That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

I'm looking into building a desktop soon. Never built one before but can't be too hard. Long as I pay attention to what I'm doing

I'm looking into building a desktop soon. Never built one before but can't be too hard. Long as I pay attention to what I'm doing

 

I had my friend build it and he directed me on what parts i should get.

 

There's a lot of tools online to help you. PC Builder is a good one. And there's videos on YouTube to show you how to put it together.

 

Note: Static electricity is your worst enemy when building it

*nods*  That's why I use a grounding strap when I'm messing around inside a computer. 

 

That, and back when I was working for the college I saw the Admin blow a brand new graphic card because the air was dry that day & he wasn't grounded. :whistle:

 

Static electricity aside, building a system isn't very difficult.  Deciding on which parts to use might frustrate ya bit tho'.  As Ben said, there are online tools that can help ya with that part.

Yeah. I've gotta look up what my needs are and what type of build will do that. But I'll figure something out.

At least I can always ask you lot to give me a hand when I get really stuck
