Personality: Henderson is absolutely way off his rocker, thanks to POKÈ-NAM, and barely actually battles. He doesn't associate with people mostly, because he has a sanity of NEGATIVE d10, and his stuffed parrot on his shoulder is his only confidant. He also distrusts children, and is vaguely scottish.
Background: Henderson was once in Pokè-Nam, and has since gone completely wacko. He lives in Pallet town mostly because cheap housing allows him to buy a shed to put his 50 lawngnomes in.

Reed, i do not allow this character. This character seems to be a troll character or just something you threw together just to see if you could pass through and get in. This was not a character that wasnt in my ideal target range. I reject this character, you may make a new one (thats actually a character i suggested) and may Talos have mercy on your soul.

Will the starters be the kanto starters or something you made up?

Each Starter you get will be from their respective Region.

 

So in Kanto you can pick either Charmander, Squitle, Bulbasaur (and if needed Pikachu and Eevee)

It was going to be the Lethal Joke Character, and I didn't expect to actually play. I actually despise Pokemon now.

Henderson is actually the result of my friend Mike's rage on a Call of Cthulhu session. He originally had a 320 page bio.

Question:  EXPLAIN HOW THE GAME WILL WORK!  Like is it turn based or free post?  How do turns work?  How does catching Pokemon work?  Are our characters a team or not?  What's the setting other than Kanto?  How do battles work?  Etc.

Like is it turn based or free post? Turn

 

How do turns work? Like a general Pokemon game. You select a move and the GM selects opponents move and the attacks hit or miss with the same Power and accuarcy as said moves. Movement is just average movement. Like 'Red walks into the tall grass and runs into a wild ______________.' or 'Red talks to Nurse Joy'

 

How does catching Pokemon work? I will display the HP of enemy Pokemon. Since most of us are vertrians of the game we know the mechanics and such. I'll do it via dice-roll. Example being you have a wild  lvl 20 Pidgyotto at 15/77 HP. I will roll a d12. If its 4 or higer its caught. I'm basically simplifying the actual equasion used to catch Pokemon. Note that Stronger pokemon will be harder to catch

 

Are our characters a team or not? Yes and No. Its a friendly competition between all of you. Its like Black/White. You guys CAN challenge each other (but for the love of Talos dont make a habit of it)

 

What's the setting other than Kanto? Johto, Hoenn, Sinnoh, Unova, Kalos.

 

How do battles work? You select Pokemon (Any doesnt matter which one) and the opponent Selects his/hers. Pick move and NPC picks move. Using simplified stats and all that. Say you send out a Ivysaur and the NPC sends out a Machoke. You select Razor Leaf compared to Machoke's Low Kick. Ivysaur is fast and the move hits. I calculate the damage and i say if he faints and all. If so YAY EXP!!! If not Machoke attacks wit Low kick (not doing much damage cause of type differental and a low powered move) Its a simplified version of the game: In text form.

 

As i said i had Naruto more developed than this one.
