I'm looking into building a desktop soon. Never built one before but can't be too hard. Long as I pay attention to what I'm doing
I had my friend build it and he directed me on what parts i should get.
There's a lot of tools online to help you. PC Builder is a good one. And there's videos on YouTube to show you how to put it together.

*nods* That's why I use a grounding strap when I'm messing around inside a computer.
That, and back when I was working for the college I saw the Admin blow a brand new graphic card because the air was dry that day & he wasn't grounded. ![]()
Static electricity aside, building a system isn't very difficult. Deciding on which parts to use might frustrate ya bit tho'. As Ben said, there are online tools that can help ya with that part.
