That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

Well then it has to be accepted that Shadow has some sort of super power. Doesn't mean it is speed, unless those shoes are venting chaos energy. But a power none the less.

Shadow can manipulate chaos energy to increase his abilities including speed, strength, and the like. However even so Sonic reaches these same speeds without the use of chaos energy. When Sonic manipulates chaos energy he is even faster. So yeah Shadow is at least competing but still not near the title. Even Tails and Knuckles stand a better chance of winning the title than Shadow.

Shadow can still use his super abilities without a Chaos Emerald to tap into. So yeah, he still has super powers.

When are they called inhibitor rings? I thought they were just decoration... like Amy's! O.O

Only in Sonic X and sonic 06, but it is generally accepted as such.

Yeah Shadow Can, though it's quickly established in SA2 that Shadow's speed is through the emeralds.

If that's the case, why was he so fast during his 2nd boss fight? Come to think of it, he was able to pull off chaos control/chaos spear without harnessing the emeralds (since they were plugged into the Eclipse Cannon at the time), and it surely wasn't from the fake emerald which Sonic had since he never touched the thing.

Hover Shoes.  This allows hims to still go fast.

 

Secondary:  He used Chaos Control using a emerald Rouge was holding while on Prison Island.  He doesn't have to hold the emerald to tap into its power.

 

Thirdly:  Nobody said it wears off.  He Might only have to absorb the energy once to use it for long periods of time.  

 

Lastly:  The Chaos Emeralds are not the only source of Chaos Energy.
