@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

It happened less than an hour ago. His suffering is now over. But remember that it's not how long you live, it's what you do with your time. And in a nutshell, he was the one who inspired me to take up a career in engineering. I obtained my degree in 2010, but sadly I am yet to use it doe to the economy.

So the next time you visit St.Louis, the future location of Knothole when Earth becomes Mobius, and happen to stop by the airport, and you see the Boeing building, remember him.

Alton Schaible.

1934-2013.

Say hi to Ben for me.

I say the same. And I have lost my paternal grandfather, I know how it feels. 1 Corinthians 15:51-55.

 You are in my prayers.

My condolences. I've lost all but one grandparent, and I know it hurts. It may be sad when a loved one passes away, but he is in a much better place. It isn't "goodbye," just "'till we meet again."

My thoughts and prayers go out to your family.

Same for me. It's a painful experience, though like Louis they were suffering for a while, so at least they can rest.

My condolences to Louis and the rest of you.

I lost both of my grandfathers by the time I was 10.  They were great.

Every grandfather should deserve to be remembered, and I doubt yours is any different.

Long live the memory!  Long live the hope.

Today was visitation and well, this may sound morbid but I shook his hand for the last time.

Here is why, in the last few months of his life he always had a smile on his face when he saw me arrive. So before I left I usually tried to shake his hand so I just gently grabbed a few of his fingers.

And today I did it again for the last time.

He felt all rubbery and stiff. I don't know if it was from being preserved or the decay. At least he wasn't stone cold, well, what's left of him.

-_-  I send my condolences and prayers to you, your family and friends.  May he have a great and peaceful afterlife in God's kingdom.

On a personal note, :guiltysmiley: I know how you feel about losing grandparents. All my grandparents are gone, last one passed in 2008 and he was my mom's dad. And he was a wealthy man so he left me a nice little inheritance that helped with bills during that time. But beside that,  ^_^ he was a good grandparent, along with the others... except one of them  which i won't go there haha.

;) I know your grandfather is enjoying his eternal life, and i'm sure he's watching over you and his loved ones in spirit.

It's time to rejoice for your Grandpa, as my mom would say: "He graduated!"

"For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first:" 1st Thessalonians 4:16

AMEN!!! ^_^

An very rare photo of the late singer Aaliyah next to a statue of Sonic...

Now that is "One In A Million!"
