The golem again roars in pain as it slowly rises to it's feet. On it's chest, a few boulders crumble to reveal a glowing mass of energy.
"There! In it's chest! Glowing spots are always weak spots in video games! Aim there!" Yells Dirge as he climbs up and starts to smash several boulders on the golem's back to distract it.

The glowing orb cracks when shot, the golem roars again then falls apart, the boulders rolling around in a uniform pattern, before reforming a ways away, the chest plates back in place to guard the orb.

"It's not running..." Says Dirge as the golem lifts a boulder the size of a 50 story building above it's head, readying to throw it at the party.

"Just some advice: Run!" Dirge yells and bolts off to the field just as the golem throws the boulder. Dirge is stopped when another massive spike like foot lands in front of him, stopping him dead. He looks up to see that its the leg of an incredibly tall giant, the Field Stryder.
"Ah, fuck me..."

(TO be honest, banishing boss level beasts is pretty cheap. And the Stryder is to give the battle a little more dynamics.)
