@  furrykef : (25 July 2015 - 03:35 AM)

When was that? Depending on when it was, it might have been a DNS issue. Those should be gone now.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

on*

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

Sammy's old Empire of Dirt and his SoJ can burn...

SoJ was "traumatized" when Madeline Shroder wrote out the creepy Madonna character and Sonic's corny appeals to a distorted steryotype of American tastes and made him more unique and timeless and gave him a continuity. Tom Kalinski and his American "Razor and Blades" model  of salesmanship and made Sonic and SEGA a house hold name with the Genisis/Sonic One bundle. The market crew forced Walmart's hand  by advertising the heck out of Arkansas (the heart of the big business) into selling the product despite Nintendo's blackmails to pull their own products if they sold SEGA's new system. Then they got the toy stores on their side, resisting Nintendo's dirty dealing Bottom line SoA made Sonic and SEGA what he was in design and publication, taking over the Market Share Nintendo had a monopoly on in the mid 90's. They helped broaden the industry, while SoJ and it's horrible business deals of constantly pumping hardware over quality software neutered the company by the time of the Saturn...The Dream Cast was doomed to fail because due to their technological myopia.

Imagine what it would all be like if SoA stayed dominate and SoJ didn't fire Kalinski, the man who made the company sell in America (their target audience). He dared to question their bizzare hardware-fetish (Super Nintendo lasted longer than the CD-32X-Saturn). He told them to slow it down and to stick to one solid system so publishers could actually sell games for that said system for a profit rather than for the mere hardware.

SoA is hopefully coming back...SoA and Archie have been the only ones keeping Sonic alive despite all the emo Dopplegangers with guns and silly werehogs and lack of story. I hope SoA can give SoJ a stroke for all I care. Like Robert Kirkman's The Walking Dead, someone made a good idea and didn't know what to do with it, then messed up a well-selling comic in it's prime (read the fan letter some time, some reviewers now say it has descended in a "Red-neck game of thrones" and Kirkman admitted himself in a interview he messed up with maiming Rick). Luckily Kirkman's butt was saved by AMC came along, capitalized, and made it sale big time. SoA might  just be SoJ's AMC...

Honestly, the fact the Head of Sonic Team was traumatized by the designs makes me want this game even more. Sonic Team has been notorious for always messing up in some way shape or form, some aspect in every sonic game after the rushed Sonic 06 that makes each game just shy of excellent. It really comes down to if the thing they messed up matters to the overall quality of the game and most importantly, the gameplay. In Sonic Unleashed, it was poor implementation of the Werehog, (Which affects gameplay), Sonic Colors, gameplay was good but had such a bad story, Generations, Story could've been better, gameplay was too short, Sonic: Lost World: some of the level design was just bad. I'm looking forward to having a different company work on Sonic Boom, just because of the fact they don't have that track record of always messing something up (Either Major or Minor) in a game. Plus it's a return to the Adventure Style gameplay which I have been craving for years!

I think I'm liking this game more and more. Heck, if Team Sonic doesn't like it, then I'm all in!

Headline: Sonic Boom Developers Designs ‘Traumatized’ Visiting Team Sonic Boss.

If official concept art is traumatic, it's a safe bet that a random browsing of DeviantArt would prove fatal.

On a more serious note, they're insane to try limiting the game to the Wii U, especially after the abysmal sales of Lost World. The install base just isn't there. It's not that I want the Wii U to fail (annoyed as I am at Nintendo being a generation behind in hardware specs twice in a row, the industry thrives on competition), but if Lost World is any indication Sonic's not about to help save it. Even if it means jumping through legal hoops regarding contracts with Nintendo, Sega needs to jump ship as soon as possible like almost every other third-party publisher out there. Giving Sonic Boom ports to 360/PS3 (and possibly their eighth gen counterparts, depending on how the graphics turn out) would be a solid first step in the right direction.

Jumping ship from Nintendo would prove fatal. No company is going to wNt to work with them if they don't hold to their contracts.

Mostly likely a Nickname, Ben. :/

Don't judge before the games and the show come out. We can't completely judge by just a behind the scenes video.

Why do all Sonic fans instantly HATE new characters?

Why do all Sonic fans instantly HATE new characters?

Because they add a new character every game. The last good new character was Blaze.

Though anyone else see a little bit of Tiny Tina from Borderlands 2 in her?

From what I've seen of her so far, I think I'm gonna enjoy Sticks. Her hyperactive rambling cracks me up.

I'm really looking forward to this show.

Having finally had the time to watch the behind the scenes, I can say that, I'm REALLY looking forward to this new character. Particularly thanks to the Cuckoolander attitude.

People don't know whether or not they will like a new Sonic character until they read more upon the character's background, and personality

They were both pulled offline.

Amy's exclusive to Wii U and Sticks might be exclusive to 3DS.

Lyric has a cool design.

They may have been saving it for E3 and someone there made a mistake or leaked it.
