@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 10:10 PM)

Red said he couldnt get one

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Having weapons doesn't make a character a Mary Sue.  You've barely seen her do anything...

Not really. Giving her a weapon provides an advantage when it comes to defending herself. Now she doesn't have to rely on Sonic all the time.

Plus, they're fricken' awesome!

Look everybody Batman has a utlity belt full of weapons!

*Instant big eyed Sue.* xD

Wait...Benjamen Wulfsbane has Kukuri, claws, fangs, and in (EoT continuity) some secret abilities/trench-gun/and a 357. Double Switch-Mount Snub-Shot.

See Suedom comes from a lack of tension and challange. You can have a very strong character yet have them face an evqually or even strong challange (I.E Metal here).

I need to pick this issue up. It seems to have promise.

Mind I want Sally to be more rebellious to her father in this...I don't want her to be a suck up. It would be cool to see her question the monarchy.

I actually like having Sally being able to hold her own with these new weapons; another area where Sonic has 'one up' on Mario: Sonic's Princess can handle herself in a fight and is savvy enough to let him know where she's being held, so he doesn't waste his time in the meaningless destruction of castles.

F***ING BARAKA BLADES!!!!!! xD

When I saw that I freaked out, I was amazed and got hyped!!! Giving Sally some default weaponry is a good idea, ESPECIALLY if you lifted it off from Weaponized Mecha Sally in this case. Those Beam Blades were badass and I never would have imagined that she'd get them as a Mobian, reminds me of Sektor and Cyrax's Alternate Costumes from MK9. From this New World, all of our favorite SatAM/Archie Cast have gotten an upgrade to match The Sega Sonic Characters, Rotor is Stronger and Braver, Antoine got even better Sword Skills, Bunnie is still Bunnie and with her Cybernetics again, and Sally got BARAKA BLADES. I'm liking where the comic is headed and what other kind of stuff happens to The Knothole Crew. The Comic was great and the ending was quite smart, it's gonna be one hell of a ride and I'm looking forward to it!

Seriously, HOW THE HELL did nobody know that Robotnik was evil!? I mean just look at those red, glowing, hellish eyes, oh yeah I can completely trust that guy with my life! *sarcasm*

I agree, but I would've rather seen them be more like Wolverine's claws. I know, I know that's another comic....

That would have been too obvious and if it was in the same style as Logan's Claws people would have called bull on it, considering how The Blades showed up in The Old World it makes sense they are in the same style as they basically are now. I'd like to know how did she get them, were they made by Nicole? Was This Sally Robotizised before? Right now I'm calling her new weapon the Blade Bracelet (or Blade Rings), since they come from apparently the rings on her gloves. It's a nice tool and weapon and I got to wonder if she has more wonderful toys.

Cuz Peach never has held her own or done any of the work herself...

Going off topic here but Peach gets slammed more then she deserves, oh granted it's very odd how she supposedly never tries to escape and wait for Mario, but personally I thought that perhaps in every game she DOES try to escape but always fails, that maybe it takes just as much power to keep Peach Captured as it does to keep Mario Out. That would make sense, after all in her own game SHE SAVES Toads and The Mario Bros! Not to mention saving Subcon with them AND in the games Red Authar mentioned. In the manga that was brought over to Nintendo Power as Super Mario Adventures, Peach is a BADASS, stop laughing I'm not joking. Look up The Nostalgia Critic's Mario Comics are Awesome video and you'll see what I mean.

Boy, If anyone actually read my post I was just making a joke obviously about "The Princess" in the original game. As The Joker would say: "Why so serious?"

From the bottom of my heart I apologize for trying to make people laugh.

Oh...oh yeah there was a joke there...heh heh, sorry.

Well maybe I convinced some people that Peach is a badass now, so there's that. But I digress Sonic did one upped Mario first as Sally was a fighter from the start.

Thanks, I should probably make the joke more obvious next time and I'm sorry for my terse reply.

Anyway, yeah that's a definite one and I for one am happy to see Sally getting some powers.

The addition of weapons or gadgets does not a better character make. While I admit that I fancy the idea of Sally with a sword (with Antoine not having one) and plan on giving her one at some point down the road in my writings (don't hold your breath, Stranger; the sun's bound to have gone nova by the time I get that far), it would function as much as a symbol for numerous themes concerning lineage, monarchy, anointing, leadership, aggression, etc. as it would a weapon to smack things with. With Flynn, however, the addition of a weapon is likely just a means of being able to write Sal the same as everyone else in the pointless, weightless fight scenes that dominate the narrative, as it means he doesn't have to focus on her established strengths, which lie outside direct combat.

Well, the comic was intended to be an action series since the beginning. If you're looking for something deeper with lots of character development, you probably won't find it in a series centered around a fast hedgehog that makes a living off of battling robots.
