Hall: It is possible that this thing may be able to withstand most conventional weaponry. It may have a metallic coating similar to the metal making up the Necron menace.

[RedAuthar]

Kirkov:  Necrons...could they be behind this? 

[Reed Teran]

Hall: Good guess, Kirkov, it is a good possibility. But as I said before, the machine obviously resembles a Xeno of some kind, sort of a shorter Beastman.

Makarov: Then would it be classified as a metahuman machine?

Hall: No. 

Makarov: Then what do we do?

Hall: Obviously, the firepower of the Astra Militarum is useless against it. We must lure it away from this world, possibly to our Tau Rivals. Or even to that blasted craftworld covered in Orks floating around in the system. How they acquired a damned CRAFTWORLD is beyond my knowledge.

[RedAuthar]

Kirkov:  It seems to react against aggression.  The Orkz could keep it busy for a looong time.....or they could worship it as one of their gods.....Tau it is.  

[Reed Teran]

(I'm so glad I did that RPG all that time ago.)

Hall: But...how we would lure him to the Tau is a mystery to me. Maybe he could jump ship with the Orks and get them to crash on Hades V to mess with the Tau.

[RedAuthar]

Kirkov:  Bringing the Orkz into the conflict perhaps wiping out them as well.  Brilliant!  All we have to do is get him on an Ork vessel.  Now we just need an Ork dumb enough to pull that off. 

[Reed Teran]

*Hall chuckles*

Hall: Or a very potent Psyker to influence their decisions. Abri! Come forth!

*out of Hall's study comes a somewhat-teenage-looking Eldar girl, clad in Acolyte Robes. IMMEDIATELY, Makarov and his retinue point their weapons at her, causing her to, well, cower behind Hall.*

Makarov: Lord Inquisitor?! What is the meaning of this heresy?!

Hall: It is ordained studies approved by the Ordo Xenos, Makarov.

Hospitaller: HERETIC! That is an ELDAR WITCH!

[RedAuthar]

Kirkov:  .....whoa wait a minute...you brought and Eldar....into my Headquarters......where all our top secret planning, is without telling anyone or anyone noticing?

[Glares at the MV]

Kirkov:  Is my personal security a bunch of idiots? 

[Reed Teran]

Hall: All were duly informed. She is sanctioned by the Ordo Xenos Grandmaster, Azarian Kazur.

Makarov:...Grandmaster Kazur approved of this?

*Hall holds out a dataslate brandishing the stamp of the Grandmaster.*

Hall: He did indeed. Worry not, Kirkov. I would not have brought her without such permissions.

[RedAuthar]

Kirkov: I have no doubts of that. I just surprised that no one on my staff seemed to notice.

[Reed Teran]

Hall: She's been in my study for the duration of her stay. Besides...come out now, Abri.

*she wanders out to his side, bringing her fancy, gold-inlayed Explosive Collar into view.*

Hall: She deserts, I detonate.

Sister Hospitaller: You probably perform...VILE Slaaneshi acts on her, you filth!

Hall: If I were, it would probably be for experimentation, as is the rules of the Ordo. How would you know of any sort of Slaaneshi acts, Sororitas?

*the Hospitaller goes silent...*

[Raven]

"I do this not to damn myself, but to rid myself of restrictions." Sigma says as he stares at Sicarius, his eyes glowing brightly. With a flash of light, Sigma temporarily hinders any spacial distortions, preventing Sicarius from teleporting. At blinding speeds, Sigma reaches out and grabs Sicarius, a flash of light coming from the contact point. "Quantum link established." He says before he flings his leg up and kicks Sicarius in the side of the head.

[Reed Teran]

*with this flash of light severing spacial distortions, the material projection of Sicarius is dispelled, as he was in the Warp the whole time. All Sigma can hear at this point is screeching, birdlike laughter. Tzeentch is toying with him from the Warp.*

[Raven]

"A projection, hmmm? How irritating. Maybe you fools will get serious with a bit of nuclear contamination." Sigma says as radioactive gas jets out of the holes left by the missing control rods. 

[Reed Teran]

*Being safe deep in the literal Hell Dimension that is the Warp, Tzeentch just cackles, and projects HIMSELF, as a 10-foot-tall avian creature clad in egyptian stylings, that basically only Sigma can see*
