@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 11:25 AM)

Also I still have to figure out how to set up our e-mail accounts on the new host.

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 08:19 AM)

As soon as I figure out how to restore it. Sorry, I know I said it'd be done by now, but I didn't expect to have to put up with this DNS crap and other issues that popped up.

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

So when's the black theme coming back??

@  Uncle Ben : (24 July 2015 - 07:56 AM)

"Should"

@  furrykef : (24 July 2015 - 07:27 AM)

That DNS took longer to propagate properly than I thought it would. *Now* we should be back for good, though.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:48 PM)

Or it might be because Bluehost *finally* got around to that server wipe (one week after we'd asked for it) and that wiped out our DNS settings. I'm not sure which and I don't really care. In any case, we've severed our last ties with Bluehost, so this will not happen again.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 08:08 PM)

Looks like Bluehost yanked our DNS since our hosting account expired. That's why the site went down a while ago. But as you can see, it's fixed now.

@  Misk : (23 July 2015 - 04:55 PM)

No, they do not.

@  furrykef : (23 July 2015 - 04:27 AM)

The goggles do nothing?

@  Misk : (22 July 2015 - 05:50 PM)

My eyes.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 12:24 PM)

Looks like forum uploads might have been broken since last night. That should be fixed now too.

@  furrykef : (22 July 2015 - 01:33 AM)

Heh, whoops! Server went down for a few mins when I borked the config. Looks like it's back up now.

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 09:09 PM)

It looked like a napkin

@  ILOVEVHS : (21 July 2015 - 09:04 PM)

Fan-fuckin-tastic.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:25 PM)

As for the beaver picture while the forum was down, I think Tim drew it. On a napkin.

@  furrykef : (21 July 2015 - 08:24 PM)

No kiddin' about that "Finally!", Shadow. I am *so mad* at Bluehost for never responding to our support ticket. I submitted it early Friday morning and they *still* haven't answered it!

@  Uncle Ben : (21 July 2015 - 06:37 PM)

Maybe he did that himself

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:25 PM)

Say, who made the cute picture of Beaver Chief?

@  Shadow : (21 July 2015 - 05:24 PM)

Finally!

@  RedMenace : (21 July 2015 - 05:02 PM)

Woooo! The site's back up! Three cheers for Kef!

Hello there! I go by Ogilvie (obscure Sonic references for the win), but you may call me Tanner if it pleases you. It's a pleasure to have found my way here. :)

I'm a 20-year old Sonic fan residing in Las Vegas, Nevada, though I'm a New Yorker at heart. My first game was Sonic 1, but after Sonic 2 I never really played much of Sonic 3. I fell out of the fandom pretty much until SA2; since then I've remained a hardcore fan.

I'm a big Sonic geek and try my best to familiarise myself with all Sonic media if easily accessible; I like the comic strips, British and American. I have seen at least some episodes of all the Sonic cartoons. Needless to say I have never felt more at home than the Sonic Boom party; hopefully we can meet up there at the next one!

Now, onto my most distinctive trait besides my general rabid fanboyism. I am a Summer of Sonic and Sonic Boom enthusiast. I dream of a world with an annual Sonic convention in every region, as well as recurring meetups in every major city. For that reason I founded Sonic Social to help people find fans in their area, and if there is no group for their area, to help them set one up.

As part of this pursuit I'm also a member of the Sonic Revolution team, and we plan on holding an annual fan convention for Sonic fans every year on the West Coast; given time we will expand into holding cons around the world by partnering with local Sonic fans to promote and empower them.

That's all I can say really! I do hope my membership here is long and fruitful! :)

Better not be a Yankees, Giants or Jets fan...

Some say that he knows 2 facts about ducks, and both of them are wrong. And that 61 years ago he accidentally introduced Her Majesty The Queen to a Greek racialist. All we know is, I'm going to the tower now to have my head cut off, and he is called The Stig.

Nice to have you on board the FUS express.

Ogilvie?  Like Sonic's "real" name Ogilvie?

I don't follow sports, so no. :P

Correct! I adopted the name as Sonic's real name for a (on hiatus) fancomic project of mine, and I started using it as a pseudonym in places... and it stuck so much I decided to make it my username for all things Sonic-related.

Greetings, Ogilvie!  Anthony, author of the (currently working on rebooted version of) fanfiction series "Heroes of Arcadia", at your service.

Bonus points for the obscure Sonic reference, BTW.  I originally thought Ogilvie was his middle name and Maurice was his first.

Stranger:  "Yes! Here's the new Freedom Fighter! Nice to know ya."

*Shakes hand at your innitiation banquet.*

*Turns to Sonic*

Stranger: "Hm, that name sounds familiar. I swear we already have an Ogiville around here."

Sonic:" I uh...wouldn't know dude."  *Scracthes his quills nervously*

Antoine( *leering over his glass*): "Just Deja Vu, I guess."

Sonic: "Yeah...yeah, Dijion Vu."

*Antoine shakes his head as Sonic shuffles akwardly off to the buffet for a chili-dog*

Stranger: "Well Mr. Maurice is acting weird today."   "You think he knows we really know?"

Antoine: "Non, non, ses jambes sont rapides, mais son cerveau est lent. I say let 'em stew in it. After all, zhe mooch didn't go cooking anything for zhe potduck."

Stranger (correcting): "That's Potluck, Tony. And yeah, he did. *Points to Antoine's fork, placed in his mouth* Those mashed-potatoes. *Sips drink* I can totally vouch for him, you know...*Munches down a cocktail dog off Antoine's plate* Afterall, I had to lend him a stick of ...  margarine."

*Antoine.  Spazes.  Out.  _- _ - _ - :augh: *

Stranger: *Pats you on the back* Anywho, welcome to the team!   *Sips drink as Antoine begins wiping his tongue with a table cloth, while rambling in French.*

Stranger (off-screen) "Oh, try not to let these guys - um - quirks get to you...that, and the Roboticizor." *Walks off to pester Sonic.*

Antoine (*rambling and spazing back and forth the banquet*): "It's inside me! C'est à l'intérieur de moi! Get it out! Get it out! Sally, sauve-moi de ce poison!"

Now it's your turn to try harder, Red.

Oh! A Fan Comic? Perhaps you would be intrested in showing you work, or bouncing your ideas around with us: http://sonicsatam.co...pic=4873&page=6.

Thanks for the welcome as always!

I actually had a theory that maybe Mobians are like Eastern cultures and do the surname first and first name last, given that while Maurice is a first name, Ogilvie is a surname... but since his last name is "Hedgehog," that kind of torches that theory. :(

Hahaha, nice little scene you set up there. xD

And I probably will get around to sharing it there, preferably when there's more to show; while I've drawn about fifty pages or so, I have severe artist vision (not to mention, poor drawing ability) and so dislike sharing my work. :P

I need to hire you for marketing.

Seconded. Team Revolution needs guys like RedMenace!

Guys...am I gonna have to pull a King Solomon? *Pulls out a blade and presses against Menace's waist*  Who wants the top half?

I try.

Please do. I myself am an artist, and there are quite a few in the coallition. "As iron sharpens iron one man sharpens another." I am sure you could learn and be inspired by just bouncing ideas with them. We even PM about stuff we have not yet publicized (so it can be proofread and reviewed before it's out there in the open.) The door is open, Ogilvile. :awesome:  All you gotta do is walk in.
