They're called Star Wars fans. They send death threats to movie theaters over showing the Star Wars movies in 3d or Walmart for selling the blue rays where the swims blink.Okay, so apparently this new look and world is "Another Universe" thingy and will not effect the normal game cannon:

After a bunch of the game fans came unglued on Facebook about the redesigns Team Sonic stated:
So, there you have it.
I swear, these "modern" game fans should try being SatAM fans for a while; I'm part of many fanbases, but have never seen one as bad as the Sonic ones. I for one actually kind of like the "Sonic Boom" look.
Honestly the days of wearing undies outside your pants are coming to a close...That's good to hear!

Though superman looks wrong without them.

Very optimistic.
This game isn't being made by Sonic Team, but by a team made up of ex-Sony developers, Naughty Dog folks in particular. Naughty Dog gave us Jak and Daxter as well as Crash Bandicoot, so you can expect good quality platforming.
The press reaction looks to make this the most hyped game since Generations as well, and I think Sonic could be catapulted back into the limelight by all of this.
The designs will take some getting used to but they're already growing on.
I predict great things in the future of the Great Hedgehog.
Also shouldn't this be moved to the Games subforum?

...and yet despite all this, I still have "Sonic Boom" from Sonic CD going through my head as I read this thread. MAKE IT STOP!

It seems that instead of a continuing story there doing the AOSTH style and make it the episode is in on it's own and not of a continuing story. best to explain it is matt's own video in his tailschannel youtube page which i'll happily link to now

Yeah. Which is both good and bad.
I think the show should take the Teen Titans approach. Each Season has an overlaying storyline but the individual episodes could be watched in pretty much any order. In fact when Cartoon Network aired the show most episodes were in the wrong order.

One example famous among Kevin Smith fans is that ABC aired Clerks: TAS episode 4 first, then episode 2. The problem was, the entire premise of episode 2 was that it was a clip show of a show that had only had one previous episode -- and of course the clips were all of episode 1, not 4. The network apparently did this because they wanted to lead off with the two funniest episodes, while apparently being completely blind to why episode 2 was funny. No wonder the show was canceled after that episode aired.

....did we really just talk about Clerks TAS....? We have reached a new level of.....something.
A large part of it is based on what episodes will bring in viewers/sell toys/make money.

And is there something wrong with that? Clerks: TAS was a pretty decent show that got fucked over badly by the network. And at times was pretty damn funny.
I would have gladly taken Clerks continuing then what Family Guy has turned into.
"The Devil Inside is the new scam from director William Something Something. The movie stars actors and was edited on a computer. Somewhere. This movie is the latest film in a series of very low budget films designed to look like real movies! And be released in theaters to make a quick buck via a horribly off kilter budget to profit ratio that the general public seem to be stupidly unaware of! These films use to be called 'direct to video' but now they are called 'first run features'. These films then vanish from the theaters, like a rapist leaving the scene of a crime." - Mike Stoklasa of RedLetterMedia

The Brain fiasco turned me off to the new episodes. I'm only sticking around for the movie and the Simpsons crossover.
