@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Bushiroad is introdusing a new TCG and is promising simultaneous release and updates for both English and Japanese formats of the game. They had already uploaded this first two episodes(english dubbed) on youtube:(Skip to episode 2 if you want some in game action)

Unlike Vanguard which was done by TMS this anime is being done by the same company that does the pokemon movies. I don't know if/when this game will take off or will be as popular as vanguard did. I've heard rumors of ads coming to Nickelodeon but nothing soild so far. If it really takes off I'll consider taking a break from yu-gi-oh.

Between this, Duel masters, and Yu-Gi-Oh, I won't be surprised if the Big Eyes Small Mouth RPG adds Duelist as a class.

*is tempted to pick up this game now*

Like I said before, skip over the 1st episode. From what I seen, it hasn't "yet" reached Zexal level corny-ness.

Also doing more research bushiroad has posted the deck lists for the trial decks and sadly Drum bunker is not in the dragon world trial deck(NOOO!!!!). Apart from the duelest actually able to fight alongside there monsters, the game also has impact cards that are basiclally fatalities that can only be played at the end of the game(when certain conditions are met). They are also hosting trial deck tournaments on the weekend of the launch but there aren't any in michigan, not that it matters since I have to work that weekend.

I found some actual gameplay videos:

Bushiroad's demo:

Two guys playing at the Chicago unveiling while also misplaying badly:

You can see the deck lists here:

You can get more info for each card on the wiki:

Cardfight Vanguard for the most part plays it stright(season 1 at least).

Oh I almost forgot to mention, Buddyfight cards are MTG sized so just a heads up before you by sleeves. Yugioh and vanguard cards are smaller than MTG so their sleeves won't fit, I tried to buyed some star wars sleeves for my yugioh deck at youmacon 2 years ago and the lady told me they would be too big for yugioh cards.

Finally an indepth look at basics of the game, and hints at the first story arc starting next week. That was fast, it took Vanguard till the teen episodes before the plot got going. Also it's nice they finally cleared up whether or not you needed a core gadget to play the game in the anime. Speaking of vanguard wtf is with the cameos of the main cast at 17:28, 18:09, and 19:16? I know Bushiroad owns both properties, so it's most likely an attempt to get vanguard fans to watch/play the game. Ladies and Gentlemen, may we have a moment a silence for the fourth wall that is now dead.

Anyway today is also the day the trial decks hit hobby shops, also trial decks tournaments are going on this weekend(none in michigan): here's a list of stores holding them:http://fc-buddyfight.../events/launch/

If you plan on going, use Danger world. I pre-ordered both trials a week ago and they came in the mail on Wednesday, I've been testing them and the game is really fast, like less than 10 mins fast. On top of that the danger world deck is really over powered compared to the dragon world deck.
