Ha. Pictured next to a Raiders ad. That jokester.
Now. The real question.
Does this change the meaning of the plot of the AVGN Movie or enhance it?

I think the real question is "... There's an AVGN movie? Seriously? Like, didn't that shit get old real fast?"

It got old slow. But I hear ya.

I wouldn't even say slow. I started watching AVGN back in like 2007 and by 2009 I wasn't finding myself really caring or seeking to watch new episodes because the show did the same thing every episode:
.Nerd picks a crappy/not all that crappy game, usually it's a movie tie in game.
.Nerd plays game. Pretty badly.
.Nerd says "Shit"
.Nerd says "Fuck"
.Nerd says "Shitfuck"
.Nerd says why game is bad, sometimes using things which don't exactly make it terrible.
.Nerd "destroys" game.
Yeah I found myself drifting away from the Nerd. Now I don't hate him and I can respect the fact he has made something a lot of people get enjoyment out of and something many have tried to mimick and failed at, but it got old and stale real fast. Saying shit and/or fuck repeatedly does not make comedy gold. Plus he use to churn out videos fast so it wore out it's welcome.
Now the guys at RedLetterMedia I find enjoyment out of (but maybe it's because I'm more of a movie guy then a video game player). These guys do multiple projects, like their Half in the Bag movie review series, their Best of the Worst series and more importantly/famously, the Mr. Plinkett reviews. While Half in the Bag is the show they've done the most of, they try to spice things up by giving it an actual storyline inbetween the review segments and they end up reviewing all sorts of movies. The Best of the Worst stuff is always fun because they take 3 crappy movies, watch them and then usually a group of 4 of them will discuss said movies and try to conclude which was the best and what was the worst one, usually destroying the worst one in a creative way. And while their Plinkett reviews are the most popular and most requested, they produce them once, maybe twice a year, so when it comes along, it feels like a special occassion and a reward for all the waiting and it's always worth the wait. Plus they have made a few movies which I really enjoyed.
AVGN to me has out stayed his welcome and he did it long ago. He offered nothing new to his series. Its like he saw that what he was doing was working but didn't see the need to try and better it. He was happy just saying "Shitballs" and "Fuckfarts" and every other rage catchphrase he could come up with by combining Shit and Fuck to it.

How much you wanna bet there are those out there willing to pay good money for some of those cartridges if they are still playable?
Not me, however. Masochistic, I am not.

Maybe they can redo it and actually make a good game now

Here's the thing. Finding the Cartridges in the landfill actually proves nothing. The Game was bad, I can see people throwing them out. In fact even ones returned to a store would have gotten thrown out. They have to find a whole low more than a few cartridges to prove this Urban Myth.

They are finding more, they just scratched the surface
