Wow Valerie it's astounding that you show such mastery of two very different styles in such a short time with so few posts. Needless to say the new piece is wonderful (also - hawt X3) with your skill showing in places most artists avoid when they can (such as the foot and hands, where just the right amount of human and animal elements meet to fit perfectly your unique and distinctive style) a most definite win. :3

Awesome as always 83 that's an interesting pose on Viu-Valerie, lots of eye catching angles and details that invite further looking, it's alive without being "too busy". And (speaking just about the first picture of course X3) it looks to me like you're getting even better at detailing clothing and accessories.

How did I miss this? o.o Back to school and such can cause you to overlook a lot of things it seems :/ . I've seen these except the Valerie portrait and Edda design, the former portrait approaching the greatness of the brilliant colored Terra concept art you've posted earlier in this thread, except closer and in B/W, it has a softer feel about it. Fantastic work as always :3

Female Featherboxer (May not be work safe)

Featherboxers are a class of kickboxers who specializes in quick aerial moves stringed together in quick succession. They would prefer speed, grace and accuracy of strikes over power. As feather adornments are a sign of proficiency in the art, their bare wardrobe serves not only a practical purpose of unrestricted movement, but also to draw attention to the symbols of their status as accomplished masters of the art.



Jessica : Keeper of the mana pendant

Jessica, while having a passion for adventure, is also an accomplished martial artist of the traditional featherboxer and berserker style. The mana pendant is the valedictory gift from her martial arts mentor, who disappeared without a trace after their final training session together. It wasn't too long before her sense of curiousity fed into her adventurous spirit and became a near-insatiable desire to travel across the globe to discover its origin and the secrets it holds.

This, through a not-so-common set of circumstances, has made her the target of many adversaries who desire the pendant for what it keeps locked away. Jessica can only look in amazement at the pendant as she realized how much of her raison d'être it had become.



Brave knight Durant

A childhood friend and a sparring partner of Sharon, Durant is a bright fellow with an unusual amount of gusto and bravado. When training to become a knight in the town of Cantiaci, Durant adopted a "strength is everything" philosophy that had driven him to excell in his swordsmanship. This allowed him to rise up the ranks and become the commander of the Cantiaci knights fairly quickly.

Unfortunately, his philosophy of pure strength hasn't allowed him to progress much in swordsmanship skill and he will always be one step behind Sharon because of that. He also tends to push himself more than he should, and often ends up pretty roughed up after a hard day's battle. Not that it ever stops him from thinking he could keep going...which usually ends up with Sharon having to save his ass, much to his embarassment.

Good stuff :3 I've seen the first two but not the third before. Interesting tattoo/marking fur system, decorative and distinct, and nice anatomy/muscle work on all above , impeccable as always .

Amazing stuff as always Val I already gave you my comments but I'll say them again in case anyone has some more constructive criticism to add.
The finger on the left hand is a little thick (hands are some of the most frustrating things to draw as ya know X3 or can be) though that could be the glove design.
The face is wonderfully expressive of the general attitude in the pose, the eyes seem a little odd but that's just the angle which is understandably difficult to always get right, since even in life it can look odd for a few seconds when the head turns. Hmm the weapons are simply top notch, everything looks and flows pretty naturally as I can see, and the designs are eye catching and in keeping with the SF theme (hmm, maybe experiment with wear from usage on them? Not at all essential but could prove interesting). All in all a great addition to your impressive collection

Since I finally have net back up (though since I can only use front-lobby computers at moment not the privacy from over the shoulder gawkers for the NSFW-ness) I can finally make a comment on this (wanted to before but privacy here doesn't allow for worthy inspection really) it's a good drawing, yellow isn't really a color I would have chosen but it's applied pretty well, waist was a bit too small for the rest of the body, an interesting pose but she looks a little angry rather than contimplative. Definitely a good go for fun and the first time though. Great work all things considered.

As for the vids- fun and funny moments from a terribly underrated classic, man I miss that x3.
