@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

PROFRESOR PICKLE?!

UNLEASHED ADAPTATION CONFIRMED!

Uncle Ben slightly approves

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Redemption perhaps?

238 looks like Sonic was thrown out while 258 looks like he's jumping in

PROFRESOR PICKLE?!
UNLEASHED ADAPTATION CONFIRMED!

While I'm glad to see the professor back, I can't help but ask why everyone thinks the upcoming story arc is an adaption of "Unleashed".

I mean, back in issue 252, Tails mentions their last encounter with Silver from the DS version of "Colors", which canonically takes place after the events of "Unleashed". And since the comic is fallowing the game canon closer, I kinda expect them to keep the same continuity as the games.

I was just satirizing the "Hoenn Remakes Confirmed" Meme.

People are just seeing elements from it and are making suppositions; now two from all I have heard: 1.

Spoiler
, and 2. The mention of this Doctor Pickles in an upcoming issue. I've never played Unleashed, but I have looked up a bit about the game's storyline. However, I personally I believe that you are seeing parts here and there from that game and they may in fact be doing a tie-in of sorts, who knows, but I doubt that the comic is under any obligation to follow game continuity or the order they came in unless it's a special to advertize for a game about to be released or has just been released. Now, if Sonic Unleashed is about to be re-released or something like that I might think that there is a tie-in. That being said, the two events pertaining to unleashed might somehow be intertwined; we don't know what exactly Uncle Chuck's research was or if Prof. Pickles is involved with it somehow, but it does raise questions and who knows what happens once this new reality and the old one finally settle.

Maybe it isn't an adaption, it'll probably be a sequel adaption. Kinda like how "Shadow Fall" will be like a sequel to Shadow the Hedgehog.

Oh we do, it's just so unbelievable that we have to process this slowly lest we go insane.

Like the sound of the new issues! Can't wait to see how Silver and Knuckles are in this New World, yes I am hoping for the Secret Freedom Fighters to return and yes I would like to someday see those old comic characters one day, but hey one step at a time fellas.

Now my question is why no one is batting an eye over E-107!!! Seriously that is awesome! Which raises the question on where's E-106 when the original line in SA ended with E-105, AND how this new character is gonna look like. Seriously these new villains are great, come to think of Ian introduced (and remade) a LOT of new villains over heroes, has anyone else noticed this? The Rogue Gallery is gonna out number the Heroes at this rate. xD

Seriously, HOW THE HELL did nobody know that Robotnik was evil!? I mean just look at those red, glowing, hellish eyes, oh yeah I can completely trust that guy with my life! *sarcasm*

The removal of so much in the comic I feel has dulled it. Things are going to be more generic and flat for a long time.

Funny. That's exactly how the comic started out like during its beginning. But give it a few more years, and it'll probably grow into something interesting again.

Personally, I'm over the moon with this "pairing back" of characters. Hopefully they will focus more on the main cast than adding more characters to fill up the story due to unimaginative writing; although there are more than a few that I'll miss.

Personally I believe that we are seeing the present "future" in the "Genesis World" from 226-229.

I'm liking Sally on that cover; she still has her feminine shape. I was really afraid that she'd become a stick figure like Amy and the other Sonic "girls" that need to wear a dress and have an ugly bow in their hair so you can identify their gender.

The comic still had fresh material at the time to draw from SatAM and AoStH back then which evolved into its own thing. Now it feels like its just going through the motions of filler until the next Sega adaption starts. Recycled cover after cover of stock CG art of the characters just slapped on the covers to sell as a soulless product. Its disgusting how low the comic has sunk now.

Really? Have you seen Sega's library?

http://fc00.devianta...eka-d6utduo.jpg

Combine that with all the cast/elements of SatAM plus Ian's own creations and we still have plenty of new potential for future issues. Only time will tell if the comic can use its non-Penders characters and "Chronicles" material.
