That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I haven't been able to post anything since the update using Firefox. I'm having to use Internet Explorer to post this, which...well, yeah.

 

Any idea when this'll be fixed?

I tested it out in Firefox just now and I noticed something very strange. In Firefox it was kicking me over to new.sonicsatam.com, which is only supposed to happen if DNS changes hadn't propagated yet. But the DNS had propagated for me in Chrome hours ago, mere minutes after I switched the site over. While this was happening it wouldn't let me post to use the Shoutbox. By the time I made a test post in the 10,000 Pages thread, I think the DNS finally updated, so I was able to post. That's probably what's happening to you, Captain Sorzo. The good news is, if it hasn't fixed itself yet, it will very soon.

I don't know why it's doing this, because I specifically set up the whole thing to use 307 redirects and not 302 redirects to ensure that POST commands should pass through properly. (In plain English: I specifically set it up so that actions like posting to the forum should work without issue.) Oh well, whatever. In half a day or so everyone's DNS should be updated if it hasn't been already and this problem will be gone for good.
